Florida Man in Magus World: Unleashing Liberty and Freedom

Chapter 187: Florida Man Sued by Jealous Fans for Feeding His Pet Snakes A5 Wagyu Meat Until They Get Sick

Felix arrived home at 4 AM and delivered the supply to Zen's group. The newcomers helped hauling the combat supplies to their temporary resource ground, where they piled up lumber, construction resources, and food supplies there.

After dropping off the girls, Felix turned to the useless automaton, asking it.

"If I ask you to drive back, do you think you can do it?"

The automaton smacked its chest and nodded with confidence.

Felix pursed his lips, not trusting the guy, "Are you sure you won't get bullied?"

The automaton repeatedly shook his head. Indeed, it was still traumatized by the muscular paladins.

Seeing its reaction, Felix made his decision. He ordered it, "Then, I want you to drive the truck back to Balicano City and wait for me. Can you do that?"

It repeatedly nodded this time.

Felix chose to take risks. He brought out the rest of the domestic automaton and fiddled with their AI, copying the data of the first guy to the other guys. He then sent all three automatons with three trucks, hoping to hasten the progress a little. After sending them off, he returned home to rest.

He didn't notice that one of them secretly picked some wildflowers near the Fate Plaza before it teleported to the ground.

Three automatons piloted M939 trucks northward, speeding through the rugged terrain with uncanny precision.

Following Felix's orders and mimicking his aggressive driving style, they tackled obstacles at a blinding 400 mph, barreling down the road like steel hurricanes. In just two hours, they reached the first refugee camp along the migration route.

As they approached the camp, the automatons slowed to a cautious 20 mph, taking note of the waking activity. It was early morning, and many civilians were already up, preparing to continue their journey south. Curious onlookers turned their heads to watch the strange vehicles, murmurs spreading through the camp.

Abruptly, all three trucks halted and reversed toward the camp's outskirts. The automatons scanned the crowd from their windows, analyzing the population. It was predominantly women, children, elders, and injured men. Not a single able-bodied man was present.

"EEE-OOO-EEE!" Automaton A emitted a mechanical signal, initiating a silent conversation.

"EEE-AAA-OOO-EEE!" Automaton B replied.

"AAA-EEE-OOO-EEE!" Automaton C confirmed.

Their internal processors quickly came to a consensus. All three stepped out of their vehicles.

However, their intimidating appearance triggered panic. Screams echoed as children clung to their mothers and women scattered in fear. Elderly men and the injured gathered crude weapons—sticks, pots, and rusted blades—forming a protective barrier in front of the others.

The commotion quickly drew the attention of the camp's escorting paladins and priestesses. Armed and ready, they rushed over to confront the strange intruders.

Automaton B and C hesitated as their AIs were not trained to handle this social escalation.

Automaton A, however, dimmed its glowing eyes and executed an unusual maneuver. From the truck's cab, it brought over a bundle of flowers, picked from the Fate Plaza. Approaching the largest and most intimidating paladin, a burly woman in golden plate armor, it offered the bouquet with an awkward bow.

"Huh?" The paladin froze, staring at the peculiar offering. Despite her confusion, she accepted the flowers, "Are you… wooing me, steel monster?"

The automaton paused as if processing the question, then nodded. To emphasize its sincerity, it created a heart shape with its hands and placed it over its chest.

Silence fell over the camp as everyone processed the surreal scene. Then, unexpectedly, the burly paladin broke into hearty laughter. "Hahaha! I get it! You're a golem, right? Your master must be our benefactor. What was his name again?"

Automaton A knelt down and wrote in the dirt.

FELIX ARIEL

"Felix Ariel?" The name resonated with one of the priestesses. Rosaline stepped forward. Her black robes shone in the morning light. She scrutinized the automaton before turning to the paladin.

"You say this golem is Felix Ariel's subordinate?"

The automaton nodded, answering the question for the paladin.

Rosaline's face lit up with recognition. "I know him! We took the Royal Magi Academy exams together. He was disqualified thanks to those conniving court officials. If not for that, we might have been classmates before the calamity struck."

Her words stirred nostalgia, though her thoughts veered into curiosity. Despite Felix's darker aura now, she remembered him as a bright and promising youth. She pondered how far he had fallen, wondering if her devotion to Goddess Eleanor could help redeem him.

She wanted the cheerful and naughty youth back. She wished to clean the lewd air of the new Felix.

