Chapter 270 - 270 Silver Death.
270 Silver Death.
Titan did not believe in the threat and asked, “What can you do?”
Valerian did not say anything and came to stand in front of Libra. Everyone was curious about what will happen now. The Emperor looked at Valerian and faced with his firm and the clear gaze he was confused. The silver-haired boy asked, “Your Excellency, may I act willfully? I guarantee that this matter will be settled quickly.”
Libra thought for a bit and then said, “Fine, I hope you keep the casualties low.”
Valerian did not reply and turned around to look at the three rulers of the neighboring nations, and said, “I would like your excellencies to come along with me.”
The people were confused and the Emperor of the Stella nation asked, “What do you intend to do?”
Valerian looked at the man and asked, “Be patient, Your Excellency, this trip will not be harmful to you.”
The young emperor knew that Valerian was not someone he should be messing with, after all, the strength displayed just now was enough proof of his valor. Some people from the crowd even believed that Valerian might be able to single out the other four people on his own.
Ashlyn discussed this with her ministers and said, “Prince Valerian, I will join you.”
Morgana stepped forward and said, “I will join you too.”
.....
The Emperor of the Stella Nation sighed and said, “I will also join, this trip will not be long, right, Prince Valerian?”
The young man shook his head and looked up at the sky. A faint smile appeared on his face, and soon everyone was shocked. A silver dragon, as big as seven carriages was gliding over their heads. The dragon flashed and then a white tiger landed on the ground. The beast landed on the ground and then slowly walked over to Valerian’s side.
Expect the members of the royal family, everyone was shocked at this scene. Valerian did not say anything and just reached out his hand to touch the head of the tiger. The tiger gazed back into his eyes and said, “Seems like you did not waste your time out there.”
Valerian replied, “Would you not have beaten me up if I brought you to shame?”
Fortuna snorted and said, “What do you intend to do now? This weakling does not need to be left alive.”
While she said this, she turned around to glare and growl at the Valkyrian people. Valerian said, “We are heading over to the front lines, and will bring this guy with us. I would like him to see what will happen because of their lust for war.”
Fortuna nodded and then three people followed the beast and the boy down the mountain while the Emperor of the Stella Nation dragged the half-dead Titan behind him with a rope. The titan peak, which happened to share its name with the ruler of the berserkers, was filled with merchants and travelers from all over the continent.
These guys did not expect to see such a sight. Morgana looked at the two entities in front of her and asked, “How about we youngsters give up the etiquettes for a bit?”
Morgana nodded and said, “Oh, finally, I found someone on the same page as me.”
The emperor of the Stella nation nodded and said, “Why do I need to carry this dead weight?”
Morgana chuckled and said, “You better be careful, what if that guy used his legs and mouth to attack you?”
The young emperor shook his head and said, “You do not need to worry, the easy I am dragging him behind is that I broke his knees and dislocated his jaw. He cannot kill himself or anyone.”
The two ladies nodded nonchalantly, they did not care about such a small this, they had done a lot more gruesome things.
...
Valerian and the three were standing at the foot of the mountain and the silver-haired boy said, “We will take the flying carriage.”
Ashlyn said, “My carriage has flying beasts. Let’s go.”
She led the group to the flying carriage and they all boarded quickly, only Titan was tied outside the carriage to suffer. The cabbie took the reins and the carriage flew away.
...
Inside the carriage, three people sat on one side while Valerian and Fortuna sat on one side. Morgana was not afraid of the two but she sat on the other side because Ashlyn was shivering slightly. She asked, “Val, what are you going to do there, and why did you call for us?”
Valerian replied, “The Valkyrians are all blessed with a physique stronger than an average human, and they have an excellent understanding of beast taming too. This is the reason they are so good at overpowering us.
Some of them are blessed by gladius and those gifted people reach the realm of a grandmaster. Now, what if the source of their strength was taken out of the equation, they will become similar to us.”
The Young Emperor opposite Valerian raised his brow and asked, “What do you mean by that, Valerian? What is the source of their power?”
Valerian nodded, and said, “They...”
...
The young man recited the things he had discovered and caused a great shock to the three people. Ashlyn asked, “What is the plan? How much chance of coming back alive?”
Valerian said, “The possibility of coming back alive is love, but the plan is like this...”
The four people worked together very nicely and formulated a plan. The roles were divided and they all agreed. Morgana said while looking out from the carriage window, “I do not know why you want to complete the last part of the plan alone?”
Valerian did not reply but Fortuna did, “This is his test. You do not need to think too much about it. Just follow the plan and leave the rest to fate.”
Soon they arrived near the front and Valerian said, “This is where we will get off, and Ashlyn tell the cabbie to circle the area and allow Titan to watch the proceedings.”
Ashlyn sighed and said, “You are cruel.”
The young man scoffed and did not bother answering her. Ashlyn signaled and soon the carriage landed near the front. Morgana got down first, followed by the rest of them. The place where they got down was the territory of the Centurion nation and the army was posted there.
In the carriage, Morgana used her soul communication bead to call the commanding officer over to this spot in order to make their actions easier. The group did not wait for long before a few people walked out of the shadows. They were all led by three people. Valerian looked at the entourage and said, “Your Excellency sure knows how to put on a show.”
Morgana looked at him and gently punched him in the gut. While Ashlyn asked, “He is not wrong, we have a Battlemage, an Archmage, and a grandmaster welcoming us. This is a show.”
The dark witch said, “You traitor.”
Ashlyn winked at her. They were young people and while Ashlyn and Lyon were not playing as champions, they were considerably strong. The three people developed a good rapport with each other during the planned discussion in the carriage.
The older people stepped forward and greeted Morgana, then they guided the group to the front. After reaching the outermost defense line, the old battlemage asked, “Your Excellency, what do you wish to do here?”
Morgana smiled and said, “I am under oath that I cannot reveal the plan to you just yet, Magnus Magister Kyle. Just trust me, it will be fine.”
The old man nodded and asked, “Shall I arrange some soldiers for your protection?”
Morgana shook her head and said, “You all just need to stand back, we have our own methods, and do not worry we will not be putting our lives in danger.”
The three old people did not know how to be at ease with this plan but since it was a direct command from the Empress, they could not help but nod in agreement. Lyon was a warrior, and he was going to be the tip of the triangle, while Ashlyn will support him with spells and Morgana will protect Ashlyn.
They were going to face the Valkyrian forces on their own without the help of any additional support. This was not an easy task. When the people had finished donning their armor and checking supplies, they looked at Valerian at the side and found the young man gazing at the front with a calm gaze.
Morgana did not know what was going on in his mind. She only said, “Val, we are ready.”
The young man nodded and said, “Alright, then we will move as planned.”
The lady nodded and then Valerian moved forward. His speed was so quick that Morgana only saw a brief shadow flickering of his. The three old men were surprised and said, “Is he not the silver death?”
