16 Chapter 16
"Hey!! Xavi!!"
His surroundings echoed with the sound of a soothing voice calling out to him.
Unsure of what he was doing, Xavier followed the voice. He didn't know where he was or what he was doing, but he knew that he was motionless on the floor, staring at a silver haired girl kneeling beside him.
The memory was too foggy for him to see her eyes or see her expression, he couldn't identify her.
"Don't die..!!I won't let you die!!!"
She bit into her arm, then poured a stream of blood down Xavier's throat.
No matter how much she poured down, the wound on his stomach wasn't disappearing. Xavier looked down and found a large gaping, see-through hole around his belly
'What am I... Doing here...?' He thought to himself.
Next, he heard a deep, rough voice, which wiped away all comfort from his ears.
"We must leave, young master. As you can see, a human is not fit to be with a Vampire."
A tall man's shadow loomed over Xavier as he turned to the right. For some reason, the man's expression was all he could clearly see.
It was an expression of disgust and disappointment. Although Xavier could not see any other features that indicated who he was, he would never forget that voice.
"No!! I won't leave him!!! If he won't drink the blood then I'll...!"
The girl suddenly leaned into Xavier's neck before biting into it.

Xavier's eyes widened as he awoke.
From the top of the young girl's lap, he turned his head to the right to scan the room before looking back at her.
A strand of silver hair hung over his head and exposed her beautiful face. Her face was the most innocent expression in the world as she breathed in and out slowly.
She was fast asleep.
Xavier took advantage of the opportunity to get a good look at her.
'The dream changed... Was that a recent memory? '
'Either way... I guess you could say I do know this girl...'
"It pisses me off, that I can't remember... I wonder why?" Xavier asked as he placed his palm on his face.
[Parts of the User's memory do not add up.]
[Hypothesis: User's memory was forcefully erased by an external factor.]
'Whoa, what a surprise.' Xavier remarked sarcastically.
The news didn't surprise Xavier at all. If vampires, supernatural abilities, and giant spheres causing never-ending rain were to suddenly appear, it wouldn't be outrageous to expect anything.
Suddenly, Xavier snapped out of his reverie before looking at the girl before him. Slowly, he extended his arm out to her cheeks and gently caressed it.
It was smooth and soft. As soon as he began to caress it, he couldn't stop. He began pinching and pulling at her puffy cheeks and slim jaw before eventually grabbing onto her soft small bottom lip.
'Now that I think about it... I don't know her name, do I?' Xavier questioned.
Surprised loomed over the girl's face as her eyes opened suddenly.
"Stwop pwushing mwy chweeks..." She complained with a drowsy expression.
'...Cute.'
"My bad," said Xavier as he let go.
*Sniff* *Sniff*
Suddenly, his nose caught the scent of something. It was blood.
There was a large amount coming from behind them and the sofa.
"Did you sleep w-"
Xavier stood up and looked behind them, interrupting the girl.
Numerous decapitated ghoul corpses filled the interior of the café, causing his eyes to widen. They followed the trail leading from the building out onto the street.
The furniture had all been cut into pieces simultaneously.
Xavier looked at the girl who was rubbing her slightly swollen cheeks slowly.
'She did this all by herself to keep me safe while I slept?'
She tilted her head to the side with a confused blush when she noticed his gaze.
"Xavi?" She called out. "What's wrong?"
Her eyes lit up as she realized what was going on.
"Oh~! Are you hungry again? Or... Maybe..."
"This is the thing called morning wood!"
"I heard something about male Vampire's waking up horny... As a good wife I must naturally help with this."
Her dress collar was lowered and she presented her neck to him; furthermore, she teasingly gestured that she could remove more if he wanted.
'...'
The expression on Xavier's face froze for a second before he stepped closer to her.
The closer he came, the harder her heart pounded. He eventually came right up to her face.
"See... I told you my sexy charm was iressis-"
The girl was interrupted as Xavier suddenly pinned her down against the sofa, before leaning over her neck.
'This cheeky girl... She really thinks she has me wrapped up around her palms, doesn't she?'
She could feel his heavy breaths pushing against her necks as he rested over it. With every puff, she slightly shivered. Her neck was sensitive.
[Skill: Gluttony is active.]
'...I'll just keep making use of it and growing stronger.'
[You experience a never-ending hunger.]
"What're you waiting for? I've recovered, drink up." Said the Vampire girl with blushing cheeks.
Xavier's deep lust and desire for her blood somehow excited her.

"So... What are we doing now?" The Girl asked as with a sluggish look as they walked out of the café.
Xavier looked better than ever.
They walked over the corpses without paying it any attention at all.
*BOOM!*
Soon after walking out, an explosion erupted in a few streets up north.
*BOOM!* *BOOM!*
Two more explosions followed.
He replied, "We'll split up.".
"Eh?" The girl let out in surprise as her eyes widened.
-
Xavier explained that splitting up would allow them to cover more distance and explore more areas of London.
Obviously, they would search London first, since it's big enough already, and it's unlikely the Vampire camp they'd be in would be far from where they were caught.
Xavier was praying on the fact that the camp was close, since the girl didn't know anything about vampire camps.
'Whether it is or not isn't the problem... If it isn't close, I can just die and try again from a different city next time. I don't care how many tries it takes...'
'I'll find-'
*Sniffle* *Sniffle*
He was interrupted by the quiet crying of his proclaimed vampire wife. No matter how much she tried to wipe her tears away, tears continued to well up in her eyes.
"What's wrong?" Xavier asked.
"It's just... I finally found you again.... And we barely got to see each other and are already splitting up... I know that it's too make things faster... And I know it's my fault for not knowing any camps... But I wanted to stay with you for longer..."
This clearly troubled Xavier. There would be no point in her following him since they would meet again whenever he died and he had planned on intentionally killing himself by the end of each day so that he could find leads and rewind time without wasting it.
In any case, he didn't want to tell her about rewind, as he wanted it to remain a secret.
He hadn't even confirmed that the new check point had been set. He could have died and had to start over from the Gym all over again. Something he did not want to go through.
"If that's the case... Give me your number. The Radio towers and power in the city isn't down yet. We'll exchange info through messages and if you feel lonely, call me..." He muttered before patting her head.
Her eyes gleamed.
