Blood Titan System

Chapter 35 Proving Strength

The red clothed girl stared with big eyes as she reached out to touch that incredible rare black pearl core with her hand before the blue robed young man stopped her immediately, "Nadja, I wouldn't touch it if I were you! Genetic Nucleus are condensed from the radioactive particles from the beast over many years. It is extremely radioactive and very toxic, even with your resistance to a radiative substance at level eight, your body might not be able to handle that much nuclear energy, causing you to mutate instantly if you touch it!"

The young girl instantly turned pale and took a step back in fright when she heard this.

The blue robed teenager took out a jewellery box made from special material put of his bag back and said: "This material can block the radiation from leaking, something that an iron box would not be able to safely contain." The boy then grabbed a glove from his pocket and placed the nucleus in the box.

By the dead beast, the twin brothers had already began to cut away parts of the beast's body parts before storing them into a camouflage silky leather compact bag.

After everything was done, the elder twin brother frowned: "Brother Clevel, we spent so much effort to kill this one beast. Back in that pool, we saw at least three beasts, one of which was extremely massive beast."

The red clothed girl suggested: "Perhaps we would go back and ask for help."

"What if other people get there first?" The elder twin frowned.

The teenager in black rolled his eyes, "How is that even possible? Thousand-beast Forbidden Forest is at least a few thousand miles long, and with its complex layout that connects to other places, it's incredibly rare to find another group."

The blue-clothed young man shook his head, "Didn't you guys notice? It's almost about time for the Violet-stalk plant to ripen."

"Hmm? What does that mean?" The red-clothed girl could not understand.

The young man in black looked a little bit distracted hearing this and

said: "This is a plant that had evolved from absorbing radioactive energy from the air over the years. Once the plant is ripe, beasts within a mile radius will be attracted and would come out to eat it."

The blue-clothed young man made up his mind, as he said in a low voice: "We can handle normal Toxic Iron-back Tiger beasts, but what if we meet the large one? It's certainly a rare quality beast that is definitely out of our league so let's give it up! Otherwise, there is a huge chance that we would all die."

Everyone fell silent reflecting on those words, it was definitely not worth losing their life over this.

"How about I tag along?"A casual voice drifted in their direction.

"Who are you?!" The teenager in black spun around, his heavy rod vibrating as he posed to attack.

Erian walked to them slowly with his arms raised."Calm down, calm down. I'm not here to steal anything. I was just walking past when I saw you guys."

The man in black sneered, "Just walking past? Lies! I'm pretty sure you heard our conversation!"

"Be calm." The blue robed young man gave him an annoyed look as he took a step forward, blocking the three men behind him. He asked: "Who are you? And what do you want? It seems like we haven't met."

Erian shrugged, " Of course we haven't met. My name is Blake and I'm a student of Iron-rock high-school back in Old Steel Village. I was out hunting out here when I heard your fight so I came to have a look. I mean no harm."

"I see." The blue robed young man did not doubt Erian. The mutated beast was quite strong, so it was quite probable for others to hear.

The young man in black observed Erian carefully, he sarcastically replied, "Did you say you come from Old Steel Village? You are quite far from home, aren't you? How can a weakling from the village help us with anything?"

Erian glanced at him and his eyes flashed a cold light, then said to the blue robed teenager: "If my guess is right, that large mutated beast should be roughly equivalent to a newly turned Titan which could be very hard to deal with, but I have a plan to control its movements. "

"Oh? What's that?" The red clothed girl seemed to be interested.

Erian knew that he would not be able to convince them if he did not prove at least some of his ability, so he took out his gloves. Seeing him clenching his fists, they all narrowed their eyes as they tightened their grips on their weapons in case he suddenly decided to attack them. Who could tell one's intention when faced with a poisonous pearl worth at least two thousand silvers.

Erian took a deep breath as he softly injected nuclear particles into the glove. A dull luminescence aura radiated as it glowed a grey colour.

The blue robed young man looked surprised, he said quietly, "A radioactive weapon! At least a mid-grade Prototype!"

How could they not be surprised? They were students of a fancy high school back in the town, and the best their money could get was a low-grade prototype with how expensive higher ones are. However, they are now seeing someone from a small village waving the weapon around as though it was nothing. How was he able to get such a prized possession?

Soon, various hidden expressions flashed in their eyes as they glanced at each other.

The blue cloth young man expression flashed as though his previous expression wasn't real and smiled softly. "We didn't know your background was this great, but it is still not enough to assure us of your strength."

"I'm also at level nine, I hope that's enough."

The black clothed young man sneered: "Hah, words are cheap. Do you think we of the town practice the same low-level basic practice technique as that of you villagers. To be honest, your practice technique the Rudimentary Cell Rejuvenating Technique is just trash compared to our basic training technique. Any level seven idiot from the town can beat your level nine expert from the village. That's reality!"