Sensing something unnerving in Rosaline's demeanor, the automatons retreated slightly. Automaton A swiftly wrote a message on the ground.

FELIX SENT US TO TRANSPORT PEOPLE TO HIS LAND. WE ARE HERE TO HELP.

The paladins leaned in to read the message, nodding in approval. One of them addressed the automaton. "Steel golems, are you the coachmen of these steel carts?"

Automaton A nodded once more.

"Good. Let's start with the heavy luggage. If we can transfer it to these carts, it'll lighten our load and speed up the journey south."

The paladins sheathed their weapons and dispersed to inform the refugees of the unexpected aid. Slowly, trust began to replace fear, and the camp rallied to organize the supplies for transport.

.

The migration caravan's journey continued at 7. However, a few stayed behind to help load heavy luggage and elders to the back of the trucks.

They got 10 elderly women and 20 children cramming into the tight space along with their belongings on the first truck. The second and the third carried heavy luggage that was unnecessary for the trip, such as plundered gears from Brag Swan's dead soldiers, siege weapon parts, and arrows that they had prepared for a siege battle.

After finishing packing, the trucks left at 9. The first truck with Automaton A cruised at 100 mph, planning to reach the destination before evening. But for the second and the third truck, the automatons took the spirits of a certain tofu delivery driver, zooming back on another road, and avoiding the caravan.

At the same time, on Felix's floating island, the elder priestesses flew back with their flying carpets, planning to bring more people to the new land.

.

Felix got up at noon. He checked the farm sim progress, accepting their donations and returning their favor by dropping dragon meat to the family as usual.

Getting more spirit potatoes and seeds, he visited the system farmland at the east field.

Clover remained there as this place became her usual hangout place. She was busy digging a moat around another farmland other than the system farm to build an irrigation.

Seeing Clover, Felix called her.

"Clover, how are the farms?"

Clover looked back and noticed that the boss finally paid her a visit. Excited, she took off her clothes and dashed toward him.

However, Clover had no human legs. Relying on her roots and vines to walk, her running style looked like a giant centipede or a spider with a hundred legs, creeping at a breathtaking speed.

Felix got goosebumps seeing the vines and roots. As he failed to react, Clover hugged him and pulled him into her flower body. Then, she started kissing him.

"Master, I've missed you! Thank you so much for the dragon meat and the potatoes!"

"HOLD ON! CHILL, LADY! CHILL!" Felix yelled, stopping her from kissing his cheeks and lips.

They wrestled for five minutes before Felix managed to free himself from the bind.

Ignoring the sticky and slippery juice, produced by her sweat glands, Felix asked about the progress and checked his system menu.

The farm menu showed a 100 x 100 block grid map. Each block was a crop slot, which Felix could use to grow special plants. At the moment, all of them were occupied by spirit potatoes, and they were ready for harvest.

However, looking at the farm, Felix couldn't find any worker other than Clover. Not even a lamia loitered in this area.

Felix figured out the problem. He asked Clover, "Are you the only one who works here? Where are the others?"

Clover pursed his lips and pointed at the south, "Those Lamias? They're either hibernating or shredding skin again. Do you know that once a Lamia shreds her skin, they are so weak and hungry that they can eat a whole dragon? I bet this month's food supply should almost run out by now. Master, you probably need to refill their granary in a day or two."

"Dafuq?"

Felix scratched his head. Sometimes, he regretted taking in Lamias as they only cared about reproduction and messing around. Only when their livelihood was at stake, did they start working.

Frustrated by Lamia's lazy behavior, Felix called over Diana. However, a few minutes later, Jiji came in her place.

Jiji, confused by Felix's dark expression, rushed to Felix, "Master? What's wrong?"

Felix stated his business, "Can you head to the Lamia village and tell them to help Clover harvest the potatoes? She has been working alone for a while now."

"I see."

Jiji immediately slithered south, heading to the village of Lamia and beastmen.

10 minutes later, she returned with a new report.

It turned out that many lamias had eaten too much dragon meat and they could not digest all of them. Some were bedridden because of stomach aches while a few shredded skins evolved, adapting to the new staple meal.

Learning the issue, Felix gave a new order.

"Stop them from eating more dragon meat. I'll do something about it!"

Problems after problems arose as he became a landlord. It took effort and skills to please everybody.
