Chapter 13 Change

When Arlan arrived at the Royal Territory, he was stopped by four security guards. They were tall and intimidating. It was also obvious that they were former soldiers from the dangerous aura he sensed from them.

"Sir, only homeowners and family members are allowed to go inside. If you have a property here, please show us your documents." One of the security guards said as soon as Arlan rolled down the window of his car. The other three security guards proceeded to inspect his car from all angles. They even brought out a German Shepherd to sniff out his car for any potentially harmful or illegal items.

Arlan obediently nodded his head when he heard the security guard's words. He knew that they were only doing their job so he didn't make things difficult for them or it was more appropriate to say that he didn't dare to make things difficult for them.

"Alright. Just give me a second here." Arlan responded before taking out the ownership title of the Lake View Villa. He felt a bit nervous as he handed it to the security guard. He was thinking that he would be a goner if it wasn't real.

The security guard took the document and scrutinized it carefully. He then handed it to another security guard who was holding a laptop. "Please wait for a moment, sir. We'll verify the document you presented and write down your details in our system. Could you also show me your id?"

"Sure." Arlan grabbed his id and handed it to the security guard.

He patiently waited for them to complete their inspection. He wasn't in a rush anyway and he also have nothing to do so he didn't mind waiting for a bit.

A few minutes later, the security guard returned his id and documents as he muttered. "Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Roa. We have already verified your documents and inputted your details into our system. Just show your id the next time you enter the territory."

Arlan nodded his head. "You're welcome. Alright. By the way. Could you tell me where the Lake View Villa is?"

The security guard looked at him strangely upon hearing this. 'Did this guy just purchase his mansion without even inspecting the place?' He thought to himself. He then grabbed something from his pocket. It was a folded map of the Royal Territory. "This is a map of the territory." He muttered before pointing to a location on the map. "The Lake View Villa is here. You can take this map with you for reference."

"Thanks." Arlan gratefully took the map from the security guard.

"Open the gates!" The security guard shouted to his comrades.

The electronic gate was soon opened and Arlan immediately stepped on the accelerator. He followed the direction of the map and soon arrived in front of a huge mansion that was just beside a lake.

Arlan stopped his car in front of the mansion. "Is this my new home?" He muttered in disbelief.

In front of him was a modern-style mansion with magnificent landscaping. The architecture exuded a sense of grandeur with tall ceilings and large windows.

Arlan excitedly walked along the artistically-designed gravel path as he looked around the freshly-trimmed lawn. He couldn't believe that he would be living in such a beautiful place.

When he entered the mansion, he was stupefied by the modernized design. He even thought that he had traveled ten years into the future!

Arlan sat on the soft couch and smiled happily as he observed everything inside. "Such a huge home. It's a pity that I'm the only one here. Should I bring my parents here?" He muttered, but he immediately discarded the idea.I think you should take a look at

He was only a struggling construction worker a few days ago and he had suddenly become a millionaire with a multi-million dollar mansion. His parents would definitely suspect that he was doing something illegal if he brought them to his new mansion. He also didn't plan to tell them about the mysterious app because they might think that he was a lunatic.

"How should I convince my parents that I didn't do anything illegal?" He pondered deeply as he rubbed his chin. Arlan's head hurt as he brainstormed for a great alibi. However, after thinking for a long time, he sighed and shook his head. He couldn't think of anything good.

"Let's take it slow. I'll keep this a secret for now." He muttered.

He then stood up and searched for the master's bedroom. He was tired after having an eventful day so he decided to rest for the night.

The moment he closed his eyes, he immediately fell asleep.

The next morning, Arlan got up from the king-sized bed and stretched his muscles. "What a comfortable sleep!" He chuckled lightly. He then grabbed his phone and checked the notifications.

[You can now claim your daily reward!]

[Do you want to claim your daily reward?]

[Yes]

Arlan unhesitatingly clicked the [Yes] option.

[Congratulations! You claimed 10 Years of Super Soldier Experience!]

Arlan couldn't read the entire sentence because he felt an excruciating pain spreading throughout his body. He clutched his head and leaned on the bed as he groaned.

"Argh!"

All sorts of experiences were added to his mind. Shooting, hand-to-hand combat, knife-wielding, and more information related to fighting.

Arlan's entire aura started to change after he had fully integrated the experience of a super soldier. His eyes turned calm and there was hidden cruelty behind his gaze. His muscles also became more prominent and well-defined, looking extremely powerful.

"What a terrible experience..." He muttered to himself. The ten years of experience as a super soldier was so terrible and he felt that it had happened to him, but he was also satisfied by this. The experience was very valuable and he could use it to protect himself from harm.

At this moment, his entire being changed. He no longer had the honest look he once possessed. At first glance, Arlan seemed to be a warrior who had gone back from the battlefield! His aura was so intense that even those four security guards he met last night looked average in comparison.
