What is an Origin Heir? What is his heritage, and what is his name? With these questions in mind, Matthew opened the book in front of him.

-Many Heirs have been able to rise up and become what they desired, managing to inherit what belonged to them from birth. From Heirs of Clans to Heirs of different and enigmatic, widely powerful Legacies.

It is said that the Gods of the main Races were people who inherited, in some way, some lost legacy or perhaps something concerning the world, although this in itself is a falsehood; to that extent, the Heirs go.

Even the Gods have their respective Heirs, whom they arduously prepare for hundreds or thousands of years.

But among so many, Heirs sneaks in a peculiar, slightly strange, but amazing name.

The Heir of Origin.

Who is he? What is the Heir of Origin? What is his Inheritance, and what exactly is 'Origin'?

Among the existences of the world, he is possibly the most enigmatic. Among those studied by destiny: An Anomaly.

Someone different. Someone strange, unique, and ridiculously talented.

He is that Anomaly of Destiny.

Before so many titles he could receive, the doubt persists: What is the Origin he inherits?

An Origin is something that initiates; what initiates his inheritance? A race? Or several races? Perhaps it is the Origin of the Universe itself.

It is an enigma among universal existences, fear in the eyes of the Gods.

There is one existence that may fall within the characteristics of this whole description, and it is found in the Vampiric Race.

A brave young man of splendid bone structure and a quiet and reserved character. When your Fragments tremble, he has awakened.

Rejoice, a New Age is in Sight.

Matthew nodded slightly as he read this. It wasn't too much information, and it didn't answer the question he wanted to know, but it confirmed to him that other people might have known about him in the past. If this was written here, it meant that possibly there are people who already know about him.

So he should be a little more careful, although he honestly didn't care.

He put the book aside and started walking again to search for more books.

During his long walk, he found information about the prophecy of the new age, which was given 20 million years ago. Perhaps that new age was already here since the Battle for Supremacy occurred 10 million years ago. Still, nothing else was specified.

Subsequently, Matthew obtained several important books. Some of them discussed Immortality and the strangeness of its disappearance. These books were hidden behind Curses, so possibly, not many people were able to read them.

These books mentioned how Immortality had disappeared from one moment to the next, so the authors are possibly vampires from that era who were affected by this.

But nothing was recorded besides these places, and not everyone could see it; maybe that's why no one knew about it.

Matthew already knew the story behind it, so after reading the first book about it, he lost interest and decided to look at other things.

The strangeness of the world after the destruction of the sun and an apparent change in the laws that governed it was a little surprising, so it was not surprising that such things were recorded, but there was not so much detail in the books. They simply narrated different abstract ideas of some changes without going into so much detail.

He also found many books that provided extensive information about the Power System that ruled the world once he reached 150,000 power.

After reading so much, he realized several things. The first thing is that the 4 Universal Paths encompass all types of powers in the world. All Systems are based on the Universal Pathways, either directly or indirectly.

Because of that, he also discovered that one way to look at the Number System is to think of each number in the System as simply a further strengthening of his energy. It is not that there is a System based on Numbers; there is simply a System that strengthens the body's energy in numerically measurable amounts.

This also allows weak people, but with better energy control, to beat more powerful people. That is where what he read recently about abilities able to overcome the power scale comes in, as these can make the energy much purer when used.

Seeing this brought back many thoughts and memories for Matthew.

The first thing that came to his mind was Charlotte's ability to make the world a Chessboard. In the Earth System, this ability had a similar explanation regarding making energy much purer to use.

And it makes sense based on what he is reading. That ability allows Charlotte to surpass power milestones in amazing ways, to prevent affected people from being able to move, no matter how powerful they may be.

It also reminded him of his unique ability and icy power; somehow, the energy was always pure when he used it.

'Maybe they belong in that category?' he thought.

That would make a lot of sense, but in that case, his icy power would perhaps be among the lower strata of that kind of strange category since many of his abilities could be broken with enough power.

Still, that wasn't the most important thing about what he had discovered.

