Flashback! (Go to chapter 53 for clarity.)

"Hey there beautiful, be a good girl and I won't send you to the gods, okay? Good, now, let's hae a chat about assassination, shall we?" Ha Joon said, his face only mere inches away from Sinex's terrified face."

"Y.. you won't get me to say anything! If you think you scare me, then you are very mistaken!" Sinex managed to speak, even though Ha Joon had pushed her head to the wall.

'Uhnn? Get a load of this girl!'

Ha Joon pulled his face even closer, "Do you want to die like I killed your friends? If you tell me everything you know, I won't turn you into meat spaghetti, I promise, on my dead dog groomer."

As Ha Joon spoke, Sinex felt something inside her twitch, like a sensation, one she got from looking directly into his eyes

Suddenly-

[The individuals you are fighting are linked to a different energy source, their magic circuit is being repaired as we speak. Warning: they cannot die as long as the connection is still being made.]

'Oh?'

Ha Joon looked to the side a bit, noticing the Scorpion, the one he had just killed, was gradually growing back his body parts.

'In other words, they are immortal.'

Looking even closer at Scorpion, an idea crossed his mind.

Grin!

He looked at Sinex.

"Sorry sweetheart, but daddy needs to take care of something. I'll take you to Merlin now."

Paa!

Ha Joon instantly smacked her at the back of her head, rendering her unconscious.

He gently placed her on the ground, before turning his attention to Scorpion's body parts.

'System, how many Endurance points do I have?' he asked.

[You currently have 550 Endurance points.]

'Perfect.'

Ha Joon settled on the ground, his legs and arms folded. your m,v,l,e,m,p,y,r story

'I overheard them talking about them meeting up with a goddess or so. I don't know exactly who she is, but if there's a goddess, and she's the one behind this, I need to make sure it's not more than I can handle.'

He placed his hand under his jaw, 'My skill Knowledge of the gods only works when I've been close to a god for a considerable amount of time, won't be all that helpful if she can one shot me before I could get any valuable knowledge. And then again, sneaking into their cult and running it from the inside out isn't such a bad idea.'

His eyes widened as yet another new idea occurred to him.

'Not bad…not bad at all. Question is, can I actually pull it off? I'm not that smart! Hahah, or maybe I am, I guess I won't know until I try.'

Ha Joon pulled out his phone from his pocket, and the first thing he did was enter his search engine and began researching cloning and doppelgangers.

It took him a couple of minutes, and then-

[You have gained the skill Cloning (Master)]

[This skill allows you to completely clone anything, including yourself.]

[You have gained the skill Double (Expert)]

[This skill allows one to mimic the looks of another being, taking their qualities.]

'Nice. Okay then, this is the best way for me to infiltrate their ranks and understand what's going on. The hell do they want me dead for? Actually, I didn't want me dead. They needed me alive… no use thinking about it, I'll find out soon.'

Ha Joon stood up from the ground.

"Clone." He voiced out with a calm voice, and almost instantly, another him leaped out from his body.

Ha Joon was a bit taken aback by it, standing in front of him, was an exact replica of himself.

"Yo sick! Looks exactly like me… damn… I look good though… i… I can probably sleep with myself."

Shirrr.

The sound of Scorpion's body parts completely coming together echoed and Ha Joon looked at him with a smile.

"Welcome to the land of the living my good man." He whispered.

Scorpion's face was hitched with fear, even though his upper body had fully healed, his lower body was still gathering, repairing itself.

"Come now, don't look so scared, you're going to hurt my feelings. Anyway, I need to borrow your body for a while. See, there's a chance you people can be dangerous, so I'm going to go undercover, destroy you guys from the inside out, can't have Camelot fall when it hasn't risen."

"W…what do you mean …borrow my body?"

Ha Joon simply smiled, moving his hand closer to Scorpion's face.

Ahhhh!

Scorpion screamed in agony, as his head got ripped off his body, Ha Joon had scanned his body and his face was now in his memory.

Using his newly acquired skills, Ha Joon cloned himself, and then used his clone to perfectly copy Scorpion's face and physique.

Once he had done that, he took Scorpion's body and buried it across the ground, and the calls of the canyon. That way, there was no way for his body parts to ever repair themselves.

With that settled, he allowed his double, which was now Scorpion, to stay behind with Zex, while he made his way back to Merlin and Mordred using his phone's map.

His other form, Scorpion, waited in the dry land for at least two days before he saw signs of Zex waking up.

But within those two days, he scanned the forest, and found more members of the cult.

He would firstly interrogate them calmly, but they would immediately pick on that he wasn't really Scorpion, and so, he had to kill them, and then bury their bodies on the ground.

Ha Joon's clone kept this up until not one of the cult in the forest remained, those that had managed to escape from Merlin's wrath were killed on the spot, and buried in the ground, so he could hide his identity.

It wasn't until the third day that Zex finally awakened with a newly made body.

He kept still, according to the little information he had been able to gather from the others he had killed, the rest of the cult would come for them soon, and that was what he was waiting for.

Even when Zex pleaded for him to go back and rescue Sinex– he wasn't interested, because deep down, all he wanted was to know their hideout, and work his way to the top.
