X-Rank Hunter

Chapter 80: Come Back In Me!

Chapter 80: Come Back In Me!

After giving the Bear King a satisfying name, Jim told Batik to hurry up and enter his body. On the other hand, Batik was really confused. He was so big compared to his master, how could he enter in him? He might smash his master into a meat paste before he could even enter.

In the end, as his confusion was getting stronger, and his master was getting more and more impatient, Batik could only ask, "How?"

"Huh? You don't know?" Jim doubted.

"How will I know?"

Indeed, how could he know? Jim also just realized this simple fact. Even he and his Tree-Merger Apes wouldn't be able to learn about this if the apes didn't die at the hands of his younger brother.

Jim could tell that a while ago, all his Tree-Merger Apes celebrated the fact that they didn't actually die and only returned to their master. From that, Jim realized that the Tree-Merger Apes also just realized that they could actually go to their master's body and wouldn't die that easily.

"Fine, let me show you." Jim then turned his gaze to all the Tree-Merger Apes around with his eyes gleaming in anticipation. A while ago, he'd summoned all of them just to showcase his strength in front of the bear. He didn't think that even after he displayed his strength, the Bear King still wouldn't accept him as his master.

Well, that was still within his expectation. And also, he would still turn the other party into a dry corpse even if the other party chose to accept him as his master. The point was to test his thought. Even if he failed, at least he tried. After all, his mind wouldn't calm down if he didn't do anything.

"All of you come back!" Jim commanded authoritatively.

The Tree-Merger Apes knew what their master was talking about. But the problem was...

They looked at one another and then shrugged their shoulders, as it appeared that they were also trying to figure out how to.

Jim frowned in displeasure when he saw them being like. He was also somewhat confused.

Do they really not know how to come back to my body? They just need to turn themselves into beads of blood, is it really that difficult?

Or do I really need to resort to killing in order to turn them into beads of blood and get them all at once?

Sensing the killing intent coming from their master, the Tree-Merger Apes shuddered in fear. They really didn't know how to! They only managed to do it after they died! Was their master really going to kill them? The apes hoped that that wasn't the case. Though they were sure that they wouldn't actually die, it was still painful!

"Tsk tsk!" Amidst their trepidation, they heard their master clicking his tongue in disappointment. They all naturally bowed their head down in shame. They were even thinking to just kill one another so that they could finally go back to their master already.

"Fine then, let me show you all! Learn from these little birds!" As helpless as he was, Jim could only give them a very good example that they should follow. He then called over the Blood Minions around. The Blood Minions then hurriedly flew towards their creator as they all dived into his body as if diving into a pool.

The Tree-Merger Apes, as well as Batik, saw the Blood Minions entering their master. And they all nodded in realization. Or perhaps, they just forced themselves to nod as if they really realized what had just happened.

In reality, they didn't understand a thing at all!

But what else could they do? They didn't want their master to be disappointed in them.

Helpless, they all surrounded their master as they intended to do the same. They were all afraid that their master would go more impatient if they couldn't do such a very simple task.

Wait.

On the other hand, Jim felt that something was amiss. He saw all his tamed beasts surrounding him as he began to sweat profusely.

That's not what I am talking about!

Jim thought that the Blood Minion would turn themselves into beads of blood before they could enter inside his body. He just realized as well that such a case also never happened before. The last time his Blood Minion returned to his body, they also dived on him as if diving into a swimming pool.

Only when he was summoning them, the Blood Minions would come out from his body in the form of beads of blood and then morph themselves to what they were supposed to be afterward. The same went for his Tree-Merger Apes, when he summoned all of them a little while ago, they came out from his body in the form of beads of blood before they morph themselves into a beast.

So why the heck did his thought get skewed that he even thought that his Blood Minions would first turn into beads of blood before they could go back to him?

Never did he realize that his mind was affected by the Tree-Merger Apes turning themselves into beads of blood after they die. He was subconsciously thinking that the same thing would happen to his Blood Minion.

Jim was still thinking about a lot of things when he saw his beasts already starting to make a move. They were just about to jump to their master and dive onto him simultaneously when they heard their master shouting in frenzy, "Waaaiittt!"

But it was already too late. Their thought of disappointing their master for being incompetent of obeying his command to go back in his body made them have an urge to regain their lost honor. They should not at least disappoint their master in a simple task.

That being said, even after they heard their master shouting at them to wait, it was already too late. The momentum they did was just simply too strong that even if they forced themselves to stop, it was already pointless.

Of course, they tried to halt their movements. But it only made things even worse. Some of them had even stumbled, implicating the others who barely managed to halt themselves to be stumbled as well. That being said, although they didn't manage to dive on their master's body as beautiful as the Blood Minions, they were still about to do the same. It was in a complete mess though.

Jim saw them, and he didn't know whether to laugh or cry. If they all come together at him, he might really turn into a meat paste before they could even enter his body.

With fright and worry blending together, Jim instinctively waved his hand from left to right. He was thinking that if they couldn't turn themselves into beads of blood, he should at least force them to do so.

To his surprise, what he was thinking actually did happen. All the surrounding beasts had all turned into the blood as they gradually became small beads of blood floating in the midair.

At first, Jim widened his eyes in shock before a wide smile finally appeared on his lips.

Relief. Joy. Excitement. Many emotions flooded in Jim's heart. He thought that even if he didn't die, he would surely suffer from the onslaught of his beasts. Fortunately, he managed to turn them into beads of blood before they could even touch him.

"Phew! That's troublesome." After a few moments of relief, Jim wiped the sweat formed on his forehead with the back of his hand before he swept his gaze to all the fist-size beads of blood around. Among all of them, there was one of which size was slightly bigger than the rest. Not only that, its color was even darker than the rest. Jim could roughly tell that this bead of blood was his newly tamed beast, Batik.

Do the beads of blood differ according to their strength? Jim thought to himself but didn't put so much attention on it.

After taking a look at all of the beads of blood, Jim then willed for all of them to gather and enter his body. The beads of blood then floated throughout his body as all of it had been absorbed by Jim right away.

As they all entered, Jim could tell that they were able to share their feelings with each other. The Tree-Merger Apes were happy to return to their master. The same went for Batik, he never thought that being one with his master was simply too good to be true.

He was even thinking that as long as he was with his master, living forever was not a dream anymore.

After Jim was done, he then sighed again in relief. He gazed somewhere afar as he muttered silently, "Now then, I wonder how is my wolf now."

Jim was still thinking about the current situation of his Evolving White Wolf that was chased after by his younger brother when suddenly, one of his Blood Minions informed him that the wolf had been finally found.

Jim didn't know whether it was fate or just an obvious script made by the author but he didn't care that much for it now. All he cared about right now was to find his wolf. After all, his wolf was now in a difficult situation.

He could tell that his younger brother wouldn't let his wolf go away so easily as he could clearly hear the other party's desire for his wolf.

Jim was fine giving his wolf to his younger brother since he was his brother in blood and in flesh. But the problem was that even if he wanted to, he just couldn't.

Bantay clearly pointed out that even he himself, an S-rank beast, wasn't able to break the contract with him and even if Jim himself willed for the contract to be destroyed, it was still pointless. Just by thinking about it could make Jim realize how strong his ability was to tame a beast in such a way.

After thinking for a few moments, Jim turned his gaze to the direction of where the Blood Minion giving him a signal was. He stared there for a few moments before he muttered, "Exchange!"
