Chapter 380 - 380 Ancestral Deities
380 Ancestral Deities
Silver watched the fights taking place across the battlefield through the monitors with a calm look on his face. He nodded in approval of the performance of the others before he slowly rose to his feet.
The silver robes he put on fluttered in the wind and his eyes casually shifted to the distance.
“My brother is far stronger than any of us…. Currently, he is far stronger than Alex Briggs when he was a mortal… When he becomes a god we estimate he would be on par with Alex at the very least if not greater. He has lived so long, he has consumed all types of powers this world has to offer. So I ask, why was only one sent to stop him and three were sent my way?” Silver said casually but his words alerted every other person on board.
“You grossly underestimated his abilities… if I can take three, then he should be able to take five. Amongst the so-called mortal Gods, he is the strongest. Me included” Silver added as his eyes revealed a silver flash and hidden figures began appearing.
One was in a Danite body, the next was in the body of a shaman and the last was in the body of a deity clan lady.
The invading forces that have been invading the world turned out to be made up of a small population of every race in this world. It seemed these particular groups of races were personally handpicked by these gods to serve them and that is what they have been doing for millennials now. These people have attained the peak of technological breakthroughs in this universe and that’s why no one has been able to stand against them until today….
“We would have loved to take you on separately but we ancestral faction elders prefer to move together, and we decided you are the most suitable opponent,” the Ancient Storm god said in a calm tone.
These ancient beings were seven feet tall figures hidden in large black robes which covered their entire body. Their eyes seemed to give out different lights based on the elements they controlled.
“Heh! Foolish old men, you are simply hearing me, you are not listening… Danny Ainsworth may be the strongest member of the group but I’m the hardest to deal with. I won’t be easily defeated” Silver said with a naive smile on his face as his body drifted around as if he was standing on a hoverboard.
.....
“Do you really think you can fight us and protect these people? We found our way through your encirclement and defenses. We reached you, this means we can easily take your life. You seem to be unaware of your current situation” the ancestral destruction god said with cruel looks in his eyes but Silver only chuckled in response.
“You reached me? Cocky! You didn’t make it through my defenses, I let you in and since I let you in, I’m naturally confident I can protect these mortals around me… You are the one who seems to be oblivious to his current situation…. If you doubt me, try leaving” Silver said while his body hovered slightly over that of the enemy, and with a look of disdain in his eyes he peered down at the gods below.
“Even gods are mere pawns on my board”
You!
The ancestral destruction god bellowed furiously as fierce flames explode from his body, surging in all directions.
Heh!
Silver casually snapped his fingers and his silver aura exploded violently, forming spherical barriers around all the mortals on the ship!
Boom!
The explosion sent the silver spheres hurling back into space but even within it, they could see the indifferent, aloof figure dressed in silver robes, standing at the center of the chaos with a calm and collected look on his face as he stood amongst the enemies.
Absolute power!
Only one with confidence can act like this in such a situation!
“Watch closely for a glimpse of the power which couldn’t rival that of the man even I once called God” Silver’s tone was filled with sorrow as Alex’s image appeared in his eyes and his hands moved.
Boom!
Like a missile, he shot forward but also vanished at the same time.
Swoosh!
His figure appeared next to a deity who was still far from the direction he charged at.
Peng!
As if the deity was already expecting this, it met Silver’s attack with an open palm of his own!
It was the ancestral god of the storm!
Boom!
Silver energy burst forth but was almost instantly overwhelmed by fierce wind and lightning exploding from the palm of the old man.
Huh?
“Impressive… so this is the power of principality-level deities in the mortal realm? Not bad but not enough” Silver’s words were decisive just like the look in his eyes.
Hearing his words, the elder of the ancestral faction paled in fright. How can a mortal know the power rankings of the heavens?
That is unheard of!
Roar!
With fury in his heart, the ancestral storm god bellowed and fierce wind and lighting exploded from his body, manifesting in the form of a mighty cyclone in space which could easily dwarf planets!
Hahahahahahahahahaha!
Silver’s laughter rang in the heavens as his body remained unmoved in the presence of the mighty hurricane!
Peng!
Punching both fists together his eyes and body lit up with silver power as he grasped the empty space and slashed down casually.
“I call it, one shot one kills… a shabby name but it has never failed,” Silver said in a calm tone causing the world to tremble.
There were no loud noises, no fancy displays. Just share power tearing through reality, space, and time. The power which shouldn’t belong to this world!
That was the power, Silver Ainsworth wielded
Swish!
The entire hurricane and the ancestral storm god within were split in two effortlessly by a single attack but then Silver frowned and looked in that direction again. His eyes narrowed as he saw the severed body of the ancestral storm god fusing as if the wind was gathering.
“This will be a bit troublesome,” Silver said calmly.
