Chapter 50 Spiritual Shock
She handed the scrolls to Rio and spoke, "Learn these both spells."
He was used to getting such things from her so he took both of the scrolls and put them on his lap as the portable table was full of bowls.
Lia brought out a needle to give him like last time.
He took it from her hand and pricked one of his left-hand fingers.
Two droplets of blood fell on both of the scrolls on his lap and started enveloping them entirely.
It suddenly moved upwards from his lap and floated in the air. It hovered in front of them before burning in red flames.
Rio wasn't surprised this time as it happened the same way with [Astral Recall Technique] Scroll.
An AI voice sounded in his mind as usual.
[You have acquired the Spiritual Shock Spell]
[You have acquired the Disguise Spell]
A stream of knowledge flooded his brain and text floated in front of him.
<<<<
[Spiritual Shock: Attacks the soul of Opponent. Those at the same stage or lower will faint and those at the higher stage will suffer from a stun effect (duration depends on the power gap). Mana: 20. Cooldown: 30 seconds.]
[Ancient Disguise: You can change the appearance of the body (Limited to Humanoid Form). Mana: 10]

He read the skills information and looked at Lia with questioning eyes for an explanation.
"[Spiritual Shock] will help you during your upcoming missions that Father is going to assign you. It will activate a human's AI watch to send them back to earth. This skill attacks the soul so the brain sends signals to the AI Watch that the body is in danger.
Security mechanism will activate instantly and teleport the human out of the land of Asura for a day at least since the damage was only done to their soul and they can recover it after a good sleep." She explained in a nonchalant voice.
Lia had tested this spell before so she knew this would help him. She wanted to make it easier for him as he would be facing his own race. Taking it slowly would be easier for him to handle the situation in the Long term.
She didn't want to force him to grow but developed slowly. Otherwise, she feared he would break internally or change into someone different.
"That's great…It will save me a lot of effort." Rio exclaimed in surprise.
He didn't think that deeply about her motive to give these scrolls to him. If he figure it out he would realize just how much she cared about him.
"Be careful though as It won't work on those whose strength is greater than yours. You might need to injure them first to make it work." Lia warned him as she didn't want him to get harmed.
"Got it but what about the second skill?" He asked with a curious gaze
"That's [Disguise] Spell. It will help you change your appearance to the one you want. You need another get-up that looks like an Asura.
You can't use your Devlin form or a human to use the teleport tower as our marriage isn't announced to the Empire." She explained but her voice wavered as she remembered She never went out of the castle together with Rio.
"Okay, but how does this work?" He asked and scratched his head with a bittersweet smile.
"Just use it you will know," Lia spoke with a gentle voice.
Rio walked to the dressing table which had a big mirror. He cast the spell by thinking about it and waited for any transformation but nothing happened.
"It doesn't work." He spoke with a doubtful tone as his eyebrows become scrunched.
"It won't work if you just cast it. Try imagining your hair as green then cast the spell." She giggled and moved towards him.
"Okay…" Rio said nervously.
He closed his eyes and started imagining himself with long green hair.
Unknown to him, a white fog covered his head before fading away.
He could feel his hair growing and coming down his shoulder. When Rio opened his eyes he saw green hair dropping down on his shoulder. A gentle smile came to accompany him on his face.
"Don't get happy just yet. You need to make a perfect Asura get-up that you will use outside the Empress Villa." Lia said from the side and took away his happy moment.
He nodded and closed his eyes again. He relaxed his mind to think carefully and remember all the Asuras he met so far.
'That Middle-aged Asura-Woman I met the first day? Nah. Guards? Nah. Emperor? Nah. Yami? Nah…Helia? Hmm…'
He found his target and smiled inwardly.
'If I take a similar appearance as her, people will think I'm her distant family member.'
After deciding who he would copy he started making changes to his appearance.
A white fog covered his head again and started twirling around his face which caused changes to happen.
His hair color became blonde and sea green eyes turned blood-red. His face changed a little and gained a warrior-like appearance but it didn't lose the charm he had before. He still looked handsome but seeing him one would think he had spent time on the battlefield for so long.
"You remind me of that man in your new Asura form." A surprised voice sounded beside him and Rio turned around to look at her.
"Who is 'that man'? Who are you talking about"? He raised his eyebrows and glanced at Lia to ask in a voice filled with jealousy.
