Another Stupid Isekai

Chapter 922 T.D.O.N.B: S15C, Part VII - Outnumbered

There was something he could do, though. All he needed was to rise his hand towards the sky, summon the lightning strike, and unless his true power.

That's what he did. The bolt hit him immediately, and the whole area around him, in a perfect circle, was blasted by the sudden change of gravity.

It changed the layout of the city around, crushing what was left of the building. Pressing the rubble into the soil, and lowering the ground level by a few meters in the vicinity.

All the warriors, including Hailwic, suddenly found themselves being pressured by an incredibly strong force. Their weapons fell off their hands, and the three couldn't even move. She, though, was able to pick herself up groaning while pushing her muscles to the limit, utilizing the fury she had to tap into, to make herself strong enough.

She was barely able to get back on her feet. She grabbed the axe, then started slowly walking forward. Each step was a challenge. Rising her legs seemed borderline impossible, and dropping them down had a risk of breaking the bones. Despite all of that, she was adamant about finishing off the guardian who just pressured her so badly, that she almost lost.

He started to pick himself up too. He grabbed the bladed staff, which he carried towards his hand with the telekinetic ability, clearly to protect himself. Meanwhile, Martin was normally stepping forward, dragging the sphere of crushing gravity around himself, as he began closing the distance to his beloved.

Each step send tremors through the ground, as his own legs also had to fight with the force, which led to very heavy steps, but it seemed like he was either significantly stronger than the rest of the people around, or the influence on him was weaker, because he wasn't anywhere near as slow as the others. Still, running was out of the question.

Hailwic, finally in reach, struck the guardian from above. The power behind it was tremendous, as the gravity was working in her favor. He blocked the attack with the staff, but the blade of the axe slid forward because of its strange construction and was able to cut through his mask, leaving a nasty mark next to the eye.

He groaned, then pushed her with telekinetic force, making her fall on her back. She immediately tried to pick herself up, but that was not easy. She failed completely when the alien added his pressure to the gravitational one, pinning her down completely. It was an unbreakable stalemate for all five people involved. Only Martin was able to move, which indicated which side of the conflict was going to emerge victorious.

Further away, Will had his own problems. The ground below looked like a sword junkyard with all the weapons summoned by him, which fell down. He was busy holding up several mages, and two flying assholes who were really good at defending. Both had a large shield and a handaxe, could fly, and also used a wide variety of different types of unconventional protections like magical barriers and telekinetic ones. Not to mention the earth magic.

It was a frustrating battle since he could easily get rid of the spellcasters, not for the fact that each of his attacks was blocked, while the enemy could shoot at him at will.

At the current moment, he was fighting with his claymore with the two, as engaging them in a direct exchange at least prevented all the spells from flying at him. A few giant blades were embedded in the ground all over the place, forcing them to maneuver around. The humane warrior did his best to occasionally throw something at the mages, to keep them busy enough so they wouldn't escape.

He shot a beam of light directly from his hand at one of the guardians. Despite it being powerful enough to melt through a row of buildings, it smashed into the shield but was unable to go through. It didn't even make it hot.

- Fucking hell! - he cursed out of frustration.

He summoned another giant sword, falling from the sky, to cut him from the two annoying enemies in an attempt to get closer to the spellcasters, but the plan failed. The sword slammed right behind Will, blocking briefly one of the warriors, but the other was already flanking, so it didn't stop him at all. He engaged the human in an exchange, preventing him from closing the distance to the annoying magicians.

Suddenly a third asshole appeared. He had a shield and a lance. Was significantly bigger than the other guardians, and was wearing golden armor. He blasted by at an incredible speed, trying to pierce the human, but his weapon was deflected. Will sent a barrage of summoned swords after him, but they were unable to match the speed. Then he got his hands busy with the two protectors.

Just about when Martin was going to get close enough to strike, another opponent appeared. He crashed into the ground right in front of him, clearly not expecting the force of gravity to be as strong as it was, but despite that, he was able to keep himself on his feet.

the giant struck immediately with his morgenstern, to get rid of him, and open a path to the psychic laying flat a bit further, but to his surprise, the powerful attack was blocked by the sturdy shield.

The loud noise echoed terribly in the ears of those around, but despite all the deflected energy, no dust was able to rise. Simultaneously the lancer stretched his other hand with the weapon towards Hailwic, letting about a laser beam from the tip of his lance. It missed by a bit, cutting the ground right next to her hand, almost taking a couple of her fingers in the process.

She could feel the intense hear biting on the tips of her fingers which made her let out a loud hiss from her mouth.
