X-Rank Hunter

Chapter 130: Incoming Threat?

Chapter 130: Incoming Threat?

The man was still cursing in his heart those Hunters who'd left him all alone when he reflexively turned his gaze around to see the Plapla. And shockingly, he saw it floating in the midair and was currently shrouded in something like a red steam.

Upon seeing it, the fear in his heart, and the tremble of his body grew stronger as he couldn't even think of running away anymore.

The Plapla was now about to explode! He never thought that he would have such an end this early.

After a while, the man saw the Plapla trembling furiously in excitement as if it wanted to explode already. The man could only cry out in his heart, "This is really the end..."

Booooooh!

The man was shocked! To the point that his eyes were now all white. He passed out. He fell on the ground helplessly with his tongue sticking out.

Chuckling.

After the man passed out, the soft chuckle of a little girl echoed to the surroundings. Soon afterward, her voice echoed next, "It's a prank."

After which, the Plapla that everyone was terrified of, popped out in the thin air like a bubble.

"If all the Hunters have no backbones, then maybe, becoming a Hunter isn't a wise choice at all?" The little girl was a bit disappointed as she shook her head. But of course, her fake smile didn't leave her. Who else could it be other than Elaine De Rosa?

After leaving her family and wandering aimlessly around, she'd decided to join Hunter Association to have a feel for what being a Hunter felt like.

And when she found this village and the Hunter Association who was recruiting Hunters from all the remote place around, Elaine had, of course, tried to join.

But she had lost interest midway after answering the nonsensical riddle of the one facilitating the test. After which, she tried to see if those Hunters could put their words into action but it appeared that it wasn't the case. All of them only cared for their own safety and didn't even hesitate to leave others behind!

Elaine was really disappointed. Was this the world-famous Hunter Association? They couldn't even be compared to the bonds of their Triangle of Sin. If it was their organization, they would rather die than seeing their comrades being hunted down.

But all the Hunters in this place actually left someone behind?! Tsk! Tsk! Even after clicking her tongue many times already, Elaine's dissatisfaction was only growing stronger.

"Kid, what are you doing here?!" Amidst her dissatisfaction, Elaine heard a voice of a middle-aged man around her. She looked upwards and there she saw a middle-aged man standing on the roof.

Elaine's smile didn't leave her as she responded bluntly, "I'm trying to join Hunter Association."

"Don't joke with me!" The middle-aged man scoffed coldly as he added, "Go home and I may spare your life!"

Although the other party had a huge bounty in her head, he wasn't even tempted to get it even a little. He knew full well that if he did so, it might cause another civil war! Their kingdom wasn't prepared for that especially when there was another crisis they were currently troubling with.

"But I'm really trying to join Hunter Association," Elaine responded as she continued while pointing her index finger to the man lying on the ground, "Ask him if you don't want to believe me."

After which, the man woke up suddenly as he got up and looked at the person on the roof. He then said, "She really was trying to join Hunter Association..."

"Bullshit!!!" The middle-aged man was angered. "Stop with your tricks and go home already! Or else, I will definitely make a move!"

He knew that this kid before him, the daughter of the head of the infamous Triangle of Sin organization, had the ability to implant fake memories to the victims she controlled. Did she think that he would fall to such a puny trick?!

"But I'm really trying to join your Hunter Association..." Elaine explained as if she was actually worrying. Although she wasn't really lying in there, she made it appear that as if she was lying.

"Yes, she really wants to join us..." The man hurriedly supported her worriedly as he added, "Besides, don't look for the people's past, they might really change and want to turn a new leaf."

"Enough!" With veins popping out on his forehead, the middle-aged man roared furiously. He exuded out a hostile aura and an incredible amount of World Energy threatening to shatter the space around.

Turn a new leaf my ass!

Don't look for the people's past my ass!

That sayings is cannot be applied to the infamous criminal organization, Triangle of Sin!

"It's beginning..." Somewhere at a distance away from the village, many people gathered around. It was obvious that those people were the people who escaped from the village. After they successfully and safely left the village, they hurriedly informed the Hunter Association that there was a Plapla in their village. They were afraid that it was about to explode at any time.

The Hunter Association was shocked and when they confirmed from many other Hunters reporting the same matter that it might be true, they immediately dispatched an S-rank Hunter who was nearby to see the situation. They were just relieved upon knowing that there was an S-rank Hunter near the village of where it was reported that a Plapla was found.

They knew how terrifying this Plapla, created solely by the Triangle of Sin, really was. But this Plapla was banned during the peace treaty. The Hunter Association and Triangle of Sin agreed that the Triangle of Sin would cease to use the Plapla in exchange for not bothering them.

Although this peace treaty wouldn't last for too long, the Hunter Association never thought that it would end this early. Was the Triangle of Sin finally making a move again after 15 years of silence? Were they preparing for yet another civil war? They must understand the fact that they had currently no SSS-rank Awakener among their ranks!

With that being said, the Hunter Association wanted to confirm if these Criminals were giving a warning that they would soon make a move! Warning them with this Plapla huh? The Hunters wanted to see if this was courage or stupidity! Although if they fought again, and the Hunter Association would surely suffer, it was not to the point that they would lose to them!

As for now, the person sent by the Hunter Association still hadn't found any Plapla around. However, he found an even more terrifying than the Plapla, the daughter of the head of the Triangle of Sin, Elaine De Rosa!

That person sent by the Hunter Association then informed the Hunter Association that instead of Plapla, what he found was this little girl. The Hunter Association was shocked. Was the Plapla came from her? That might be the case!

But it was weird. If the Triangle of Sin was planning to have another war, why would they send their beloved daughter to the enemy's den? Were they giving up on her? No, how could they give their precious child just like that?! The Hunter Association felt that there was some other reason than this. They just couldn't make sense of it at the moment...

"Don't make me repeat myself. Go home now before I kill you!" The middle-aged man wasn't patient at all as he said coldly and as he glared at Elaine. It appeared that he would really make a move this time if the other party didn't leave the area.

"Fine, why are you being so unfriendly?" Elaine sighed deeply making the middle-aged man retract his hostile aura as the World Energy coming out from him had subsided. But of course, it didn't lower his guard even for a bit.

Elaine then waved her hand towards the man beside her. The man then came back to his senses as he immediately noticed the little girl before him.

The man then shuddered and fell with his ass on the ground as he crawled backward. With a quivering voice, he said in difficulty, "Y-you! W-why are you still here?! Am I in hell?! But that's impossible, I lived a good life, how come I am here?!"

The man thought that he was already dead. And upon seeing the devil who killed him, he had thought that he was in hell now. Just how unlucky was he?!

"You're not yet dead..." Elaine was speechless. Was she really that evil for the other party thought that he was in hell upon seeing her? "It's only because of my goodwill that you've survived until now."

The man didn't know what to say. Goodwill? What goodwill was she talking about? Was leaving a Plapla she called 'present gift' on the table was an act of goodwill? If so, then there must be no evil person in the whole world anymore!
