Chapter 213 - Ye Mings Sparring Partner
Chapter 213 - Ye Ming's Sparring Partner
Outside of the Nameless guild’s guild house, Ye Ming was doing some basic exercises to clear her head. However, no matter what she did, she still couldn’t get the lewd images of Xiao Fang out of her mind.
’Could they still be doing it?’ she thought.
She considered going back down there check, but after all the time that passed, she didn’t think they’d still be doing it. More lewd images popped into her mind, so she continued her exercise routine. Although it didn’t completely stop her mind from having wild thoughts, it was still better than nothing.
"Who are you?" A voice suddenly said.
Ye Ming jumped back like a startled cat, then immediately landed in a battle-ready position. However, when she saw who it was she eventually began to relax her form.
The girl that had sneaked up on her was short and seemed fairly young. More importantly, she had a guild name plate around her waist that read ’Nameless’ on it.
"You... could you be Fei Lin?" Ye Ming asked.
"Un," Xiao Hei nodded.
Ye Ming knew that there was one other member in the guild she still hadn’t met yet, but all this time she assumed she was the girl Xiao Fang was secretly sleeping with.
’If she’s Fei Lin, then who did Long Wang bring into the sect?’ Ye Ming thought.
"Hey, I asked you a question. Why haven’t you answered me yet?" Xiao Hei asked.
"Ah, my name Ye Ming, and I’m a new member of the guild."
"I see... so you’re a new member. Well, it’s nice to meet you Ye Ming. You seem to be in the middle of training, so I’ll leave you be. Let’s talk again when you have spare time," Xiao Hei said before walking away.
Although she looked like she was training, she was only doing it to distract her thoughts, even though it didn’t help all that much. Perhaps if she had someone to spar against, she would have an easier time forgetting about what she saw. It was at that moment that she remembered all the good things Elder Su Yun said about Xiao Hei.
’If she’s really as strong as Su Yun said, then perhaps she’d be a good sparring partner,’ Ye Ming thought.
Ye Ming didn’t really believe that Xiao Hei would be able to put up much of a fight against her, but she still felt like it was worth a shot.
"Fei Lin, wait."
Xiao Hei stopped walking then turned to face Ye Ming.
"What’s wrong?" Xiao Hei asked.
"Nothing. I just heard good things about you, so I thought maybe we could exchange some pointers together."
"You would like to exchange pointers with me?"
"Yes, I do."
"Mmm... but I don’t think I could learn anything from fighting you," Xiao Hei replied.
Ye Ming smiled bitterly from Xiao Hei’s words, thinking that perhaps it was too dark out for Xiao Hei to see the phoenix embroidered on her robes.
"I disagree. I believe I could teach you plenty."
In the next moment, Ye Ming made 3 clones then they all started running towards Xiao Hei. Ye Ming and her clones all had radiating spirit orbs hovering over their 2 fingers as they ran, but Xiao Hei didn’t seem threatened by it.
One by one, Ye Ming and her clones began to rain down spirit attacks on Xiao Hei, but Xiao Hei waited for the last moment to start running from her attacks.
Ye Ming wasn’t surprised that she dodged it, only that it took her so long to move. Again more spirit attack began to rain down on to Xiao Hei, but this time from different angles. Xiao Hei was trapped.
The attacks all hit, creating a cloud of dirt and dust to rise up.
Although her attacks weren’t too powerful, Ye Ming didn’t want to underestimate Xiao Hei. If Xiao Hei was weak then the attack she just used would be enough to end the fight, if not then she would be weakened to the point where the fight would still be in Ye Ming’s favor.
It seemed that the battle was over, but just in case, Ye Ming kept her senses sharp.
When the smoke cleared, Xiao Hei could be seen standing with her arms up protecting her head. There wasn’t a scratch on her body, but she was breathing heavily as if she was hurt.
"You’re going to have to do better than that if you want to beat me," Xiao Hei taunted.
A smile crept up on Ye Ming’s face then the spirit orbs that hovered over hers and her clones’ hands suddenly changed from yellow to red.
"It seems I won’t have to go easy on you after all," Ye Ming smirked.

Several minutes later, most of the trees had been completely destroyed from Ye Ming’s relentless attacks. Xiao Hei was still uninjured while Ye Ming was exhausted and frustrated. At this point, Ye Ming had completely forgotten about Xiao Fang. All she could think about was catching Xiao Hei.
’Dammit, she’s too quick. No matter what I do, she always manages to barely escape it,’ Ye Ming thought.
Despite how annoyed Ye Ming was, Xiao Hei seemed to be having fun. She enjoyed it when people chased her. Even if their intention was to hurt her.
"Is that it? You will have to do a lot better than that if you want to catch me," Xiao Hei said.
"Yeah, I think so too."
The look in Ye Ming’s eyes changed. It was clear that this wasn’t an ordinary fight, Xiao Hei never once fought back so Ye Ming felt like she was just teasing her the entire time. If there was one thing Xiao Hei was good at, it was pissing people off.
Ye Ming and her clones attacked again, and Xiao Hei playfully dodged everything that came at her, only this time Ye Ming formed a spirit knife in secret then threw it into the mix.
The spirit knife wasn’t just more powerful than any of her other techniques, it was also several times faster too. This was the cultivation method she had been practicing in secret, and she planned to use it under the cover of her clone’s barrage of attacks.
When the opportunity finally presented itself, Ye Ming used the spirit knife. The spirit knife reached Xiao Hei in an instant. She saw it coming, but it was already too late.
The knife cut cleanly through her body, then cut right into the Earth, traveling several meters under ground before disappearing into nothing.
’It hit!’ Ye Ming thought in joy.
Although it cut right through her, Ye Ming knew that Xiao Hei wouldn’t die from that attack.
"You are quick, I’ll give you that, but you are still just a Tiger-Class disciple after all," Ye Ming spoke as if she was Xiao Hei’s superior.
Xiao Hei didn’t seem to be in pain at all, instead she seemed to be smiling.
Considering that she had a hole in her stomach, Ye Ming found her smile strange. What happened next made her realize why.
Suddenly, Xiao Hei’s body began to disperse into a mist of qi.
’That... that can’t be. I’ve been watching her the whole time,’ Ye Ming thought.
She tried to think of a time when Xiao Hei could’ve made the switch, but the only time she could’ve done it was at the beginning when her attack made a cloud of dust.
’But even then, I didn’t see her trying to sneak away. Could she have used some sort of stealth technique?’ Ye Ming thought.
Either way, Xiao Hei’s real body was still out there, so Ye Ming tightened her guard.
"Not bad," Xiao Hei said.
As soon as she heard her voice, Ye Ming and her clones all turned to look in that direction. Up on a tree branch, Xiao Hei playfully swayed her little legs back and forth. Since she only used a single clone, she hadn’t even broken a sweat. Ye Ming on the other hand had already pushed herself past her limits.
"For a Phoenix-Class disciple, I’m surprised it took you so long to figure it out."
Irritated, Ye Ming used her knives again, but this time Xiao Hei stood up on the branch then disappeared before it could hit her. In the next moment, Xiao Hei appeared right in front of her, making her fall back on her butt.
Looking up at Xiao Hei from the ground gave Ye Ming the same feeling she had when she first met Xiao Fang. It was at that moment she realized that she was no match for her.
Suddenly, Xiao Hei and Ye Ming both heard a man clearing his throat, then turned their attention to him. The moment Xiao Hei saw the blindfolded man, her eyes widened in excitement. Ye Ming, on the other hand, suddenly began to blush as all of her erotic memories began to resurface.
"It seems you two finally met."
