Please Stop Summoning Me!

Chapter 95: The “Abusive” Cat Incident

In the back room.

Shen Yi, completely oblivious to the impending turmoil that lurked not far away, changed into his pajamas laid on his soft bed as usual, but instead of going to close the eyes to sleep straight away, he folded his hand and prayed silently in his heart.

“I’m sure I’ll get a good night’s sleep. Don’t let anyone bother me. There will be no prayer tonight.”

Shen Yi has been feeling overwhelmed lately because of his busy life, but apart from that what made him worse was constantly being summoned and prayed for, which gave him a strong sense of working overtime.

It was okay for being summoned, because that trip couldn’t be in vain and he could get some ‘gift’ and also increase his power. But for listening to prayer …… He had the feeling of being an operator.

He gradually fell asleep with endless thought and no longer knew what was happening outside.

In the Cafe.

Coke stretched his cat’s paws and looked in the direction of the back room.

Once again the familiar scent of several extraterrestrial gods had begun to cycle back in and out, making it feel uncomfortable.

At times like this, Coke desperately wanted to go outside to get an air and even wanted to eat just the right amount of wild food, and so tonight he really did it.

After one more glance at the back room, he stretched his long lazy back, and slowly waddled over to the window and curled its tail around one of the chair legs, pulling the chair to the door amidst the sound of it scraping against the floor.

Letting go of his tail, he once again looked back, before easily jumped onto the chair, standing up and extending his small paw, gracefully popping out a claw tip. Gently insert the tip of the paw into the lock and twisted the paw.

In fact, Coke was very much loathed to use this kind of trick and just wanted to crash through the door and get out straightly.

But as thought of backroom he shook his head and decided to honestly open the door. Along with the “Click.” the door opened.

— —

Though the rain had stopped, the ground was still damp and wet.

Ennius hated a lot of things, like getting water on his shoes and people who were weak. He shook his head at the sight of slippery ground.

Therefore, he spared no expense in using an invisible technique to waste mysterious materials, so that he could insulate himself from the rain as he moved.

“Meow.”

Ennius was a little stunned and noticed an English-short blue-and-white cat approaching the alley calmly.

Looking at it Ennius eyes narrowed slightly, the creature he hated most was ‘Cat.’ It wasn’t that he thought they were bad, it was just that in his mind he thought it would be fun to make them afraid.

“Roll.”

He slowly spat out a word, and the cat passing next to him suddenly stood still, as if it had understood the word.

The next moment Ennius pupils shook and fell into the dilemma of whether he imagined things.

Because a very human like expression appeared on the cat’s face, a kind of “I’ll leave you alone for now”

How could this be possible?

He immediately shook his head.

The cat then paying no attention to him waddled into the alley without looking at him.

The corners of Ennius’ mouth turned up, and unable to suppress the tyrannical impulse within him, longing to hear a scream, he raised his right foot and kicked at the “innocent” cat. 𝙍А

To prevent the cat from dodging quickly, this kick was kicked very hard, very quickly.

Soon, Ennius’ expression cracked, and it countered to great pain.

The cat on the ground raised one of its front claws and held his shoe very easily.

Ennius clenched his teeth, felt pain on his feet. It was like just now what he kicked was not a cat but a stone or iron; it differed completely from what he was imagined.

Coke looked up, tilted his head, and stared at the man who had taken the initiative to provoke himself.

Ennius had always loved to abuse small animals, especially cats, giving fear to lower creatures and by terrorizing them, to gain very special gratification.

But he never expected that one day he could encounter this kind of situation.

Looking at the furred and meowing cute, yet weakly creature like anyone else he was also thought it was a “Cat.”

But the next moment, the unfolding event in front of him made his hair stood up.

The cat’s small body started to swell in an abnormally twisted way. The originally cute head “stretched” forward into a terrifying head, and the fur transformed into a hard red shell, with dense pores that were sometimes large and small hidden inside.

“Seed of Chaos?”

Ennius was horrified at this turn of even. He never ever in his wildest dream dreamt of his desire of messing with the little thing would lead to provoking such a powerful enemy!

As a person in the inner world, he knew ‘The Chaos Seed’ was the dependent of ‘Lord of Ashes’ with disaster level strength.

This kind of monster often comes into contact with the world that was about to perish.

Whenever the Lord of Ashes was going to destroys the world, he would first send this kind of monsters to disaster first. They would destroy the place to core in all environment and their vitality was extremely tenacious.

Even if they were killed in the process, they will resurrected again.

Though Ennius was a powerful wizard with the power of the upper distortion level, in front of the Chaos seed his strength was nothing mere than an ant at mercy.

However, his resourcefulness shone through in this moment of dire need, prompting him to act swiftly by extending his right arm, which adorned with intricate and peculiar black.

These lines held deep significance, rooted in the ancient heritage of the Salian family, as they concealed a potent spell inscribed in the form of a seal. This seal, a hidden legacy of his lineage, possessed the unique ability to “awaken” in moments of battle, enabling the rapid activation of his latent, unseen magic.

As the seconds tickled on and the battle raged on and the insurmountable threat of the Chaos seed loomed large, Ennius relied solemnly on this ancestral enchantment to unleash his invisible art with precision.

As he was reciting the spell, the Chao Seed on the side taking its form gloriously.

“Ancient Spirit that abides in the Beginning, the Lord that peers into the Infinite Source.”

“I will offer my fear as a sacrifice.”

“In your name.”

“I summon your hunting beast, the Hound of Obscurity.”

Amidst the tenseful atmosphere, the Chaos Seed transformation completed, it snapped open its massive mouth, following by the thick smell of blood its rows of teeth swriled inside.
