Chapter 167: Who The Heck Are You Calling Trash?
Chapter 167: Who The Heck Are You Calling Trash?
As Ben was looking around to look for Elaine, he just realized that he was looking on the wrong way as what he could only see was the exit of where they came in. Ben quickly turned around as he finally saw a certain blue tree placed at a certain land amidst a pond.
Ben couldn't help but narrow his eyes towards it. He didn't notice it earlier since his attention was caught by Jim's tamed beast as he was too busy fighting that beast. But now, that his mind was all cleared up, it wasn't difficult to see this blue tree anymore.
But now that he thought about it, Ben wondered where did that beast had gone into. After he blew it away, the other party didn't appear anymore as he was attacked by the girl before instead.
In any case, Ben couldn't be bothered by it anymore. He could see that Jim was standing near the pond as he was staring at the blue tree. Ben walked closer towards it and stopped beside Jim as he too looked closely and more intently at the blue true.
And only then did Ben had noticed a little girl floating on top of the blue tree. Her eyes were tightly shut and her two hands were 90 degrees away from her hips. Her crimson hair was being swayed by the wind as she exuded a suppressive aura enough for Ben to widen her eyes.
"Who is she?" Ben asked Jim who was beside him. Even so, he felt that he had already seen this girl before. It was just that, he didn't know where and when.
"I don't know. But she was the one who attacked us earlier." It was noticeable that Jim was frowning as he replied while staring at the little girl. After a moment of pause, he added, "But I think, I already saw her before."
Jim didn't notice it earlier since he was too focused on saving Ben. But now that he had a more and closer look towards this girl, he suddenly felt that he had seen her before. Just who was this girl for real?
But no matter who was she, Jim was certain of one thing. This girl was the other X-rank Hunter and Jim was more than certain that she was the one who controlled Bantay.
Jim couldn't help but fix his gaze at the girl. Should he make a move and attack the other party? Jim suddenly thought about it. He could tell that this girl was not normal as she bore some if not plenty hostility against them. But to attack her at that state? Even Jim felt that it wasn't right. After all, he still had some honor within him.
But now that Jim thought about it, the one who he tried to punch earlier was probably a clone of her as this was her real body. He was just astonished by the fact that this girl could create such a level of clone.
"You also feel that you have seen him before?" Ben, on the other hand, was surprised to hear that. Just who in the world was this girl for both of them, who came from different backgrounds, be somewhat familiar with her?
Ben could only fix his gaze at the girl floating above the tree as he asked Jim, "Then should we make a move against her now?"
Ben couldn't be bothered by some kind of honor as he was ready to make a move at anyone as long as they cross the line. And this girl had definitely crossed the line when she caused him to feel frightened.
That said, as long as he heard the word from his friend, he would definitely make a move against her.
Jim suddenly turned his gaze to Ben. He was considering his feelings on what should they do. After all, he could see as well that Ben was still angry at this girl.
But Jim too was angry at her. After all, she'd just controlled his tamed beast. Who would not be angry with that?
Should they really make a move against the girl now? Jim hesitated.
But then, as Jim was still hesitating to make a move, he suddenly heard a voice of a little girl around him. Not only him, but even Ben had also heard that same voice saying,
"Why are you two still not making a move? Go ahead and attack her already."
The two didn't even wonder who or where did the voice come from as they both nodded their head. Indeed, why were they not making a move yet? Were they still waiting for the other party to wake up? That was just too stupid! They should attack now to have a better advantage.
"Yes, that's it. Go and make a move now." The voice chuckled softly as she ordered.
"Yes." The two responded at almost the same time as if their voice was automatically coming out from their mouth. That said, the two bent their knees slightly as they intended to jump up and give that girl a punch she deserved. They couldn't be bothered by anything else as long as they obey what did the voice told them.
So after that, the two finally jumped in the midair without hesitation. As if obeying the order they heard was of utmost importance.
But then, something unexpected happened. They were just a little away from the ground when suddenly, both of them were stuck in the midair. Both of them widened their eyes before finally, they came to their right mind.
What the heck! What happened? They felt that although they still remembered what did they do, they were as if being controlled earlier as if obeying the command of the voice was their only desire.
And when they finally intended or perhaps, made a move to obey the command, it was as if some kind of condition was being met as their body was being bound by something unseen to them.
Just what the heck was going on now? The two could only grit their teeth as they were struggling to break free from their trappings in the midair. Their body was as if being strangled by a very tiny string as it was even making a wound to them.
"Sigh, I never thought that I would have an easy time handling the both of you." The two were still struggling to break free when they suddenly heard the voice of the little girl again. They both instinctively turned their gaze from the little girl of which it was where the voice came from as they saw her eyes finally opening.
Simultaneously, their surroundings were just calming down as they could feel that the suppressive aura in the area was disappearing. Not only that, even the silver pillar of light that looked like a barrier and was surrounding the entire area was slowly dissipating.
And this gave Ben and Jim yet another shock.
Just what was going on now? And this girl, just who was she? They could tell that she was the one who caused the sudden change in their surroundings.
Amidst their confusion, and difficulty of trying to break free, the little girl stared at the both of them as she finally revealed a smile. She then floated towards them elegantly with her crimson hair dancing with the wind.
After a little while, she landed on the ground as she looked closely at the two of them who were still floating in the midair, a little above on the ground.
"You are Ben, right? And you are Jim." The little girl pointed out their names making the both of them a bit surprised. Although Ben had already heard the other party calling out his name before, it made him recall how did the other party know about his name. Just who in the world was this girl? Why do they felt that she knew a lot from them? The two didn't reply as they only stared at the other party intently trying their hardest to remember who was she.
"Are you two wondering why do I know the both of you? And wondering who am I?" They were still thinking deeply about the identity of the other party when suddenly, as if she was reading their mind, the other party asked such questions. And this made them raise their guard and wariness against her even more.
"Haha, don't be like that," The little girl laughed dryly as she continued with a mocking smile, "I only knew the both of you since you two are the famous trash of your own family. How funny. Birds of the same feather really go along well. I really commend you two with that."
Immediately, veins popped out uncontrollably on the head of both Jim and Ben. Their complexion turned dark as they gritted their teeth in their hardest. They tried so hard to break free from their bindings but seeing that it was to no avail, they could only take a deep breath before bellowing in their loudest, "Who the heck are you calling trash?! Are you tired of living?!"
After they said those words, it was as if they lost all their strength as they panted frenziedly. This girl was really making them mad! Just she wait. If they managed to break free from the thing binding them, they would definitely beat her up to the point that her parents would not be able to recognize her anymore.
