Chapter 76: IX Prime King Palace
Chapter 76: IX Prime King Palace
As the passage of time flowed, day after day, the leaders of the large factions became worried and sent their people waiting outside.
These people were the elders who tried to explore these ruins to look for treasure the first time it appeared nine years ago.
They thought the entire exploration would not last more than a week, but three weeks had already passed. However, there was still no sign of their most notable elites.
This caused the elders of various factions to begin to worry.
For cultivators, one year was considered short, and three to five years were also not considered long compared to their life expectancy of at least two hundred years, if not because they did not know much or how dangerous this place could be, they they would not be so worried.
However, slowly, even they could not bear it any more. That's because the energy coming from the ruins was becoming more terrifying. The pressure it was giving was increasing in strength!
In each faction, several Great Elders joined forces to take turns in the Runic Formation in order to withstand the tremendous pressure.
At this moment, the entrance to the ruins slowly opened as the people from the faction could see dozens of people walking towards them.
Looking around, Aina was looking for Elijah in the crowd and she was worried when she realized that she was not among those who left the bad. Keith, did you see where Elijah went? I did not see him coming out of the ruins with us."
"You're right, I did not see you after the first trial. Even when we had to fight the magic puppets, he was not there with us, I think he's still in. But do not worry, he's not that weak." Keith looked at the elders of his faction who were a little far away and continued: "I realized something when I was on the test of illusion and I'm going to go looking for someone. If fate decide, we'll see each other again, goodbye." Without his faction noticing him, he simply walked to the opposite side and disappeared.
As Aina was thinking about Elijah, she inadvertently happened to glance at the huge entrance to the ruins. However, this glance made her feel like she has been struck by a bolt of lightning. she was completely stunned!
What What was going on?
Everyone around that area, was thinking the same thing as that they saw an unforgettable scene!
The entire ruins was half buried in the ground so they could not see how huge it was until the whole structure began to rise from the ground until it reached the sky. An enormous palace stood in the sky giving forth a majestic aura of sovereignty before disappearing in thin air.
...
After defeating the magic puppets, Elijah followed the path that led him to a tunnel, There was no barriers or doors just a strait path. This tunnel looked similar to the ones that led everyone into the primary hall, but this tunnel was longer, and there were no barriers or anything on the sides, it was just an ordinary tunnel.
After a while, Elijah reached the end of the tunnel where he found a large room, covered with inscriptions, panels, it seemed like some sort of control room. In the room, there was a golden throne where surrounding the throne stood one thousand life-like stone statues. They all had a humanoid shape. Most of them were brown stones and around forty of them were silver-white. Five statues were larger than the rest, and each of them stood three meters tall and shone with a golden light.
Following that, a cold female's voice echoed in Elijah's ears: "I moved the entire structure to where the seal is being attacked."
Elijah's eyes narrowed: "You are ?"
"I am the Prime King Palace's Artifact Spirit. At first I only wanted to choose someone to inherit this palace's treasures, but there's no time to waste. I know that the Void King's daughter, Yawen who had been lost long ago is your master. I also know that she gave you your special cultivation art. First i will give you a final test, after this i will decide if i should tell you the truth."
