Your Talent is Mine

Chapter 673: The Innate Blood Child!

TL: Etude

In the Cang Yu Realm.

Ye Tian sat with Lord Cang Yu, sipping tea and chatting leisurely.

As the Lord of Cang Yu, he had few hobbies. Having reached his current level, it was difficult to further enhance his strength through cultivation. Thus, he enjoyed tasting various teas to cultivate his mind and spirit, which kept him from feeling bored.

“Ye Tian, you want to resurrect your disciple Zhou Tian. I can indeed help you with that, but you must bring back the Blood of an Ancestral God from the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods. Kunwu Supreme should have mentioned this to you as well.

Now, let me tell you about some of the conditions inside the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods, so you won’t feel lost when you enter!” Lord Cang Yu explained.

“Alright,” Ye Tian responded.

“The Tomb of the Ancestral Gods is a divine tomb naturally formed by heaven and earth after the fall of the Ancestral Gods. It wasn’t built by the Ancestral Gods.

In fact, many people misunderstand, thinking that the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods was built by the Ancestral Gods before their death. This is actually incorrect!” Lord Cang Yu explained.

“Is that so?” Ye Tian was quite surprised. He had also believed that the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods was built by the Ancestral God before their death. He hadn’t expected it to be naturally formed.

Subsequently, Lord Cang Yu detailed the specific conditions of the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods to Ye Tian.

From his description, Ye Tian roughly understood the internal situation of the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods.

The inside of the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods was extremely dangerous, but there were primarily two types of danger.

The first danger came from the killing arrays within the tomb.

The Ancestral Gods were the first batch of Innate Deities of the universe, vastly different from the current Innate Deities. They were mostly deities skilled in killing. Although powerful, they were very brutal and frequently engaged in battles.

Because of this, the Ancestral Gods perished due to mutual slaughter. Otherwise, the Innate Deities would have had a say in the universe’s power structure.

Unfortunately, after the Ancestral Gods died, the Innate Deities in the universe declined. Though the Innate Deities of the Desolate Realm were powerful, their strength relied on the unique nature of the Desolate Realm. Outside of the Desolate Realm, these Innate Deities were weaklings compared to the various races of the universe.

Therefore, the naturally formed Tomb of the Ancestral Gods contained many killing arrays styled after the Ancestral Gods’ combat techniques.

These killing arrays were extremely powerful, capable of killing ordinary Universal Gods. Any ordinary Galaxy-level being entering them had no chance of survival. The second danger was the Innate Blood Child! The Innate Blood Child wasn’t an Innate Deity, but a special creature born from the corpse of an Ancestral God, possessing the bloodline power of the Ancestral Gods, similar to their descendants.

Though the Innate Blood Child didn’t inherit the Ancestral Gods’ talents, they did inherit their brutality and love of slaughter, showing no mercy to those entering the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods.

In another sense, the Innate Blood Child could be considered guardians of the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods! The crucial issue was that while the Innate Blood Child’s talents weren’t exceptional, it didn’t mean no highly talented ones emerged over the ages.

“Ye Tian, in the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods I know of, there are several Universal God-level Blood Children. Although their cultivation is high, their wisdom is low, and they lack any heritage, making their combat power weaker than cultivators.

With your combat strength, you should not fear Universal God-level Innate Blood Children.

But if there are Dominator-level Innate Blood Children, you must be careful. Even if their wisdom is low and they haven’t cultivated any ultimate techniques or secret arts, their combat power would still rival the top-tier Universal Gods of the human race!” Lord Cang Yu reminded. Р

“I understand,” Ye Tian replied.

Internally, he felt relieved. Those Innate Blood Children lacked wisdom and heritage, making them a weak clan. Such a group had cultivation but couldn’t fully exhibit their combat power, posing no significant threat.

Of course.

He wouldn’t boast about his prowess to Lord Cang Yu, as that would expose his strength, which wasn’t advisable. Hence, he responded modestly to Lord Cang Yu.

“Ye Tian, take a few days to rest. Then, I will take you to the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods.

If you bring back the Blood of an Ancestral God, the great opportunity I grant you will not disappoint! But if you fail to complete the task, I won’t give you anything, nor will I help you resurrect Zhou Tian!” Lord Cang Yu stated firmly.

“Lord Cang Yu, I understand the agreement. Rest assured,” Ye Tian assured him.

In the following days, Ye Tian rested in Cang Yu.

Three days later.

Lord Cang Yu took Ye Tian to the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods!

After traveling swiftly with Lord Cang Yu, Ye Tian finally arrived at a star river.

The star river, located in the starry sky, was a relatively common type of river.

