Chapter 281: Chapter 281: I’m the Only One in Our Dorm Room
Luo Ziling didn’t hide much and briefly described how he treated Li Haiyang, and how Lin Lan had come to pick him up by car.

“You actually had such a miraculous encounter?” Yang Qingyin was unaware of Li Haiyang and Dragon Rise’s matters, but after Luo Ziling’s simple introduction, she understood that the old man and that troop were extraordinary.

“That female military officer was injured during a mission and happened to collapse near our small mountain village. I rescued her, brought her back, and treated her injuries,” Luo Ziling didn’t conceal how he met Lin Lan and further explained, “My grandfather and the elder Li are old acquaintances. He knew of my grandfather’s excellent medical skills, and since I had cured Lin Lan, he invited me over to treat him.”

“With such people helping you, you’re really lucky,” Yang Qingyin said, still a bit amazed, “It seems you’ve had quite a few adventures. How many times have you played the hero saving the beauty?”

“Senior, don’t tease me,” Luo Ziling said a bit shyly, “As a healer, no matter what kind of patient I encounter, I will lend a hand. It’s the sacred responsibility of a healer.”

“That female officer must be very beautiful, right?” Yang Qingyin giggled. “I saw her photo on the school forum today. Someone captured the process of you fighting in the morning and posted it on the school forum. Although it was quickly deleted, it’s still being shared in certain circles, and I happened to see it.”

“An ice-faced beauty, luckily she was there; otherwise, I would have definitely been taken to the police station again,” Luo Ziling didn’t want to talk much about Lin Lan in front of Yang Qingyin and quickly changed the subject, “Senior, has your family really sent quite a number of people to monitor your movements at school?”

As soon as Yang Qingyin heard Luo Ziling bring up this topic, she couldn’t help but feel indignant. “Yeah, according to Xiaoli, at least five people are surveilling me.”

Because of this, Yang Qingyin’s attitude towards her father had greatly changed, and she no longer saw him as democratic or tolerant.

“How do you plan to deal with these five people?” After thinking for a while, Luo Ziling quietly asked Yang Qingyin, “If you want to play a prank on them, I can provide a way.”

Initially without such an idea, Yang Qingyin became curious after hearing Luo Ziling suggest it. “What way?”

“I have many medicines. If you want to play a prank, I can make them have diarrhea, or bellyaches so severe they can’t stand up straight, or even cause them to faint. Anyway, whatever you want them to go through, I can make it happen.” As he said this, Luo Ziling smiled mischievously at Yang Qingyin.

Among the willows, the light was rather dim, but the two, having adjusted to the darkness, could still make out each other’s expressions vaguely.

The bright, sparkling objects in their eyes were even more distinctly visible.

Having heard him, Yang Qingyin showed a bit of eagerness to try: “That might really be worth a shot.”

Luo Ziling promptly suggested in a low voice, “How about we go out together for fun or for a meal someday, and find a way to drug them so they can’t follow us?”

“I want to make the life of each person monitoring me hell,” Yang Qingyin said fiercely before bursting out laughing, “Wouldn’t it be fun if they had to run to the restroom every ten minutes? Wouldn’t that stop them from tracking us?”

Luo Ziling also grinned, “At that frequency, before long they’ll be dehydrated, even fainting. If they’re not taken to the hospital, it could be fatal.”

“Then give me some of that medicine when the time comes. If necessary, I’ll have Xiaoli administer it to them, and we’ll see if they still dare to follow me,” Yang Qingyin said, still sounding rather irate.

Speaking of the Ling Yang family conflict was somewhat of a downer. After discussing strategies for a while, they moved away from the topic.

Luo Ziling brought up the matter of outing photos: “Senior, although we returned early from our trip this time, I took plenty of photos and videos with my camera. How about we organize them and have a look together?”

“Of course, those photos are pretty good,” Yang Qingyin agreed without hesitation and then asked Luo Ziling, “Do you have a laptop?”

“A laptop?” Luo Ziling was taken aback, “You mean that thick notebook used for taking down notes? What for?”

“I mean a computer laptop,” Yang Qingyin was amused by Luo Ziling’s response, “for viewing photos. It’s not safe to store them in the camera, they’ll all be gone if it’s lost. Besides, you can archive and categorize them on a computer, and even do some special effects editing.”

“I don’t have a computer,” Luo Ziling appeared embarrassed, “I’ve never used electronic devices before coming to school. I don’t know how to use one.”

“Ha,” Yang Qingyin chuckled and then seriously looked at Luo Ziling, “How about senior sister teaches you how to use a computer?”

“I would love that!” Luo Ziling was overjoyed.

Yang Qingyin didn’t make fun of Luo Ziling for not knowing these things; she sincerely said, “Then when should I bring my laptop out, download the photos first, and then teach you how to use a computer?”

“When would that be?” Luo Ziling was filled with anticipation. Suddenly struck by an idea, he blurted out, “How about tonight?”

“Tonight?” Yang Qingyin was startled.

“Is anyone in your dorm tonight?” Luo Ziling asked this without any shyness.

He didn’t have any ulterior motives; Yang Qingyin had mentioned earlier that she would be the only one in her dormitory these days. If they wanted to meet secretly, they could go to her dormitory. But while she spoke without intention, his suggestion carried implications, and Yang Qingyin couldn’t help blushing when she heard him say it.

Being alone in a room, a man and a woman, it’s easy to imagine what might happen for anyone with a bit of experience.

There was already an intimate relationship between them; hand-holding, hugging, kissing had all happened.

Alone in a room, these things would definitely happen again.

If things heated up after that, it might lead to even further developments.

Even though Yang Qingyin felt good with Luo Ziling, she was not ready to accept anything more happening at this point.

However, eventually, Yang Qingyin nodded and answered, “Tonight, I’ll be the only one in our dormitory.”

“How about I come to your dorm?” Luo Ziling was immediately encouraged, “You go back first, I’ll sneak up, making sure no one finds out.” After thinking for a moment, he added, “I’ll go out and buy some night snacks. We can eat them together while looking at the photos, and then you can teach me how to use the computer. How does that sound?”

Yang Qingyin was somewhat tempted by Luo Ziling’s suggestion, and upon hearing his expectant voice asking “How does that sound?” her hesitation began to waver.

“Sounds good, then you go buy the snacks. I want to eat grilled oysters, and also Wanzhou grilled fish, and I really like the milk tea from the shop at the gate.”

“Okay, I’ll go buy them,” Luo Ziling said and immediately jumped down from the tree branch.
