Volume 2 Chapter 78: Anvil Dropping Down

"Good work, everyone! I'm going to go now! Be safe!" Keith and the rest finished cleaning up. He and May returned to the estate.

And when they returned to the estate,

"Keith! Welcome home!" William and Sophia greeted him.

"Mmhmm! I'm home!" Keith had a big grin as he greeted them. He was brought to the living room, where everyone was.

Camelia questioned, "How was it, Keith?"

"It was amazing! I earned around four platinum coins today!" Keith answered with a proud smile.

"Four platinum?!" Everyone was surprised when they heard that. That was a lot of coins.

"Everything was sold out quickly," Keith rubbed his nose. It was not a surprise to earn so many coins.

"Hmm? Accounting for taxes and costs of using magic crystals, ingredients, and wages, it should be less." Lionel added.

"I calculated it. It should be around three platinum coins,"

"That's still a lot,"

"That's incredible, Keith." Camelia praised her grandson.

"Thank you! But I will wait a bit," It was only the first day. He didn't want to put too many expectations.

But he was content with what he had right now.

"Kid, I was thinking about putting a bakery at the academy," Cadmus stated.

"Also, one in the royal capital," Julius added. William glared at the two.

Didn't we say we weren't going to do that? Why are they bringing it up now?

"Oh! That's a great idea!" Keith clapped his hands. Having bakeries in two of the most popular locations was great. Cadmus and Julius's expressions brightened,

"When can it be built?"

"In a few years," Keith answered. When that was said, it was like an anvil dropping down on their heads!

"A few years?!" The two roared when they heard that. Camelia and Lionel were a little shocked as well. Despite saying Keith shouldn't make another bakery before, there was hesitation in their voice.

"Mmhmm! I need to focus on this bakery first! I have the most basic recipes I can think of. Before I expand, I want to put more ideas in and learn from the mistakes here!" Keith stated.

It has been a while since he opened a store. More so, a bakery at that. He needed to figure out what to improve before he ran two more!

"..." "..." Julius and Cadmus had nothing to say. His reasoning was too sound to retort to it!

"Hmm? What's the matter?" Keith looked down to see Carolyn tugging on his sleeve.

"Keith, can I get more bread?" She finished all of her bread. But she was still hungry.

"I think Gus should have some bread baked," Gus had the same recipes as the bakery. He should be able to do the same thing.

"Yay!" Carolyn waved her hand into the air.

"Aria, can you show her the way?" "Ho," "I'm coming with her!" Fira flew on Carolyn's shoulders. And like that, the three went to the kitchen.

"Maybe I should stay here," Cadmus stated.

This estate was filled with good food.

"Not happening. We have to return to the academy," Sohma stated.

"And miss all of this?!"

"Yes."

"Are you sure?! Because you were eating your egg salad sandwich so enthusiastically!" Cadmus saw Sohma's expression as he ate. He was happy about it as well.

"... We should still leave," Sohma was hesitant as he said this.

While the two argued, Eric asked, "Keith, you're planning to add new bread into the bakery?" He remembered what was said.

This bakery was in a testing phase.

"Mmhmm, I plan to add new types of bread. I'll probably do something like seasonal items or something." He had some ideas.

"That's it! I'm staying here!" Julius stated.

William frowned, "No, you're not."

"And miss out on these new bread?! Are you kidding me?!"

"Dear! You're a king! You shouldn't act like this!" Thalia couldn't believe he was acting like this.

"I'm staying! I'll retire from being a king!" Julius had a crazed expression as he said this.

"That's the right way, Julius! I'll retire as a principal as well!" Cadmus stated. He turned to Sohma,

"Sohma, you're the new principal. Good luck,"

"That is not how it works!" Sohma screamed.

"That is not happening." "Father, don't say things like that! You're causing a scene!" Thalia and James chewed out Julius.

Like that, there were two arguments happening.

"I'm back with bread! Eh?" Carolyn returned with Aria and Fira with bread in her hand. But she saw the scene.

"Don't worry about them. Anyways, I'm going to help prepare dinner," There was no point in staying here. Keith sighed as he walked to the kitchen. He will cook up a feast for today.
