Chapter 109: Horrifying Event
Chapter 109: Horrifying Event
As they all tried their hardest to ignore Chad, they all shifted back their gazes to the unfolding fight.
Chad felt bewildered by their actions. Nonetheless, he didn't see it as anything much as he thought for it that they were just itching to see the exciting fight already. He had to admit that even he himself didn't want to miss out a single moment.
With that said, Chad was just about to hide himself again in everyone's view to conserve his World Energy when suddenly, Charley spoke from the side, "Where is Jim?"
Chad didn't know who Charley was asking, but he suddenly felt a chilling sensation when he recalled what had happened earlier. That was really a horrifying event!
"Little Jim was below." Since he was the only one who knew about the situation, Chad replied to Charley's question.
"Below?" No one understood it at all.
"Yes. He's under... Underblood!" Underground? Underwater? Chad didn't know what term he should use to make it short. So in the end, he just used his own vocabulary to describe where Jim was. Just what in the world was the meaning of it anyway? Chad was the only one who knew.
"U-underblood?" As expected, everyone was bewildered. But it didn't take long for them to realize the meaning of it.
"Do you mean, Jim is currently under this sea of blood?" Charley asked.
"Yes," Chad replied seriously.
"..." Charley was speechless. He could just say that her son was under the sea of blood, what was there to use such a foreign word? Fillers? To have more than 1,500 words in this chapter? Charley thought that that was surely the case. But... Underblood? Charley shook her head as she tried not to laugh.
But then, Charley didn't pursue the matter any longer as she fixed her gaze to the sea of blood around her. She couldn't help but frown. She just realized that she couldn't enter the sea of blood she was standing on.
So then, with her Pulang Mata, she tried to peek at what was below only to fail. She couldn't find Jim at all! All she saw was blood down to who knew how deep it was.
What was going on? Charley couldn't believe that she wasn't able to see through something made by her son. Just how strong did her son had gotten in that short amount of time? Were the Cherubim really in a hurry to find a vessel for their 'grace'?
Charley swept her gaze around as she noticed that Jim's tamed beasts were not around as well. She then turned her gaze to her younger brother as she asked, "Jim's tamed beasts are under this sea of blood as well?"
"Yes," Chad replied.
"Why are they below? What are they doing?" Charley's frown didn't leave her.
"This..." Chad organized his thoughts before he said, "Not too long after little Jim has created 'that thing', he..." Chad was just about to say something when he recalled the horrifying event earlier. Chad shook his head frenziedly while trying his hardest to not mention anything about it.
After a few moments of pause, Chad then continued, "Little Jim and his tamed beasts, except to those who were trapped by guild master Laude in the midair, were all swallowed by this sea of blood. I don't know what's happening to them right now but I am sure that little Jim is still alive."
"S-swallowed by this sea of blood?" Jasper and Jade who heard it suddenly felt a shudder as they became uncomfortable standing on where they were. They were afraid that they too, would be swallowed as well.
The other three were rather calm though. After all, they were pretty high-level themselves. If they were really swallowed, they had their own means to escape.
Nonetheless, it still astonished all of them that they could actually stand in this sea of blood and couldn't go down. They were just wondering what would likely happen if they were swallowed by this sea of blood.
In any case, they could tell that Jim was alive. After all, this was his own world he created and it still wasn't destroyed. And as for his safety, only Jade was worried about it. Everyone else was not worrying if Jim's life was in danger because if so, they knew that Laude would have already made a move long ago.
But this Laude was still playing with that red thing. Everyone around could see the grin on Laude's face as they could feel the excited aura emitted by Laude.
"Yes, they were swallowed by this sea of blood." Chad ascertained the truth as he added while pointing clearly to the one fighting by Laude, "After that, that thing has absorbed all the tamed beasts of little Jim trapped by Laude, as its strength has shot up. And from time to time, that thing is absorbing the blood in this sea of blood as it's getting stronger."
"So, that's the thing you are talking about huh." Charley said as she continued, "So you mean as well that it's something created by Jim?"
"Yes." Chad cleared her doubt.
"..."
So then, everyone around didn't speak any more words as they just watched the fight instead. It could even be said that they were so focused on the sight that made them turn silent.
