The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 46

46 Hunting

Thunk!

“These are the crystals.” Jake handed a handful of crystals to Kyle. He grinned. “Hunting here is definitely more efficient than when we’re at the water channel. Not to mention, there are also no one else here.”

“That’s because it’s more dangerous here. If the beasts went on rampage and there’s a beast tide, no one will be able to protect us.” Kyle shook his head. “Get into the car and head to the nearby mountain, we’ll hunt there.”

“Got it.”

Jake got into the car happily.

Kate watched these three and wondered whether they liked hunting so much that they wanted to go there.

Oh well, she will just be the helper here.

Bang!

For the next few hours, they literally hunted every mutated animal they could find in the mountain nearby. This made Kate feel a bit pity for these animals. Whenever the three of them were tired, they would absorb the crystal and then continued their battle.

.....

It seemed that they didn’t care of the money loss from the used crystals they used for recovery and not advancing.

Tep!

Kate held one of the crystal with her paw, sensing that her body was allowing the transparent crystal to melt again.

“Meow...”

Was it because she advanced too fast before?

But she couldn’t confirm whether it was true or not as Kate didn’t know what she was supposed to do. This experience was new to her and countless other people, so they had to be patient while trying to discover just what was wrong with their advancement.

But honestly.

Kate didn’t know what else the method she was supposed to use to advance her ability.

After all, she didn’t use her ability to fight like those people who awakened other elemental ability and could fight day and night as long as they were not completely exhausted and couldn’t move.

Thunk!

“Here’s another pile. Keep them into your space, Little Kitty.” Jake was so excited when he see the mountain of crystals.

“Meow.”

Kate swayed her tail and moved these crystals into her space. Thankfully, it was possible for her to put them all at one go because it was categorized as one item when it was touching each other.

If she had to touch the crystal one by one, she would definitely feel like going crazy.

There were too many of them.

“You’re done?” Kyle walked out of the bush with his clothes stained with blood. He was also dragging several giant rabbits’ corpses that he handed to Kate. “Keep them in your space.”

“Meow.”

Kate swayed her tail and could sense that these body had entered her space. Thankfully, she could control the location within her space when she put items, so these items were all neatly placed within her space.

Well, not so neat that they were very orderly.

But neat enough for her.

Anyway, she will never want to mix the food with guns nor mixing the water that Dylan asked for her to bring with the gallons of water for drinking. She will also separate them by making sure that there were enough distance or by placing one in one corner and the others in other corner.

For some reason, she could ‘see’ her space anyway.

“Are you planning to eat them?” Jake was surprised.

“If they’re confirmed to be safe, they can be alternative for food. How long do you think it’ll be before orders is restored in the future and food chains resume normally?”
