The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

Chapter 117: [Fate Weavers!]

"I can tell you one more thing but before that answer me this, Crowley. Have you ever heard the term, Fate Weavers?"

I looked at his confused expression. It didn't seem like he knew about it. And since he doesn't know about it, I don't think telling him anything about it would be helpful.

"Fate Weaver?" He asked.

"Yeah. It's something of a story so I don't know much in detail. But it's what I have heard from Adam when I asked him why he was in the tower," I started my explanation properly.

It was on a random morning when I was tasked to help Adam with something regarding an elf who lost her child in the forest. Since I was bored and I didn't have much to talk with, I asked him a simple question about how did he enter this tower? What was his purpose and what would he do if he were to get out of this tower? You know, like, random questions.

Given his carefree nature, I expected a simple answer or maybe make fun of me again as usual, but perhaps because he didn't mind telling me, he told me in bits about why he was in the tower.

He told me that outside this tower there exists a bunch of [Connections] or [Branches] that connect one planet to another. Those [Branches] have [Sub-Branches] and [Sub-Sub- Branches], with each holding a system of their own. Some Galaxies or some planet Systems, etc.

There were two things that one should keep in mind. One was the starting of those branches, the main branch, the [Planet of Zarraf!], which holds the central key to everything and the other was [Tower of Forbidden Path] that guides the [Players] to the [Planet of Zarraf!] from their native world.

According to Adam, this place holds the key to all the other [Sub-branches] and one can get anywhere they want as long as they have the power to control the tower itself. As for the [Planet of Zarraf], that's the place where the main source of the power of this tower comes from.

The story of Fate Weaver comes from the fact that there are said to be 10 individuals that have given the authority of determining the fate of Zarraf. The people who hold unimaginable powers that could break the rules of all the laws just as they see fit, letting them redefine the destiny of that planet.

Though whether the Fate Weavers would destroy the planet or save it is something that is up to them.

"Is that so?" Crowley observed me with a deep expression as he took all the information. And then pondering he asked,

"Was Adam a FateWeaver too? And also, the end point of the tower is [Planet of Zarraf]?"

"I don't know and I don't know. Adam never told me about that. And as for the end point, Adam told me that nobody except him was able to reach the final floor, so if people want to find out the answer to that, they would first need to reach the end of the tower themselves," I sighed as I got irritated a bit. Adam always left everyone with questions hanging that he never answers. Though since the information seemed to be too secret, I didn't pry too much into it.

"Thanks Nora. This is quite valuable information you just gave me," he spoke as he seemed to be thinking deep about something. His eyes were now looking at Risaliyah, standing at a distance, observing Crowley with a knowing smile on her face.

As if she were waiting for our conversation to end, she slowly started walking towards us. And reaching to us, she then observed Crowley, asking him,

"You seem to have a lot of questions for me."

"I do," Crowley answered her before he was about to ask her something but he stopped as Risaliyah continued,

"I can't tell you everything. I am cursed not to say a lot of things… but I can still tell you that all the things that Nora spoke are true."

"Wait?! You still remember me?" I asked out, surprised, while Risaliyah chuckled before speaking," Even though I can't see much, I never left my senses away from you. You are an important person, Nora. I can't afford to forget about you."

"Ah! Is that… so? Thank you," I spoke politely as I realized that she was going so far as to not forget about it. Despite her reasons, it made me happy that all the moments that we spent in the last few days didn't vanish into thin air again.

"Crowley. Don't worry too much about that Son of a b- Adam. Despite looking so strong, even he has rules and limitations. I can't tell you much but I will let you in with information I got from outside. Adam works under an organization 'Brothers of Salvation,' and without his leader's permission, he can't touch even a fly here. And I have met their leader once, and from what I have collected, that leader is a kind person. He took a life oath that he will personally kill any of his brothers if they harm anyone in the tower…. Unless of course you attack them first," Risaliyah spoke as she seemed to be proud of that fact.

"How strong are they? The Brothers of Salvation," I asked with concern while Crowley kept his silence.

"Don't know much about them other than the fact that they have a success rate of 100%. Plus, all the Gods of that planet respect and fear them. Although I haven't witnessed it with my own eyes, sources tell me that each of the brothers, including Adam, are strong enough to take on a Fate Weaver themselves. The Ones I have met other than the leader are Adam, Abraham, Falcon and Morpheus. They seem trustable from what I have collected."

Risaliyah's words made us turn silent once again. Though Crowley sighed as he looked at Risaliyah and spoke,"thanks, I guess. All I can understand from your words is that I need to be much stronger than I am right now, if I want to survive this tower and beyond that. Though I will keep your words in memory. Maybe not right now, but later they should be really helpful."

He then pondered about something before he spoke," you husba-"

"Don't!" Risaliyah shouted at Crowley, making him pause abruptly. His eyes were confused but Risaliyah spoke with a stern expression on her face,

"Don't take his name. If you do… my curse will activate once again! Even I can barely call out his name once every few days."

There was slight horror on her face, making me wonder just what kind of curse was that. It made me pity her a lot. Despite being in a similar condition as mine, her situation was far worse than mine.

Crowley was surprised but he calmed down as he heard Risaliyah's explanation.

"I… wasn't going to take his name. I was just thinking about the being that I am contracted with… maybe I can later talk to him and see if there is a way we can help you out as well?" Crowley spoke, making her sigh with a sad smile on her face, while her eyes looked rather hopeless as she observed Crowley.

"I… if you can get strong enough to do that, then maybe. But I don't think that is possible. Thank you for caring about me though," she spoke before Crowley nodded. I could see that he hadn't given up and was somehow determined to help her out. And I kind of pray that he succeeds.

"… it is the only way to save the two planets!!! So I command you all to follow what we have decided for you! Or else. There wouldn't be a single planet anyone to call home to!"

On the other hand, the Two Gods have finished with their speeches as well. Their words caught our attention, as we looked at them beaming with that golden light behind them. And then at the mesmerized Players and the natives of this planet.

"Most of the things you have said are done. What should we do next?" Balthazar appeared out of thin air as he looked at Crowley.

Crowley was about to speak before Balthazar looked at me, his eyes widened as he spoke,

"The soul of the first floor? You really are here, huh?"

Once again his words made me recall the cruel curse that I was born with. It made me sad, really.

"Don't make that face. I told you right? I will soon fix your problem as well. Just let me handle the current situation first," though Crowley gave me a bright smile, cheering me up. I nodded at him as I felt much better.

His eyes then looked at Balthazar as he continued," did you find that person that I asked you to?"

"Are you talking about the kids and the families of the Ghost Saintesses?" He asked and Crowley nodded. Balthazar pondered before continuing to speak,

"Yes, they should be meeting each other right now. Is that related to the whole situation about saving this planet?"

"Kind of. There were a couple of steps more though," Crowley spoke as he began checking his system. He seemed to be typing something, which made me curious really. Though perhaps because of that special being, I couldn't look at Crowley's System.

[You do not have the Authority to Look into the person's stats!]

'I am the soul of the first floor, yet my authority isn't higher than a player's, huh?'

I sighed as I then just kept observing Crowley doing something for a few moments. He kept mumbling how this was going to empty his pocket and how it's so overpriced, but in the end, he simply sighed before speaking,

"Well. Whatever."

And then…
