As John's vision came back in the graveyard, he once again checked his notifications and saw he had received a message from Alea.
[Silver Oracle: Morning John it's time to go shopping, let me know when you read this and you're logging out.]
[Vincarna: Morning thanks for the message I am logging out now]
John sent a reply before saying.
"Log out"
[Logging out thank you for playing Genesis.]
After John opened his eyes, he headed to the bathroom to grab a shower before wearing the same clothes for the third day in a row.
"Yeah, these are starting to smell, I should have at least washed them last night and left them to dry overnight." John said, reprimanding himself.
Just as he was grabbing a quick breakfast snack a knock came from his bedroom door and upon opening it, he saw Alea there in a dress smiling at him.
"Morning," She greeted.
"Morning, I am just making a breakfast snack. Would you like anything? John asked as he invited her in.
"No, I'm fine, thank you I already ate." Alea replied.
After a quick snack Alea led John to the teleport circle they used when they first arrived and after saying the spell they transported down to the bottom of the tree and out of the hollow where a car was waiting for them.
After climbing aboard, they drove for only a few minutes before they reached the heart of Asyath Serin where they disembarked.
Alea led John up some stairs that lead up into the trees and along walkways connecting the trees as two elf guards followed a little way behind and as they passed the citizens, they stopped to greet Alea by saying.
"Princess."
"Alea."
"Princess Alea."
All sorts of variations were used but they all showed respect and greeted her politely as Alea returned all their greetings in turn.
"Wow You really are popular." John said with a chuckle to which Alea smiled before responding.
"It's because we have always treated the citizens well, even though we are called royalty we never really cared much for the title and always treated our fellow elves as we would like to be treated."
After a few minutes they reached a large clothes shop that appeared to have several floors climbing up the side of the tree.
Upon entering a slight hush went over the crowd of shoppers inside before all the elves bowed slightly greeting Alea who smiled and greeted them back.
A male elf came over from somewhere in the shop before saying.
"Alea it's so good to welcome you back to my shop. It's been too long, how are you?"
"Ayduin it's only been a week or so, anyway let me introduce you, this is my friend John who needs a new wardrobe, John this is Ayduin Keabalar the owner of this shop 'in lantë quessë' (Translation: The Falling Feather)."
"Saesa omentien lle Ayduin Keabalar" (Translation: pleasure meeting you Ayduin Keabalar) John replied and as usual surprised the elves in the shop.
"Saesa omentien lle John" Ayduin replied with a smile before asking.
"So, tell me, you say you want a new wardrobe, what are we talking about?"
"Everything, the only clothes John currently owns are the ones on his back and he needs clothes for all occasions."
"My my my Alea it seems you have brought me a big customer; I hope you're not expecting a discount on your next purchase." Ayduin replied, laughing before continuing.
"Well John let's see what we can find you, do you have any particular style you're after, like what you are wearing?"
"Not really, honestly these are just ones I found one day, and they have served me well for a few years now."
"A few years?" Ayduin asked in surprise.
"Most people only keep their clothes a few months before tossing them away, which I might add is an insult to a designer like myself, the fact you keep yours a few years brings joy to a person who wants their creations to be well looked after."
"Well don't worry we will find you exactly what you need."
Ayduin led John and Alea around the shop introducing his wears.
"So, the majority of the clothes in the shop are made after the elf style since we are of course in Asyath Serin, however we do have a few designers of other races on the payroll."
"Let's see, over here we have the human designs which I am sure you will want to check out, over there are the Dwarf which we can of-course make to your size in you give us a few days, those are the Fairy no chance you're getting in those, these here are..."
And so it began, Ayduin showed John around the entire shop showing all the different racial styles of clothes they had, before showing him to the different types such as shirts, trousers, shoes, underwear, basically if it was clothing then 'in lantë quessë' had it.
John and Alea spent several hours in the shop as John tried on different sizes to find the right size he needed, before changing to styles of each type of clothing before finally they had successfully picked out a whole new wardrobe for John which in Ayduin said they would deliver up to the palace by the end of the day.
John of course has changed into a new set of clothes and had the old ones thrown away.
As John saw the bill he gaped at the cost before he slowly opened his banking app on his access bank to check his account hoping Alea was correct that the money owed him had indeed been transferred.
When he saw the amount in his bank, he froze in shock causing Alea to giggle loudly as Ayduin looked at him with worry concerned that something might be wrong.
"Alea is John alright?" Ayduin asked.
"Hehe don't worry he will be fine in a moment; he is just surprised about something that's all." Alea half explained
John stared in shock at the figure on his access band, it was roughly a quarter of a million credits.
Each continent had its own form of currency created back before the Genesis Agreement by the strongest of that continent.
The Human Race created credits on the Eastern continent.
The Dwarfs created Zathal in the Southern Continent.
The Orcs created Par for the Western Continent.
The Draconian created ulk'igh on the Northern Continent.
The Elves created telpë in the Central Continent.
