Chapter 88 Elf Monarch Legacy
'I wonder if this legacy is fated to be owned by that player or if I could change the owner using my future knowledge.' Alex thought as he appraised the legacy ring.

'I am not surprised that one would need tremendous luck to acquire this legacy because no one would ever know that the only clue available on the ring is worthless.' Alex thought as he read the word written on the inner side of the ring.
The word written inside the ring was "Selfok Solas Ghalza" translating it with current knowledge would only lead to wasted time and effort.
The word "Selfok Solas Ghalza" translated to [ Marius the Blood King ], and that name and title coincidently belonged to a Vampire king.
After finding the meaning of the name, everyone would believe that the legacy was linked to vampires, which was completely incorrect as the vampires or even the Marius vampire king had nothing to do with the unknown legacy.
If uncovering the secrets was that easy, a legit [SSS] legacy wouldn't be selling for chump change in a remote corner of the human continent where only lunatics and treasure hunter spend their time.
The legacy probably belonged to the White flame Empire, and princess Alyssa brought it with her to the Shelmoure Fortress to open a shop for an unknown reason and place the ring in it to attract customers.
The legacy didn't belong to [ Marius the Blood King ] because Marius was a brute barbarian, an anomaly among the vampires, and his legacy was never lost, and it was still being passed down in the Royal family even to the current generation.
All this information was publicly available because Alyssa was the one to publish this information, and after some research, anyone would understand that the legacy didn't belong to [ Marius the Blood King ].
'I wonder how pissed the white Flame Royal family would be If they found out they sold an Elf Monarch legacy for chump change.'
'I also understand that the Empire should have done more than enough search for the information before giving up on this legacy, but even with their massive resources and power, finding the unknown information is impossible.' Alex thought with a bright smile as he placed the ring into his secured inventory to keep it safe.
The words written on the ring didn't translate into anything, but it was just the name of the Elf Monarch written in ancient elf language, and no one could understand it because the Elf Monarch and the ancient language were lost with time.
Alex didn't have much information about the Elf Monarch or his title, but he knew enough to help him easily acquire the legacy.
'This legacy has such an absurd restriction that only the fated person would acquire it or someone like me with future knowledge.' Alex thought, remembering the only restriction one needed clear to acquire the legacy.
The only restriction was for someone to acquire the legacy of being an Elf, not just any elf the person needed to be an Ancient Pure-blood Elf with very high Light element talent.
On the whole, elf content finding an elf that could meet this condition was impossible because the race of pure-blood ancient elves was extinct for thousands of years.
Alex knew of a way for any player to change their race into an ancient elf, but the process was long and tedious, and the chances of success were low.
A player first needs to change their race into a normal elf to start the process of changing race and becoming an ancient elf, and race change for players was only possible in the elf continent's central city.
'I need to wait for the travel to the Elf continent to open for every player before I could even think about finding a candidate for this legacy.' Alex thought as he left the building and walked toward the fifth-ring entry gate.
After a short walk, Alex reached the fifth ring entry gate, and after paying the fee, he entered the fifth ring, the most luxurious and comfortable place in the whole fortress.
The fifth ring was loaded with luxurious hotels for people to rest, casinos for rich people to gamble, places like spas to relieve stress, and entertainment clubs and bars with fancy drinks.
The complete fifth ring was for wealthy visitors to enjoy their time in this dangerous place, but the money these facilities charged were also so ridiculous that the ten thousand gold coins fee for entering the fifth ring was chump change in comparison.
'This is a nice place for lunatic Adventurers to rest and spend the wealth that they got after risking their lives in the forbidden land of darkness.' Alex thought as he walked toward the sixth gate with quick steps.
The fifth ring of the Shelmoure Fortress had all the luxuries and things any adventurer could get in any big city, so most adventurers would enter the ring and won't leave even after a long time.
The majority of Adventurers living in the fifth ring were at the strength level of peak third Rank, and these adventurers lived here to visit the forbidden land to earn good money while also hoping to find something that could change their life.
The forbidden land of darkness was filled with great opportunities, and every peak third Rank NPC and Player Adventurer was hoping to find such an opportunity to help him reach the next strength level.
The great opportunities and dangers co-existed, making every trip to the forbidden land life-threatening for NPC and Player adventurers.
The players were semi-immortal, but even they could die permanently inside the forbidden land because the protection from AI Zero would
not work, and so if a strong creature decided to attack a player with elemental flame, the chances of a player surviving were very low.
The players did complain about not having protection inside the forbidden land, but the reply from AI Zero made the complaining player shut their mouths.
AI Zero said the forbidden lands were filled with treasures, and if no restrictions were placed on players, they would start exploiting these lands by searching more dangerous areas without the fear of death.
So to keep the game balanced and realistic for every player, the protection from AI Zero inside forbidden lands was exempted.
The players obviously were not satisfied with the reply from Zero and didn't stop complaining, and then Zero told everyone complaining to stop playing the game if they did not like how he ran things because the decision was staying the same no matter what they did.
'Let's spend some money to skip this long waiting line.' Alex thought after reaching the sixth ring entry gate.
The sixth-ring entry gate had two short-distance teleportation platforms in two separate small black chambers that were used to teleport adventurers directly to the seventh ring in a safe area near the forbidden land portal.
The sixth ring was the living area for the Sanguine Doom Guards, and it was completely off-limits to everyone and so to reach the forbidden land portal, the adventurer used the two teleportation platforms.
The two teleportation platforms did the same thing, but one was free to use, while to use the other one needed to pay a hefty fee.
The free teleportation platform could only transport ten people, and then it would be on cooldown for the next thirty minutes, so for an adventurer to get his turn, he would need to wait at least five to twenty hours, depending on the adventurer waiting in lines.
The paid platform, on the other hand, was better as it could teleport one adventurer at a time with no cooldown, but an adventurer would need to pay one hundred thousand gold coins to utilize it just once.
Alex walked toward the paid platform room, and after paying the fee, he entered the teleportation chamber, and in a few short seconds, the space around him started to twist and bend, and when it stabilized, he was at his destination.
After Alex left the teleportation chamber, he heard players and NPC adventurers cheering and celebrating while looking in one direction.
'The Sanguine guard must be fighting with a monster from the forbidden land.' Alex thought as he exited the chamber, and he was right about his deduction.
'This fight would be entertaining to watch.' Alex thought after seeing a single Sanguine guard against a towering gorilla with four arms.
'This gorilla is a mid-fifth Rank beast while the guard is only at an early stage, and even though the fight would be tough, the guard is winning with certainty.' Alex thought, knowing that every Sanguine guard was a killing machine honed to fight with beasts of any kind.
Alex couldn't leave the protective barrier until the fight ended, so he stood silently to enjoy the epic battle like every adventurer around him.
