Chapter 106. The Cultivation Manuals That Has Been Ignored For More Than Five Chapters

While watching Berth and Renald argue back and forth, I heard a sudden question from Alicia. “System, recommend me a martial arts technique.” 

I thought for a moment before accepting her request and created several screens in front of her.

Although I only recommended three martial art techniques to Alicia, those three are the most special martial arts level techniques I have in my disposal. That specialness is also the reason for their sky high price. It’s definitely not because I am trying to profit from it. This is simply the law of equivalent exchange.

All three techniques are as special as the Body Tempering Technique. Anyway, I don’t need to introduce the Body Tempering Technique which Ren Qingquan has used. 

As for the Talentless Technique, it is something I found inside the hidden compartment of a book in the Pure Wave Sect’s library. Although having an uncouth name, it actually has a heaven defying function that allows everyone to practice martial arts. The only downside for this technique is that it directly ignored the existence of talent and forced anyone to have the same slow as snail training speed.

When I heard Alicia asked me to recommend a technique, I immediately thought of this one. Mainly because they planned to share the technique purchased from me to others in their group.

I suggested it after taking into account the fact that not every human has a talent in martial arts. If the common xianxia protagonists usually practiced some secret technique that slows down their cultivation speed but gives them a super solid foundation so they can smack some cannon fodder one stage above them and play the pig to eat a tiger.

Once she read the description from those three techniques, Alicia closed the screen and said, “I agree with the student council president’s plan. I’ve also found a suitable technique to practice.”

When she saw her words had gathered everyone’s attention, she continued. “Let’s go and collect some points the day after tomorrow. Today, I wish to rest for some time. It’s been extremely tiring to hunt zombies for more than a week straight.” 

She then pointed at the student council president. “You’ll need to come with me too and see the difference between our two systems.”

With Alicia’s decision, everyone left the classroom and prepared for another long week of zombie hunting.

I simply can’t fathom how the death energy density could increase on its own. It simply didn’t give any face to the law of energy conversions.

Those increases in death energy would also help strengthen the surrounding zombies. According to my calculation, if they continued to wander aimlessly like what they do currently. Around one week later, those zombies would begin to evolve en masse, with the strength of weaker zombies increased by a realm. 

At that time, zombies at the mortal level would’ve risen to Martial Apprentice level. Meanwhile, the zombies at Martial Apprentice level would rise to Martial Master level. Basically, any human gathering group without an awakened will be fucked real hard.

But, it’s not too important for me. A higher average level just means more effective point gathering speeds. Especially with Martial Grandmaster level Alicia holding the fort.

What raised my concern are those zombies that’s also at the Martial Grandmaster levels. Although rare, my [Scan] could detect around ten of them just within the 5 kilometers range limit of my [Scan]. 

I even pushed everything else and spent most of the day elongating my [Scan] to envelop more grounds. From a whole day of hard work at controlling my [Scan], I found around 20 zombies at Martial Grandmaster level. Five of them have reached the upper level of the Martial Grandmaster stage, which is around the same level as the current Alicia.

Around two weeks to a month later, five Martial Saint or Qi Refining stage zombies will be born. Meanwhile, on the human side within my [Scan] radius, only Alicia alone has the chance to catch after their level.

I could indeed help kill those zombies, but if they keep on leveling at such a speed. Eventually, the gain from handling those zombies myself won’t outweigh the cost of the points I spent to create the attack capable of killing them. Especially with how the lightning punishment of this world is incredibly weak.

While they are walking in the area they’ve cleaned from zombies, Alicia suddenly pauses upon seeing my warning.

I saw everyone paused when they heard Alicia suddenly talking to herself. 

Urghhh, even though they’re staring at Alicia and knew she was talking to me, I still felt a second hand embarrassment.