“This is the place!” Lord Cang Yu pointed to the star river and said, “A Tomb of the Ancestral Gods was born in this star river. Many ages ago, this tomb was well-known, and many beings below the level of Universal Gods tried to enter it, but most perished inside. Only a very few managed to come out alive.

Some claimed to have seen the Blood of an Ancestral God, but unfortunately, they weren’t strong enough to retrieve it.”

“The information should be true, but it won’t be easy to find. Be careful!”

“Understood!” Ye Tian nodded.

Soon, Ye Tian and Lord Cang Yu entered the star river.

They quickly arrived at a certain area of the star river and saw a barrier.

“This is the barrier of the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods. It’s difficult for ordinary people to break through. Let me handle it!” Lord Cang Yu easily tore open the barrier and led Ye Tian inside.

Once inside the barrier, Ye Tian finally saw an incredibly majestic divine tomb.

In front of the tomb stood a towering statue of an Ancestral God, resembling a human but with a pair of sharp horns on its forehead and much larger eyes than humans.

“This is the Silver-Horned Ancestral God. Among the Ancestral Gods, he ranked in the top ten, far more powerful than I am. Unfortunately, even such a powerful Ancestral God still perished!” Lord Cang Yu lamented.

Without dwelling too much on his emotions, Lord Cang Yu brought Ye Tian to the tomb’s entrance and pointed to the tombstone. “This tombstone is the entrance to the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods. I will open it to let you in.

This is a sensor. When you want to leave, come to the entrance and use the sensor to contact me. I will open the tomb to let you out. Otherwise, it will be troublesome for you to get out on your own.”

Ye Tian took the sensor and replied, “Lord Cang Yu, I understand!”

Immediately, Lord Cang Yu opened the tomb’s entrance, and Ye Tian flew inside.

Watching Ye Tian disappear, Lord Cang Yu murmured, “Ye Tian, I hope you succeed. My hope of advancing further depends on you!”

In the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods.

Ye Tian swiftly traversed the boundary of the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods and arrived at the entrance path. Behind him was a stone door, presumably the entrance and exit connected to the outside tombstone.

Without lingering, Ye Tian continued forward.

This was just the entrance, likely not very dangerous. The real dangers lay deeper inside.

The killing arrays and the Innate Blood Children posed significant threats. The killing arrays were relatively simpler since they were fixed in place. Even if encountered, there was hope of breaking through or escaping.

However, encountering an Innate Blood Child would almost certainly lead to a fight. In unfamiliar territory like the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods, it would be challenging to evade them.

After walking a short distance along the tomb path, Ye Tian suddenly entered an array formation.

Boom! Terrifying beams of death energy shot towards him, attempting to pierce and tear him into nothingness.

However.

Ye Tian activated his defenses and spatial barrier, along with the Five Elements Divine Wheel, effortlessly protecting himself. No matter how terrifying the beams were, they couldn’t penetrate his defenses.

“Break!” Ye Tian charged out of the killing array, easily breaking through it.

“Interesting, this killing array’s power is decent. It could basically kill top-tier Galaxy-level beings and even threaten weaker Universal Gods!” Ye Tian remarked.

But such formations were useless against him. He was too powerful, and these formations were too weak to threaten him.

As he continued, Ye Tian encountered one killing array after another. Some were weak, while others had considerable power, making him take them slightly more seriously.

Finally, after passing through numerous areas, Ye Tian arrived at the central region of the Tomb of the Ancestral Gods.

Upon stepping into the central area, Ye Tian sensed an unusual atmosphere, as if something was approaching.

“Could it be…?” Ye Tian speculated.

Sure enough.

Soon, a blood-soaked humanoid creature charged towards Ye Tian.

“Copy talent, scan!” Ye Tian used his copying talent, instantly learning the humanoid creature’s talent situation.

Species: Innate Blood Child

Bloodline Talent: Desolate-level

Strength Talent: Top-level

Defense Talent: High-level

Speed Talent: Pseudo-Mystic-level

Absorption Talent: Mystic-level

Immortality Talent: Intermediate

Blood Wing Talent: High-level

Based on the talents, this humanoid creature’s abilities were quite average.

In the human race, a person with Desolate-level cultivation talent would be highly valued by some sects, their talents far from mediocre.

This showed that the survival environment of these Innate Blood Children was poor, lacking heritage, and their combat abilities were indeed ordinary.

The Innate Blood Child couldn’t recognize Ye Tian and naturally didn’t fear him, charging at him recklessly.

With a wave of his hand, Ye Tian used spatial power to imprison the creature. Then, with a slight clench of his fist, the Innate Blood Child was crushed into a cloud of blood mist.

Ye Tian had effortlessly killed the Innate Blood Child!
