Chapter 132: Chapter 132: Philosopher's Stone! Immortality!
With each swing he killed a couple of people and moved ahead.
"Please Spare us!!" The last remaining bunch fell to their knees with a despairing expression.
The leader who was confident in killing Noah was crying on his knees as he looked at Noah with Despair in his eyes.
He did not understand what went wrong, how could someone like him be able to kill so many of them without any change in expression.
How could he have miscalculated his strength.. This was just too monstrous. The calm look in the boy's eyes as he slaughtered their companions made him tremble in fear.
It was like the boy did not even see them as humans.
'No, it might actually be true! He could be a devil cultivator!' Before the man could think further, the boy spoke again.
"Why would I do that~ I didn't go through so much trouble gathering powerful dead bodies just to let my experiment subjects get away."
Noah titles his head while commenting with a mock innocent expression. His words made their souls tremble in fear.
"Monster!"
"Run for your lives."
"This boy Is the Devil!!!"
They all started running in different directions, hoping one of them might survive but Noah just smiled and snapped his fingers.
Three small illusionary swords moved out, killing them at the spot.
…
Using his qi Noah dragged all of the bodies in one place and looked at them with a calm expression.
"What will you do with them?"
Elysia came forward and asked with curiosity, she did not even bat an eye to the scene in front of her.
"Just keep looking~"
Noah smirked and did not answer her immediately instead he walked forward before making some hand seals.
*Thud*
Taking the furnace out of his soul space once again, Noah transferred all the bodies into it.
A huge seal appeared above the pile of the bodies.
*Woosh*
Elysia watched with curiosity as one by one each body started to get annihilated by the seal.
*Humm!*
With a hum the seal spun in actions dissolving the bodies into their liquid state.
All the bones, tendons, muscles and veins were dissolved into this alchemist liquid. Any normal human being would have been disgusted seeing the sight in front of them but Noah and Elysia did not seem much phased by it.
It was like they were just watching a good show happening in front of them.
Elysia was a little surprised by seeing the sight in front of her because she sensed that it was not just their bodies that were being refined, their souls were also being refined. the soul energy was crushed under the seals and used as a nourishment for the elixir to take shape.
Slowly the blood started to boil and spread, while disintegrating it into a thick paste.
As this process came to an end the seal suddenly glowed and it started to suck all of the impurities from this mixture.
The concoction started to crystallize and turn white as the impurities left it. Noah could see the amount of the materials reduce at a tremendous rate as the procedure continued.
Right now the bucket amount of blood has reduced to a measly amount of a cup.
Elysia's expression turned to that of surprise when she saw that the white compound suddenly started to transform again causing its size to reduce once more.
Noah did not say anything and just watched the process using his soul sense. He watched as the connections started to form within it.
The material soon formed the shape of a stone that shone in a golden line but the process did not end there.
It was the process of impurities, even the slightest traces of will in their souls that were left behind were exterminated along with the resentment that was left behind the souls.
'The perfection of the great work. This is the last and final step…' Noah thought as he watched red hues appearing on the surface of the golden yellow crystal.
Although this was not his first time connecting such an alchemy product, this was indeed his first time using QI for this.
Soon the glorious looking golden crystal turned into an ominous looking blood red drop.
The size of the thing did not even reach the grain of the rice.
"Is that a blood crystal?"
Elysia who came out of her shock could not help but ask with curiosity. She had seen many ways to form 'blood crystals' but none of them were as complicated as the one Noah had just used.
If anyone saw this scene they would have definitely called Noah a demonic cultivator.
The world of the cultivators was divided in two factions. One was the righteous cultivators and the other was demonic cultivators.
Demonic cultivators had demons in their name for a reason. It was not because they were related to demons of the legend but it was because of the nature of their cultivation path and techniques.
Since, most of their ways and techniques were inhumane and involved killing humans and beast alike they were called as such.
One of the most common ways for the demonic cultivators to increase their energy was using blood crystals.
Blood crystals were made using high amounts of blood and qi from either humans or beasts but since the quality of the human blood crystals was high many preferred this kind of crystals.
Due to this very reason, the righteous cultivators regarded the unorthodox faction or the demonic faction as their enemies.
No one wanted to be killed so that they would be used as resources and these cultivators did that so naturally they were regarded as the enemies of the world.
"Nope, although they might look alike, they are not similar.
This my dear Elysia is the key for me to gain a new body, a body that is better than any other.
The name of this little piece of stone is the…
Philosopher's Stone!"
Hearing Elysia's questions, Noah shook his head in disdain and explained it to her. How could a low level thing like the blood stone be compared to the legendary Philosopher's stone.
They were like heaven and earth! A mortal and an immortal!!
"The Philosopher's stone?"
Elysia could not help but tilt her head in confusion, showing that she had no knowledge of such a stone.
"Philosopher's stone is said to be the ultimate product of extreme alchemy from my world.
It was made by one of the wizards of the past who was at the end of his life. He was a dark wizard who killed many just to achieve his goal."
"What was his goal?"
Elysia's curiosity reached the peak, thinking about what kind of lofty goal could that person have.
Noah smiled wryly seeing the strange light of curiosity in her eyes. He momentarily forgot that she was into these kinds of stories.
Seeing her not being able to bear the suspense Noah continued,
"Eternal Life~"
