Chapter 248: My Youth (7)
Chapter 248: My Youth (7)
They didn't talk with each other after getting down from the bus. Both of them were stubborn enough, wanting to prove each other wrong.
Lu Weichun kept on contacting her boyfriend and despite the fact that Lu Xingyan still cared for her sister's well-being, she wanted to teach her a lesson. She can't just trust him blindingly just because he's her boyfriend. It was still annoying for Lu Xingyan how dense her sister is.
Days passed since then, Lu Xingyan has been avoiding Lu Weichun and she didn't stop her from seeing Fan Jingli since she knew that her sister is a stubborn girl.
She even stopped hanging out with her during lunch breaks but thanks to An Qi and friends, Lu Xingyan wasn't alone anymore.
Since Lu Weichun was such a lively girl, it was easy for her to make friends in her class.
Just like that, the two sisters stopped meddling with each other.
...
Inside an empty classroom, a guy was sitting on a desk with a girl in front of him. The girl was hugging the guy by his nape as she made out with him.
There weren't supposed to be any students anymore since the class has long ended but a girl stood in front of the door, watching the scene inside through the glass window of the door.
Tears brimmed on the girl's eyes. Betrayal and hurt were written all over her face.
In the next second, the girl opened the door with a loud bang, getting the attention of the couples inside.
Surprise was written all over the man's face when he saw the one who disrupted his make-out session.
"W-Weichun..."
"Fan Jingli, how dare you?!"
Lu Xingyan watched the scene unfold in front of her. She tried to stop her sister from attacking them but what surprised her was when she passed through her.
What was happening?
It only brought more confusion to her when she saw how the scenery changed. This time, she saw her sister, Lu Weichun on top of a bed, her hands tied together as Fan Jingli went on top of her.
"J-Jingli... N-no... No... Don't do this..." Lu Weichun's begging voice was heard. "Please..."
But Fan Jingli didn't budge, instead, he gave her a smirk, "You can't just break up with me, Weichun. I'm not even done with you yet."
"L-let's talk about this... Please-" But her words were cut off when he shut her out by forcing a kiss on her.
"NO! DON'T TOUCH HER!!!" Lu Xingyan rushed to them to stop them but she kept on passing through to them as if she was just a spirit that they couldn't hear or see.
What was happening? Why couldn't she stop them?!
She badly wanted to her sister. Her tears even began streaming down her eyes as she saw Fan Jingli taking off her elder sister's clothes.
It was until she heard a voice, calling her name that the scene in front of her disappeared and went dark.
Huh? Were's her sister? What happened?
"Xiao Xing..."
"... Xiao Xing."
"...up"
"Xingyan, wake up."
...
Lu Xingyan slowly opened her eyes just to see how blurry her sight was and how wet her cheeks felt.
She sat up, feeling all groggy. She wiped the tears from her face until she saw a hand, offering her a handkerchief.
"Are you alright?" A boy's gentle voice was heard beside her.
She turned her gaze to the boy who offered her the handkerchief only to see Han Yehan, sitting beside her with a worried look on his face.
"You looked like you had a nightmare."
"I... think I just did..." She accepted the handkerchief and used it to wipe cheeks dry, "Thanks..."
Even though it was just a dream, why did it felt like... it was real?
"What kind of nightmare did you have?"
"I can't... remember." Her nose twitched as she lied.
Han Yehan didn't know of that so he didn't ask more. "Well it was just a dream"
"Yeah..." After whining her tears, she looked at the handkerchief. "Um... I'll just give you back the handkerchief tomorrow after I wash it."
"By the way, have you fought with Lu Weichun?" Han Yehan couldn't help but ask.
They were currently inside the library. It was the only place where they get to be alone together.
Even though Lu Xingyan was friends with An Qi, Dai Meng, and Guo Yanni, she was still not trustful of them. They didn't have her full trust.
She didn't give him a glance when she replied, "I guess so." She continued reading the book that was in front of her, on the table before she wrote some of the important details in her notebook.
Han Yehan noticed that Lu Xingyan didn't really want to talk about it so he didn't pry any further.
It became quiet between them again until she finally spoke up again, this time, she turned to him, "Xiao Ye, have you tried going to the college campus of this school?"
"No, not really. I don't have anyone I know there."
"Thought so." She faced her book again but instead of reading, it looked like her mind was flying off somewhere.
"Hm. She might go and visit him there soon." She mumbled out loud.
"Who?" He asked in confusion.
She snapped out of her thoughts and looked at him, "Do you know someone in jiejie's class?"
Han Yehan may look like the anti-social type of guy but for the past years he had been in the school, he managed to have a few friends. "I know one person in her class."
"Can you ask him to secretly keep an eye on my sister?" No matter the discord between the twins, they were still sisters, and even if Lu Xingyan told her sister that she will not have her back anymore, she couldn't really do that, not after what she just dreamed of.
She will not allow Fan Jingli to lay a hand on her. She needed to keep an eye on him and to do that, she will have to go and check what kind of person he really is.
