The Tycoon's Odyssey

Chapter 145: 145:Taking Out His Pent Up Frustration

Evan moved fluidly, using a combination of punches and kicks to take down each opponent with precision. He ducked under another swing, grabbed a nearby metal pipe, and used it to knock another thug off balance. With a powerful swing, he connected with the man's side, sending him crashing into a pile of debris.

The remaining men, now visibly shaken, struggled to regroup.

One of them tried to rush Evan but was met with a solid punch that sent him sprawling to the floor. The final goon, seeing the odds stacked against him, hesitated before bolting for a nearby exit.

Evan pursued him, tackling the man before he could get too far and with a quick series of blows, he incapacitated the last thug and stood up, breathing heavily but focused.

The corridor was now littered with defeated goons, their groans and bellows filling the silence. Evan glanced around, making sure there were no more threats.

He then stormed into the upper room of the building, where he saw a man standing haughtily as if waiting for him.

The room was in disarray, with expensive furniture scattered around and broken glass shards from smashed vases littering the floor.

Evan's eyes locked on the man, a middle-aged figure with his hands folded behind his back.

The man gave him a sense of dread, and Evan made sure to check him.

[ Name: Roman

Skill: Advanced Fighting.

Impression:-10 ]

Roman, sharp in appearance, stood ready, though his face showed signs of nervousness.

This was the first time Evan was facing an opponent of advanced-level skill. Although he had practiced with Mac, it wasn't a proper fight as both of them would always hold back. But now, he could finally unleash himself like a beast without any shackles.

"What do you want to do? Who sent you here? I will pay double…no, triple the amount they paid," Roman offered, trying to stay composed.

Evan's eyes were cold. "I don't want to talk. I prefer to use my fists. Moreover, you won't understand. It's something personal."

"Don't lump with those assholes who want your life."

Roman's smirk faded into a grimace. "Fine."

He tried to pull out a gun from his waistband, but Evan was faster.

Having already anticipated such a scenario, Evan's hands moved even before Roman could draw out the gun. He grabbed a handful of hidden darts from under his sleeves and threw them directly at Roman's face while also jumping to the side in case Roman fired.

Instead of firing, Roman decided to dodge the incoming darts, but there was one that was too quick for him to avoid, so using his fast reflex he caught it only to realize that it was blunt, which made him chuckle.

"Kid, you threw..."

But before he could even finish his sentence, an electrifying sensation hit his entire body.

Roman staggered back, wiping his eyes, but before he could fully recover, Evan pressed a hidden button on his wrist again, sending an electric shock to jolt through Roman's body, causing him to momentarily freeze.

Evan seized the opportunity and launched a series of hard punches. His fists struck Roman's face and torso, sending him stumbling into a wooden cabinet. The cabinet splintered and collapsed as Roman crashed into it, scattering the pieces of wood and glass flying.

But much to Evan's shock, the bastard recovered quickly, and moved swiftly, his fists already flying towards Evan with a great speed even in the midst of Evan's attacks.

Instead of defending himself, the guy went straight for the offense.

Evan ducked and dodged thanks to his quick reflexes and could barely avoid the punches. The two collided with the furniture, sending the sofas and tables crashing against the walls while a glass coffee table shattered into pieces under their weight.

Roman shook off the shock and fought back with determination as he swung a wild punch, hitting Evan in the ribs, eliciting a wince from the fellow, but he quickly countered with a powerful uppercut, snapping Roman's head back.

Blood spattered as the man crashed into a broken lamp, shattering it into pieces.

The room had turned into a chaotic battlefield.

Evan and Roman grappled each other, slamming into furniture as they exchanged blows, each strike echoing through the room. A leather sofa was torn apart as they fought, its stuffing flying everywhere in the room.

Evan kicked a chair towards Roman, striking him squarely in the chest and sending him sprawling across the floor.

Roman scrambled to his feet before he grabbed a large piece of wood from the debris and swung it at Evan, hitting him on the shoulder and leaving a deep bruise.

Evan grimaced in pain but refused to back down. He tackled Roman, slamming him into the wall, which cracked under the impact.

The fight continued with the two fighting like savages.

Bloodied and battered, Roman threw another desperate punch, but to his dismay, Evan dodged and countered with a series of quick jabs, each punch landing with a sickening thud.

Soon Roman's face was covered in blood, and his clothes were torn and dirty.

Roman somehow managed to grab Evan's arm and twist it but Even responded with a powerful knee to Roman's stomach.

"GUAHH!"

Roman gasped, his breath coming in ragged gasps and despite his exhaustion, he tried to fight back, but his movements were now sluggish.

Evan, breathing heavily but still cold and focused, finally pinned Roman to the floor after the intense struggle.

Roman's face was bruised and swollen his eyes filled with fear as he looked up at Evan with desperation. "Alright, you've won. What now?" he croaked.

Evan's face remained emotionless as he stood over him. "This isn't over. But for now, you're done."

Ignoring Roman's pleas, Evan's anger flared up again.

"I have been quite frustrated lately and have been looking for a living dummy. And you serve the purpose quite well, buddy.."

He then began punching Roman's face with brutal force.

BANG!BANG!BANG!

Each of his punches landed with a loud thud, snapping Roman's head back with every blow. Blood flew from Roman's mouth while any of his attempts to shield himself were futile.

Roman's terror grew as he saw the relentless fury in the man's eyes. His eyes widened with terror, and he cried out in pain, but Evan continued to pummel him.

The room was a wreck, with furniture destroyed and debris scattered everywhere.

[Sir, stop…..]

[You will kill him….]

Just then, a loud voice emerged from Evan's hidden phone, snapping him out of his rage.

Finally, Evan stepped back and breathed heavily, his knuckles bloody and bruised.

Meanwhile, Roman lay on the floor, defeated and broken, his body trembled and the fear in his eyes was unmistakable as he stared at Evan, who loomed over him like an unstoppable storm.
