Chapter 4091: King's Attack

I defended against its claw and all its momentum and ready myself to retreat after the second attack when it did something unexpected.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

It opened its mouth and not to roar, but a dark, fiery missile came out of its mouth.

Seeing it, my heart shuddered.

This energy is dangerous, and there is a lot of it, in that attack. Enough to finish me two times

over.

It stayed there for a fraction of a second as the monster looked dead into my eyes before shooting its missile toward me.

It wasn't a long ago. I was thinking about using the shield for something unexpected.

Now, I am doing it and hope, that it will protect me against this powerful energy. BOOOOM!

A loud boom rang out as the missile crashed against my shield, hard. Lighting it like a sun, before spreading over it, entering inside.

Immediately, my armor lit up.

The runic tanks of ancient runes moved and pulled the energy inside them, before sending that energy into me. As it couldn't be kept contained.

I just wish I could expel it, but I couldn't do that either.

I tried with the small sample and let's just say, it didn't work as I had expected it to do. ROAAR!

It seemed to understand that its most powerful attack didn't work, but instead of retreating.

It came at me with the rage blazing, bringing out even greater black fire energy around its claws and targeting me with it.

CLANNNNG CLANNNN CLANNNNG!

I defended, but it attacked me again and again, with eyes looking at the blood leaking out of my mouth.

It knows it is injuring me and begins to focus on the physical attack.

I wanted to curse the bastard, but I continued to fight. It is the only thing I could do. Seeing, I couldn't pull the strings despite it covering it whole.

There is something I am trying to do. If I am managed, it will help me a lot with the monsters of this place.

There are some peculiarities with the monsters of this realm. If I am able to exploit them. Then dealing with them will become much easier, but it's far from easy.

If I am not careful, the monster might sense it, and bat shit crazy.

There is so much it could do, but I rather it would not, till I am ready. After that, no matter what it does, I will not fear it.

Seconds passed, and the battle continued. Its attacks kept injuring me, while I was trying to keep my injuries contained within the healing formation.

If the healing formation is using the resources, I have got from this realm.

There are too many such resources. They are really expensive outside. Once I returned, I was going to sell many of these resources to the organization.

I have heard about things, tor had in its vaults. I want a few things.

Just thinking about it, my heart gets excited.

I was thinking that when a soul wave returned to me. Immediately, my expression turned grave.

King!

The king was coming, and it was coming fast. I barely have a second to disappear before it will sense me.

I looked at the monster attacking me with its claws filled with powerful energies.

I have to deal with it to hide, but I can't.

I would have if I pulled the strings, but I became careless about trying something new. Now, there is no way I could kill it since the things I am trying to achieve aren't finished.

'It seemed like I have no choice,' I thought and activated that formation before pulling the monster hard into me.

It is a good thing; I had a sense of mind to use that formation on the list.

The formation activated, and sent a powerful soul attack into the mind, of the monster before it pulled the monster inside.

The monster shook, but it resisted, but I pulled it hard.

It struggled, but I poured more power and sent another mind attack, before pulling it with everything I have.

This time, it had finally entered inside me.

Seeing that, I didn't waste any time and jumped into the abode without wasting a second.

I entered inside and healed a sigh of relief, but only for a moment, before I felt the presence

of the king descending on the place, I had been fighting.

I had deactivated the balls. It would have been able to see through the isolation.

It is prime in all but name.

This way, I would be able to save those balls. Which I had spent a fortune crafting.

Cry!

Soon, it appeared above theme and its cray rang out, while its presence deepened.

I didn't do anything other than watch. I didn't send soul waves or any other things. I depend wholly on sensors that don't produce any fluctuation.

It kept watching when suddenly, the sighting began to swim across the wings of the bird.

It let out another cry before that lightning descended toward the ground.

Seeing that, my heart skipped the beat.

The attack is powerful.

While the defenses of the abode are powerful. Enough to withstand the strike of the prime, it

will make it discover.

So, I really hope, that the lightning bolts didn't strike the abode. Which, fortunately, is a few meters deep into the ground.

The bolts were so fast; it took less than a second for them to descend on the ground and strike

against it.

I felt them hit the ground before their massive power spread across it.

It didn't take long for it to reach my abode and strike it.

It reacted like a normal stone would. It melted, or rather, melted substance came out, while

the abode descended even further into the ground.

The abode bore it without getting discovered, but it is only first. More might come.

My abode needs to be ready.
