Chapter 114: Achievement Points

Chapter 114: Achievement Points

Now that Heinald is an official member, he has been assigned a house not far from the Potions Division building and given a special badge. This badge both represented his membership and stored Achievement Points.

For Revakender, a special area was reserved at the back of the hill where it could roam freely. The apprentice Ainsars would bring dozens of animals for it to eat every day.

Ruthas Academy's headquarters and division buildings were located at the top of the hill. The houses and various shops where the Ainsars lived were located on the slopes of the hill.

He was observing his surroundings closely as he walked down the stone road from the hill. To him, the architecture around this academy was better than any city he had ever seen.

Except for the academy's headquarters and division buildings, all the houses and shops were made from unpretentious but rather solid stones.

None of the houses and shops were adorned as if they were sacred places, and they were not luminous. On the contrary, they looked quite old, but that certainly didn't give them a bad look.

This place was definitely a legacy of thousands of years, and all of these buildings had gone through years of cherished experience. He liked the historical ambiance around Ruthas Academy.

When Heinald arrived in front of the house number 45, he opened the door with the key given to him. When he entered the house, he encountered a very simple design.

This house certainly looked like the stone house he spent his childhood in, but it was several times larger.

When Heinald looked around, he noticed that the floors and stairs were made entirely of quality wood.

The first place he saw as soon as he entered was a large sitting room. There was a large and comfortable-looking armchair and a few armchairs around. On the right side of the sitting room there was a rather large fireplace.

Apart from that, there were three empty rooms, a bathroom, a study room, and a large bedroom upstairs.

In the study room there was a large, rather heavy black wood desk and several bookcases. In the bedroom there were a large bed and closets. The window in the room was looking out the garden of the house.

Heinald took his alchemy tools and miscellaneous materials from the dimensional pocket of his robe and settled into his home.

He went to the Potions Division building in the late afternoon. Larten had called him to introduce him to the other members of the Potions Division.

When he arrived in front of the Potions Division building, he saw Larten giving some orders to the two Level 1 Ainsars.

When Larten saw him, he immediately walked over to him, "Oh! Here you are. Come, all the members are waiting for you inside."

Larten took him to a large hall on the first floor of the building. There were many chairs and many tables in the hall. It looked like a meeting room.

There were fifteen people inside, except for one Level 2 Ainsar, the rest were Level 1 Ainsars.

When they entered the room, everyone bowed to them.

"Hello comrade, my name is Gurlan." A middle-aged man with short messy hair came up to Heinald and held out his hand to him. This man had the energy waves of a Level 2 Ainsar.

"I'm glad to meet you!" Heinald shook his hand.

All of the Level 1 Ainsars introduced themselves in turn.

They had a pleasant meeting late that day and told him about their research and mission.

Naturally, everyone here had some resposibilities. Some were concerned with the care of plants, some with the removal of toxicity from plants, some with materials and alchemical tools.

They wanted to see Heinald's potion brewing abilities that day and had him prepare some mixtures.

As a result, they were all speechless and did not know what to say. He had succeeded in making mixtures in his first attempt that some of them had failed to do hundreds of times.

Heinald was in much better shape than he had been when he had come here years ago. His potion-brewing abilities and his knowledge of potions and herbs had increased hundreds of times compared to before.

Potion Division was required to deliver a certain amount of potions to the academy each month, and they would receive Achievement Points in return.

Their Achievement Points were distributed according to their workload. Of course, Larten and Gurlan, who brewed the potions, were getting the highest amount.

On the other hand, Achievement Points as well as the value of the materials they used for potions were deducted from their total Achievement Points.

However, regardless of the amount required by the academy, they could brew potions using their own resources and handed over the potions they brewed to the academy and get Achievement Points.

Heinald could have foreseen that in this situation, he would be able to obtain quite a large amount of Achievement Points. If he gave the Icysoul Potion to the academy, there would be a big mess and the academy would try every way to get the formula from him. He didn't want to mess with it, there were many types of potions he could make, and he knew he could gain a lot of Achievement Points just by brewing them.

Heinald went to the academy's headquarters the next day. Larten had given him a map showing parts of the academy's buildings. So he knew exactly where to go.

Once inside the building, he began to walk through a long corridor. He saw far fewer people inside than he expected. Except for a few Level 1 Ainsars and a Level 2 Ainsar, he saw no one.

When he reached the second floor, he stopped in front of a large iron door. When he knocked on it, the door opened by itself in a few seconds.

An old man sitting behind a large desk came into his vision. In front of this man was only a thick notebook and a pen.

Thep place behind this man was not visible due to some kind of formation. All you could see was the endless darkness.

This old man had short gray hair and a beard. He wore glasses that were large in proportion to his head, and he had a small hat on his head.

However, the important thing about this man was none of these, the important thing about him was that he was a Level 3 Ainsar.

"Sir Tynell!" When Heinald came before this man, he bowed. This old man was the person in charge of the academy's resources.

"Oh? I seem to remember you" Tynell narrowed his eyes and looked at him.

Heinald said, "Sir, I was a member of the team that went to the Starlight Realm years ago."

Tynell nodded slowly, "What did you come for?"

"There are some potions I want to deliver to the academy." Heinald replied.

Heinald delivered over a hundred potions he had stockpiled. After these potions were checked, an appraisal would be done. If he accepted the offer, the trade would be completed and he would earn Achievement Points.

The days began to pass quickly. He assisted the Ainsars in the Potion Division daily and began brewing potions. With his help, a lot of potions brewed with a low fail rate, which meant less Achievement Points would taken from them for ingredients at the end of this month's delivery.

Heinald could gain a lot of Achievement Points in a short time due to his ability to brew potions, but the required Achievement Points were also too high for the knowledge he wanted to gain.

Each of the ten books that he gave information about the techniques and formations he needed to know in order to craft a Protective Type Magical Treasure was worth ten thousand Achievement Points.

Heinald had sold nearly a hundred potions and had only 300 Achievement Points. In fact, he could have obtained technical information by breaking into pieces Hamra's pocket watch and trying to decipher the techniques and seals on it, but that would be foolish.

Heinald was going to use it for himself. It would be a big mistake to do such a move after waiting that long to get a Protective Type Magical Treasure.
