Chapter 75: VIII Fate II
Chapter 75: VIII Fate II
Inside the training chamber, Elijah continued his solitary training life full of pain. In the blink of an eye, the test period is over.
Booom!
A huge explosion resounded as Elijah's body shone with black gold splendor as his eyes exhaled a silver-white light. Inside his body, a huge transformation was taking place, the power lake on a platform where the silvery white tower landed and the blood pill moved to the top of the tower, forming a strange resonance.
...
Two figures could be seen walking through an endless wilderness, it was a man carrying a woman's body on his back.
"Ell, leave me here. I have lost my divinity, there is nothing you can do." The woman'said with an hoarse voice as she spat out fresh blood.
"No! I couldn't protect Father and now that our entire family was exterminated. If I allowed you to die here, then I would have no right to call myself a man." Elijah comforted the woman while he continued to walk, step by step even if he didn't know how long before the two of them die in the wilderness.
For months, they passed through several cities where they saw that the killing had spread all over the continent. Winged beings fighting in the sky, Bodies falling everywhere, smell of blood not matter where you are. It was like he was in hell.
Trying to escape this, Elijah took the heavily wounded Chloe with him to the wilderness. There they found a small tribe that welcomed them and they managed to live for a few months until the day Chloe died.
In a small wooden bed, Chloe lay with a tired look. Her body was thin and there was nothing of the beauty that she was before, her face was old, her hair was white and all her vitality seemed to be near the end.
Looking at Chloe, who was about to die, Elijah could not help crying. After so many difficulties he passed, his face also did not reflect the good looks he had, his hair was gray while his face was full of scars, But his eyes burned with flames stronger than ever, even while he cried.
Raising her hand, Chloe caressed Elijah's face one last time, when a small green spark appeared on her fingers and merged with Elijah without him noticing. Then she gave the last breath of life as every light of life disappeared from her eyes.
"Chloe, I swear that I will become an god and take revenge for you." Elijah swore as he slowly closed Chloe's eyes.
Then when he stood up, the green light covered him all the scars on his body disappeared, his heart and body, weak from all the wounds he was slowly making stronger and stronger, every part of his body was rejuvenated by this green light. Everything within him seemed to be healing, his internal organs, bones, muscles, it was as if he had become a twenty-year-old again.
...
In the training chamber, Elijah opened his eyes full of tears. He finally advanced from the Supreme Refinement Realm and became a Supreme Master. In addition to the Elemental Energy and the Spiritual Force, he felt a Black-Gold vital power rising in his body.
"You are now at the next realm in your cultivation art, proceed to the next floor to test your powers." Elijah heard the cold voice once again while a door opened in the corner of the training chamber.
He looked at the door and saw that there was a staircase on the other side of the door, leading to a higher place.
At the bottom of the stairs, Elijah saw several blue and red puppets blocking his way.
As he took a step towards them, all the aura puppets exploded as one, and overwhelming pressure could be felt in the air, before the pressure proceeded to push Elijah, seeking to prevent him from moving forward.
"So this is the real test."
Elijah's eyes narrowed as he saw it and his body instantly moved. He was like lightning and dodged the aura sent by the puppets that was as powerful as a waterfall.
At this moment, Elijah seemed to have been separated from the outside world. He could feel that his mind had suddenly become much clearer, while the aura that looked like the puppets were focused on him seemed much slower. He could even see the small space between the particles in the air as he moved.
He paused for a moment as he lifted his fingers. Then his arm reached out and his fingers seemed to be like a spear. His fingers pierced the puppet as energy waves destroyed the other puppets with so much strength that even the walls and the floor had cracked.
Looking down to his hand, Elijah finally had the feeling he was getting close to his dreams.