It was about something else, so he sat with his eyes closed, trying to train himself in control.

According to what he had recently read, numerical power was just energy enhancements. If such a theory was true, then now that his power has reached great heights, his inner energy must be enhanced in some way, be it in quality or power. The best way to see if that is real is to try to control his power.

Trying to exercise the 2nd part of the First Phase of the Path of Control: Controlling inner power for progressive empowerment.

If the numbers just meant an increase in the 'power' of his energy, then it would be much more difficult to control all his energy now. But if it turned out to be just an increase in the 'quality' of the energy, then it is possible that the difficulty would be elsewhere.

If, for some reason, it was the 'quality' option, then several things would have to change in his mind.

So, he quickly immersed himself in his training.

The energy in his body was in a state of tranquility and was not moving. Only a small amount seemed to surround his body, but most of it remained dormant while he was not using it.

He then began to try to move it gently through his body, slowly and progressively, bringing it out of its dormant state quickly. Even so, the first thing this energy did was move outward from his body.

So he had to be patient and try to get it in slowly into his body.

'The energy doesn't seem to be too aggressive. Only when I'm using it is a bit aggressive, but when it's inside, it seems quite passive and calm. The power increased, but not only that, but I also feel it's very pure. Isn't it an increase in power alone, but in power and quality?' he thought.

As he watched his energy move back and forth, he tried to deeply analyze and understand it.

The movement was sudden but also elegant. It was as if this one were walking through non-existent corridors.

'Maybe to achieve the 2nd level of the First Phase, I should create the corridors for the energy to move through?' Suddenly, something occurred to him.

Although it didn't tell him many things, it did connect with some of what he had read.

However, as long as he focused on what he wanted, somehow, it was difficult to control his power, but it really wasn't too much. As long as he had enough mental capacity to understand what he wanted to do, he could control all his power very well. But it only served him to attack and defend the outside. That didn't give him too many answers as to what he was looking for, though he thought it was because it wasn't just an increase in power but also in quality.

In the end, he sighed and got up to continue looking for information. He would leave the troublesome stuff for later.

More than three days had passed, and it was time for everyone to gather at the entrance. Unconsciously, they thought of leaving three days later, as the Forbidden Library was usually open that long.

However, in this case, they didn't come here just for that. They were being called by the people in the city.

"Lord Gray, Young Master, the nearby cities are in uproar. It is time to start settling the City of Clans, as we have also received messages from the Capitals of the different Kingdoms, and several Kings are asking for clarification of the situation and an explanation of what has happened." Gray stepped forward first and nodded to the man who spoke. "Which kings are in on this? They seem to have a lot of backing to demand an explanation when everyone saw the broadcast."

"The one leading them is Richter, sir. There's also the Blacksmith King, but he seems interested in other things."

Gray smiled. "Hmph, Becker then. Alright, I also think it's time to go out into the world and show what we're made of. Staying in the dark will make us prone to failure, as those guys also work from the dark." He said, looking at Matthew.

Matthew smiled.

"Fine, then let's do it." He replied.

He was pensive, though.

He was curious to know several things, but he was also interested to know how Charlotte was doing.

'With this, I'm making sure my name reaches you, Charlotte. The world is changing and heading in a different direction than we planned. I know that revenge we will complete, but now I learned that we must not be consumed by those desires for revenge, even if we want revenge. I wonder how I should view the race, then? But in that split second, there was a face, beautiful and dignified, frozen next to him.

Author: This chapter was difficult to write. I'm not at all happy with it, but I've spent most of the day on it, so I must post it now.

With this chapter, Volume 3 ends full of information after battling against the City of Clans. I was planning to give it a different ending, but I can't get what I'm thinking, to be good without extending it too much. So, I decided to leave aside everything I was planning and finish it at once to avoid falling into unnecessary filler.

Volume 4 will reveal several things that Matthew learned in these last chapters that have not been said because they are associated with very specific topics, such as empowerment.

Now, Volume 4 might be the most extended Volume of the novel, I will strive to get it right and improve.
