Chapter 153 The Nuclear Bunker Hidden In The Mountains Of Catanduanes
Arlan stared at Paolo with a smile. He really wanted to kill this bastard, but he knew that it wouldn't do him any good. He had already offended the Cassano Family. If he pulled the whiskers of the De Luca Family, La Cosa Nostra might mobilize its force to fight him.
Paolo De Luca was still sober despite chugging down a bottle of alcohol.
"Mr. De Luca, I will now send you the remaining payment for this transaction." Arlan took a light sip after saying those words.
"Thank you so much for choosing us, Mr. Roa! If you have more big purchases, don't hesitate to call me. I'll make sure to give you a big discount!" Paolo De Luca laughed heartily. After apologizing to Arlan, he felt like a heavy boulder was lifted off his chest.
"Then I'll thank you in advance." Arlan grinned. Sitting beside him, Krizia was transferring the money to Paolo's account. "Mr. Roa, I've already transferred the money." Krizia whispered.
Hearing this, Arlan stared at Paolo and told him. "Mr. De Luca, we've already transferred the payment to your account. Please have your people check it."
Paolo's eyes lit up as he replied. "There's no need! I trust you, Mr. Roa! Hahaha!"
The two chatted harmoniously while hiding their real intentions in their hearts.
If Krizia didn't know the history between them, she would have thought that they were childhood best friends.
Cedrick who was standing behind Arlan and Krizia was silent the entire time. He just stood there, observing Paolo's subordinates with his piercing gaze. He was prepared to take action at any moment. After injecting the Body Enhancing Serum into his body, he was more confident in his combat skills. He even felt like he was back in his younger days.
Soon, all the cargo have been transferred to Arlan's ship.
"I won't stay here for long, Mr. De Luca. The Maharlika Coastguard might be here at any moment so we have to leave." Arlan stood up from his seat.
Paolo also stood up, but he almost lost his balance because of dizziness. Luckily, one of his subordinates caught him on time. "Alright. Let me see you off." He also didn't want to stay in the middle of the ocean for long.
Paolo's crew escorted them back to their speedboats.
After they left, Paolo's crew members heaved a sigh of relief.
"They're finally gone!"
"That was the most tiring hours of my life..."
Paolo snorted when he heard his subordinates' words. He then stormed back to his room. From his conversation with Arlan, he knew that the other party had no plans to become enemies with him so he wasn't worried that they would attack their ship.

"Did you guys inspect the goods?" Arlan asked after returning to the battleship.
"Yes, Mr. Roa! They are all in good condition and there's even a surplus of over a hundred of each equipment." A soldier responsible for checking the goods answered.
"Oh? That's quite the nice gift." Arlan chuckled before he walked away.
The return journey was quite long because they had to avoid the Maharlika Coastguard. The journey was extended to slightly more than an hour and Arlan was too tired to return to Makati City so he decided to stop by in a hotel in Catanduanes.
When he woke up, all the weapons and equipment had already been placed inside their transport trucks.
"Good morning, boss!"
"Good morning, Mr. Roa!" Krizia and Cedrick were already waiting for him in the lobby of the hotel.
"Good morning." Arlan smiled at them. "I'll make a call first before we go home." He said as he grabbed his phone.
[Congratulations! You claimed x1 Nuclear Bunker!]
[The location of the bunker is already marked in your device.]
Arlan was ecstatic when he saw the daily reward. He quickly opened his map to check the location of the bunker. There was a mark in the mountainous area of Catanduanes which wasn't far from his current location.
"Let's go somewhere first. I need to check on something." He said to Krizia and Cedrick.
"Yes, boss!"
"Yes, Mr. Roa!"
Arlan headed to the location of the bunker together with Krizia and Cedrick. They also brought ten soldiers with them for additional protection.
"We're here. Stop the car." Arlan said to Cedrick.
Cedrick stepped on the brake. He then communicated with the other soldiers and told them to stop.
"Mr. Roa, what are we doing here? Are you planning to buy this land?" Krizia asked him curiously when she saw Arlan looking around.
"Can you check for me who has ownership over this area?" Arlan didn't want anyone to see the nuclear bunker so it was necessary to make some preparations.
"I'll look into it." Krizia nodded her head. She then grabbed her phone to make a call to someone.
Arlan followed the map and they soon arrived at the foot of a mountain. "Where is the entrance?" He mumbled to himself.
Krizia and the others didn't know what he was looking for, but they didn't ask anything. They just followed him silently.
Soon, Arlan saw a blast door hidden in the foliage. He excitedly jogged towards it while telling the others to follow him.
"What's this? There's actually a door!" Cedrick was stunned when he saw the thick metal door.
Krizia was also surprised, but she was still speaking with someone on the phone so she just quietly watch behind Arlan and Cedrick.
"This is a nuclear bunker. I had this made some time ago." Arlan gave them a random excuse. The blast door was quite advanced and it needed his fingerprint for it to be unlocked. He had to lift the door since it was diagonally placed on the ground. The door was quite heavy so it took him a bit of effort to lift it.
"Let's go inside." Arlan grinned at Cedrick. He also wanted to bring Krizia with them, but she was still talking with someone.
Cedrick solemnly nodded his head. "Yes, boss!"
