Systemless in a Parallel World

Chapter 180 Normie Union

After he digested the last Soul Orb of the Giant King's body, Zayn was quite satisfied.

By now, his fourth Soulframe had been nourished by soul particles, filling a tenth of it. This progress was way too fast, but it was quite enjoyable to look at.

With almost 800 Spirits and his current rank, Zayn was bound to advance even faster. However, he had to find a good training area now that he was so powerful. He could send his Spirits out to hunt and train his newly acquired techniques in the meantime.

A plan was slowly forming in his mind before he recalled that he forgot something quite important.

'I should search the Normie Union first. They should be able to help me find out more about other Otherworldlers. Some of them should still be alive, such as Titan's Master.' Thinking about the Dragontale Twin Sabers' terrific might, Zayn smiled lightly.

He knew that the Giant King was defeated so easily mostly because of the compressed glacier slash. It may hurt his pride a little but without the Dragontale Twin Sabers Zayn would have had a much harder time defeating the Giant King.

'Keeping a low profile with my powers is a little annoying as well. Is it even necessary now?' Zayn wondered, feeling that it would be much easier to use his Army of Spirits to become stronger while training as well. However, he recalled the few oldies who lead the other Legions' camps and immediately changed his stance. 'There are still some stronger powerhouses so just a little bit longer?'

It was a little annoying but Zayn chose that it was better not to rush things and become stronger in the shadows. He could isolate himself in a forbidden zone once he finished his business with the Normie Union, become stronger, and see what the Blessed would do against him once he was strong enough to beat the shit out of them.

Right now, they were still stronger, but who said that this would be forever?

"Tower AI, I am ready to leave. Please teleport me outside the Cavern Tower of Casilian."

Now that he was done, there was no need to waste anymore time. He spent close to two months in the Cavern Tower, though it didn't feel that long to him.

A white light engulfed him and he was brought outside a moment later. The musty smell of the cavern hall reached him at once, and he turned around to face the Blessed and Normies of the Legion Camps.

"Huh? Where is everyone? Is nobody here to welcome me?" Zayn thought out loud. He was a little stupefied but began to chuckle after realization dawned on him.

"They must think that I'm dead."

He gave it a shrug, not really minding it. In fact, it might actually be better if everyone thought that he was dead.

At that moment, he heard something to his right.

A silent scream escaped Zayn's lips and he shot back a few steps. His eyes wide open and his heart beating wildly, he stared at the young woman with long silky hair cascading down her back like a black waterfall.

"Ah, shit! Don't do that!!" He shouted out in anger and embarrassment.

Without uttering any noises, the girl appeared next to him. Simultaneously, the Normie Union's business card began to feel like a handwarmer.

"Don't you think that you spent way too long inside the Tower? What did you do there? Play family with the Giants?" She asked teasingly and stuck her tongue out playfully.

Zayn stared at her, one hand above his heart while his other hand was instinctively on the hilt of one of the Dragontale Sabers.

"You're a member of the Normie Union, aren't you?" He asked in a serious tone.

"Hmm? Ah, yes, I am a member of the Normie Union. My name is Zelia, and I am shocked to see that your strength increased so much. Looks like the Cavern Tower of Casilian did you good!" Zelia said, still smiling brightly.

Zayn squinted his eyes and tilted his head a little.

"Can you tell me where the headquarters of the Normie Union is located, or how to contact them? I have some questions," He asked, ignoring Zelia's praises.

Her praises didn't seem sincere. Something about them made him feel like she was putting on a farce, and that was quite annoying.

Zelia stared straight in his clear ocean-blue eyes for a while before her smile widened even further.

"You don't seem to be easily distracted. Looks like you made it further in the Cavern Tower than I expected. You are stronger than I thought," She said nonchalantly, her presence changing slowly, "My grandfather told me to bring potential future powerhouses to the Normie Union, so I can bring you over if you're willing to tell me how far you made it in the Cavern Tower and what you received as a reward!"

Zelia licked her lips after she finished speaking. Her dark eyes sparkled brightly, but Zayn could only frown deeply. He didn't even think about revealing that he cleared the Tower, or that he received two high-grade techniques as a reward for sweeping through the Cavern Tower challenges.

Instead of fooling around, Zayn just stepped forward.

At the same time, he summoned the Giant King Spirit. The pressure inside the cavern hall intensified drastically and Zelia's smug expression distorted. Her eyes widened and her jaw hit the ground.

Zayn strode forward until his face was only centimeters away from hers. He snapped his fingers once and retrieved the Giant King Spirit at the same time.

"Don't fool around with people you cannot handle!" He whispered in her ear.

Zelia retreated instinctively. She was only a Soul Lord, and she could clearly tell that the Giant King Spirit could squash her easily.

Yet, the same being heeds Zayn's commands without a sign of resilience.

Her eyes quivered as she faced Zayn before she continued to step back as he moved forward. She stumbled over her own feet and fell on her butt. Zelia's eyes got teary but she tried to fight against the urge to cry.

Zayn halted in his tracks seeing Zelia's condition. However, he didn't have any intention to be a nice gentleman and help her up.

"Bring me to the Normie Union."
