Chapter 12 VIP Card
Arlan felt his phone vibrating. He sneakily unlock it under the table and checked the notifications. He then clicked the notification from the mysterious app.
[Your heartfelt piano performance was loved by the crowd! You can now claim your reward!]
[Do you want to claim your reward?]
[Yes]
[Congratulations! You claimed the Lake View Villa in Royal Territory!]
[The ownership title for the villa has already been sent to your room.]
'Royal Territory!' Arlan was shocked when he saw the prompts. This place was a large subdivision with dozens of multi-million dollar mansions! There were even mansions priced at hundreds of millions of dollars! Only the richest of the rich could afford to buy a mansion there and now, Arlan owned one of the villas in this area.
He suppressed his excitement and kept his phone inside his pocket. He then chatted with the young men and women around him.
A bespectacled young man dressed in expensive clothes frowned as he looked at Arlan who was at the center of attention. He felt jealous of him because the girl he likes was showing interest in Arlan.
"Arlan, are you still studying right now?" The bespectacled young man asked with a smile.
Everyone immediately turned their gazes to Arlan.
Hearing this, Arlan shook his head lightly and answered honestly. "I didn't go to college. My family is poor so I have to work to help them."
The bespectacled young man smiled strangely after hearing his reply. "Oh? So you're working now. I wonder which prestigious company you are working for." His words contained a strong sense of sarcasm and the others clearly noticed this, but they didn't say anything because this person was the son of Phillip Villar, a real estate mogul. The Villar Family was among the top five strongest families in the country of Maharlika. Its power and authority had already stretched all over the country!
Terrence frowned as he looked at the young man. "Detlef!" He called out in a warning tone.
Detlef shrugged his shoulders as he chuckled lightly. "I'm only asking because I'm curious."
Arlan narrowed his eyes as he glanced at Detlef. This young man was purposefully making things difficult for him. "Terrence, it seems like your friends don't like me. In that case, I'll take my leave." He stood up and decisively left the group.
Terrence wanted to say something, but in the end, he could only sigh helplessly. He glared at Detlef and muttered. "I'll remember this." He then followed Arlan.
Detlef merely snorted in response.
Terrence caught up to Arlan and immediately said. "Arlan, I'm really sorry about this. That guy is Detlef and he is the heir of the Villar Family. He is acting like this because the woman he likes seems to be interested in you."
"Just because of that? What a narrow-minded person... Tell me more about him." Arlan stared at Detlef from afar. His eyes revealed a cold glint.
Terrence's eyes widened upon hearing this. "Arlan, don't provoke that person. He might be arrogant, but he is also a talented guy. He already owns a huge portion of their family's wealth and even his father thinks highly of him." He whispered.
Arlan furrowed his eyebrows at his words. From the looks of it, Detlef wasn't just a foolish rich young master. "Don't worry. I know what I'm doing." He muttered.
He became even more determined to create his own business empire. Only that way could he stop those arrogant people from looking down on him.
Terrence patted his shoulders. He felt that Arlan'sa aura had suddenly undergone a major change.
The party continued and at the end of the celebration, Henry Sanchez sent someone to Arlan.
"Mr. Roa, this is a gift from Mr. Sanchez. He said that he would like to hear you play the piano again soon." The young secretary handed two cards to Arlan. One was Henry's business card and the other one was a VIP card from Jobby Corporation. With this VIP card, he would receive a 50% discount on Jobby and any other businesses under the Sanchez Family.
"Thank you. Please convey my gratitude to Mr. Sanchez." Arlan didn't stand on ceremony and took the cards.
"I'll relay your words." The young secretary smiled at him before she left.
"How lucky! You actually got this card from Uncle Henry after only meeting him once! My father only got that card after becoming close with him." Terrence muttered in surprise.
"That valuable?" Arlan couldn't help but look at the VIP card in shock.
Terrence nodded his head and stared at him speechlessly. "Of course! With that card, you will enjoy huge discounts in any shop under the Sanchez Family. You will even be invited during important occasions."
After hearing this, Arlan carefully kept the VIP card and the business card.
"Terrence, I'll go somewhere first." Arlan wanted to check his new villa as soon as possible.
"Wait! What about the unit? You still have to choose one unit!" Terrence shouted at Arlan who was walking out of the banquet hall.
Arlan waved his hand and shouted back in response. "I'll give you a call once I'm back!"
Terrence ran after him, but Arlan had already disappeared. "That guy is so fast..." He muttered with a wry smile. He wondered where Arlan was going for him to leave without hesitation.
Meanwhile, Arlan had already gone back to his room. He saw the ownership title of the villa on the table. He read it carefully and found out that it was real. He excitedly kept it inside his bag before he went out of the room. He then went to the parking area to look for his car.
"Time to visit my new house..." He muttered with a smile.