They knew that Chad was not telling everything. But they couldn't care much of it anymore. They just didn't pursue the matter any longer as they felt that they would learn about it sooner or later.

Underblood...
Jim was standing somewhere under the sea of blood. His eyes were tightly closed and surrounding him were his Blood Warriors. Their eyes were tightly closed as well.
The swarm of bees was there as well, but they were not moving anymore and were only gathered in one place to form a huge beehive.
But then...
Jim opened his eyes as a smile immediately surfaced on his lips. He then raised his hand at a chest level as he furled and unfurled it twice. After which, he swept his gaze to his Blood Warriors and Blood Minions around as he said, "Wake up."
Right after saying those words, Batik, Bantay, Evolving White Wolf, and the Tree-Merger Apes opened their eyes. Among his Tree-Merger Apes, only nine were left. And the others? Jim saw them that they were already been absorbed by his new creation.
At the same time, the swarm of bees, Jim's Blood Minions, started moving again as they all flew so naturally under the sea of blood.
Every Blood Minions and Blood Warriors of Jim were now ready and were only waiting for the order.
A while ago, Jim's Blood Warriors felt the helplessness of not being able to put out any damage to their opponent. They couldn't even touch the other party or came closer to him. Even with all of their strength, they still felt that they were being toyed.
Not until when their master Jim had created something and gave them a chance to turn the table...
****
While ago when Jim was trying to create a new life-form.
As his soul and blood had made a contact with each other, white dazzling light was emitted from the ball of blood. It lasted for a while until finally, the blood morphed itself into something.
Jim watched the occurrence attentively and didn't bother to even blink. He saw the ball of blood morphing itself into something like a human kid, but Jim could tell that it was not a human.
It might have the same features as a human body, but it was not a human. It had no clothes and no 'thing' to determine its gender. Although it could be said that it was a male just by looking by its short hair.
Not only that, it was faceless. No eyes, mouth, nose, and only ears. It was all bloody red and from the looks of it, its body features were so much similar to Jim's. The size, the height, Jim believed that this appearance was based on him.
Only then Jim had realized that he hadn't thought of what appearance his new creation would be, and this new creation of his had only copied his own.
But well, it was not Jim of which he had a concern of, but to its very similar aura as himself. Jim felt that this new creation of his had the same ability as him.
So then, after it was been created, the new creation of Jim landed on the ground slowly as it kneeled in front of Jim with one of its knees. Right after that, it said with an almost similar voice like him, "Master, please name me."
Jim suddenly found his eyes widened for a moment. This thing could speak and even copied his voice? And it actually wanted a name? From what it appeared, it had thought of its own, unlike his Blood Minions. Just what was this thing could really do?
Jim suddenly felt excited. He didn't expect that he could actually create such beings. Just what would he call it now? What name should he give to it?
Since the other party was made through his own Blood and Soul...
"Your name will be..." Jim thought for a while until finally, he came up with a great name for this new creation of his. So then, after a moment of pause, he exclaimed in all excitement "Tokayo! [1]"
His voice echoed to the surroundings as many emotions flooded those who were around.
Bantay and Batik slapped their forehead as they tried their hardest to not pass out. Their master really was too creative in naming! They really were astonished.
Laude, even with his mouth tightly closed, still found his blood dripping down from the edge of his mouth. He seemed to receive some internal injuries. He was already trying his hardest to not cough a mouthful of blood and remain calm instead, but this blood still managed to escape from his mouth!
Chad on the other hand had almost failed to catch his breath. He was already having difficulty enduring the heat he was feeling, and now, he would just suddenly hear such a name? Just what in the world was this?
But then, with great difficulty, he still managed to barely retain his composure somehow as he muttered after calming down, "What a horrifying event."
Those who were around knew that the new creation of Jim was really something. It was just that, the name given by Jim to it was really something as well.
At almost the same time, they all turned their gazes to the new creation of Jim as they all felt pity. They really wondered what was the other party feeling right now.
____________
[1] 'Tokayo' or 'Katokayo' has no exact English term, but it should be something like 'The Same'. Filipinos often used it to call someone who has a similar name to them. It sounds a bit funny though.
_____________
"Hoy, 'Tokayo', nag babasa ka pala?!" XD
