Chapter 105: What A Freaking Monster
Chapter 105: What A Freaking Monster
Meanwhile...
While Charley and Elissa had their own drama...
The duel between a grandfather and grandson was just about to continue.
Jim's Blood Minions completely shrouded Laude's entire body leaving without any gaps for air to enter. But why was it that even after that, Jim could feel that his grandfather's Life Energy didn't even go down a bit? Did his grandfather finally become a little serious? That was obvious!
When Jim used his sparrow to catch his grandfather off guard, he was successful enough to even result for his grandfather to forcefully cut his own arm. But now, even with his so many Blood Minions sucking his grandfather altogether, his grandfather appeared to not receive any damage at all. Just what was happening right now?
Jim narrowed his eyes as he signaled for the Tree-Merger Apes to make a move now.
The Tree-Merger Apes then rushed to the leafless trees around them and combined themselves with them.
Whenever they were one with the tree, the Tree-Merger Apes couldn't move their position. But now that the trees they were possessing were standing in a lake of blood, they just found out that they could move their position. They really were excited about this discovery.
Thud!
Crash!
However, as they were moving to surround their opponent trapped in the swarm of bees, they heard a loud and heavy thud. And there was something sent flying and had crashed on many trees around.
All of them, including Batik, Bantay, and Evolving White Wolf, shifted their gaze to where was that loud thud came from only to find that it was their master!
"Master!" Everyone cried out in their hearts. But before they could even rush to their master for the rescue, they found someone standing on their master's original position.
It was naturally, their opponent, Laude Jabat! Just what was going on now?!
Every Blood Warrior of Jim felt their blood boiling when they saw him. Without thinking anything much, they rushed towards Laude for revenge. Only the bees that were still gathering around were still trying to swarm that someone who they thought was still there. Or perhaps, they were trapped in that space and couldn't move anymore.
Meanwhile...
Cough!
"What the heck! It hurts!" Jim found his nose still bleeding as he coughed a mouthful of blood. Was his grandfather really trying to kill him? That was too merciless!
Jim knew that his grandfather was about to make a move. But who would have thought that his grandfather would give him a surprise attack and kicked him from behind. Even though he was healing fast, he still found his butt aching in pain.
To the many parts of his body, just why the heck was his butt needed to be chosen?!
Jim didn't notice the arrival of his grandfather since he couldn't hear anything from the other party. He could only fail to detect him. That being said, even after his grandfather was already standing on Jim's behind for a good while already, Jim didn't notice him. But why was his Blood Warriors and Blood Minions didn't notice his grandfather as well? What were they even doing?
Jim was frustrated. He even blamed everything on his Blood Warriors and Blood Minions. If they just informed him, then he could at least exchanged position to any of his Blood Minions and would not end up sent flying and would prevent his butt to suffer.
What a useless bunch!
Jim didn't know that it was not because his Blood Warriors and Blood Minions didn't notice his grandfather, but because they couldn't. Although Laude was just standing right behind Jim, Laude made it appear that he wasn't there. By distorting the space before him to make himself a crystal clear transparent, it would appear to everyone's view that he wasn't there.
With that said, everyone around failed to notice Laude. Only by revealing himself purposely, did every Blood Warriors of Jim notice Laude.
If Jim had only turned around, he would probably have seen his grandfather with his Pulang Mata. It was just that, he was too focused on his grandfather of which he thought that the other party was still swarmed by his bees.
As for now, Jim was still gritting his teeth and was whining in his heart for having useless tamed beasts when he found a huge gorilla flying towards his way and was ready to crush him at any moment.
It was Bantay! And from the looks of it, he was sent flying by his grandfather!
What the heck! Jim found his eyes bulging as he even forgot to exchange position with his Blood Minions and tried to run away instead for his survival only to barely succeed.
As he jumped away in fright, it was only a hair-breadth and Bantay would definitely be crashed at him. Jim really wondered what kind of meat paste would he possibly formed into.
Nonetheless, the shockwaves and the waves of blood still gave an angry force and had him sent flying. Jim rolled on the pool of blood as he was just thankful that this blood was soft. With that, he prevented the additional damage caused by rolling.
Jim also realized that the lake of blood was liquid down to who knew how deep was it. It was just that Jim was astonished that they could stand above it. At that time, he really wondered what it felt like to be under this lake of blood.
But he had no time to think about it anymore. He shifted his gaze to his grandfather only to see his many Blood Warriors attacking the other party being sent flying. Some trees, no, some of his Tree-Merger Apes were even floating in the midair as some of them were being crushed to death. It was being compressed to form a ball of meat paste!
Jim knew that this was one of the abilities of his grandfather, space control! Similar to telekinesis, the material thing around could be moved freely as the caster willed. The only different thing was that space control used Elemental Energy and space element, while telekinesis used Mental Energy and mind. Nonetheless, it had a similar effect.
Jim shuddered to the merciless sight. He could tell that although his Blood Warriors were not killed, they were suffering a furious pain that they even wished to just die already! How could his grandfather become so cruel? Jim could only grit his teeth for he already knew the reason but couldn't accept it.
Then he saw a bear rushing towards Laude. It was, of course, the mighty Batik! From the looks of it, just like Bantay, Batik was sent flying as well to who knew how far away. As he reached his distance, Batik then roared furiously as he smashed his huge palm to Laude only to be sent flying again without even having a chance to graze the other party.
Bantay saw it. And he wouldn't just let this weakling show off in front of their master. He knew that the other party had failed, but he could tell that that weakling was doing his best to be noticed by their master. That being said, Bantay rushed towards Laude as well.
Bantay knew that bear. The moment he saw the other party when that bear came out of his master's body, Bantay had already realized that this bear was actually his mortal enemy, Bear King! It was just that, he couldn't make sense of how did the other party became so lucky enough to meet his master and be his tamed beast.
That fact really was frustrating!
Nonetheless, Bantay couldn't make any move against this weakling anymore. Because they were now in the same family. But their competition was of course, not yet over. They might remove their enmity in the past but their sense of rivalry would never last. This was the instinct of the beasts: strong reigned the weak, a hierarchy of strength!
Jim was, of course, could feel their enmity against each other. He even thought that he would have a hard time stopping them from fighting. But who would have thought that these two beasts would consider his feelings and tried to forget their enmity in the past and only decided to have a competition.
Jim really was pleased. Although nothing was said, with a deep connection they had with each other, Jim could still guess his tamed beasts' thoughts and feelings.
With that, Jim had forgotten about the uselessness of his tamed beasts and focused on the fight against his grandfather instead. He could tell that this was really a tough fight.
Crash!
Of course, it was not only Bantay and Batik who were trying their best. Even Evolving White Wolf wouldn't lose to them. But since it was much weaker compared to Bantay and Batik, Evolving White Wolf could only sneak attack only to fail and be sent flying to be crashed heavily at many trees. Evolving White Wolf didn't even have a chance to reach its distance towards its target.
Not only Evolving White Wolf, but even the many Tree-Merger Apes had also kept coming back after they were sent flying. It was just fortunate for them that in this field, they were invincible and their Life Energy seemed endless. Nonetheless, the pain was still excruciating making them feel a little hesitant to make a move. But since their master was watching, they gained courage hoping that with their effort, their master would see it and would reward them in return.
Only those unlucky ones who were trapped in the midair and were being crushed into a meat paste were the ones who couldn't make a move anymore.
As time went on, the numbers of Tree-Merger Apes that were stuck in the midair, and were being crushed into a meat paste, were increasing. Until finally, only less than ten Tree-Merger Apes were left.
Those who were left, including Bantay, Batik, and Evolving White Wolf were now surrounding Laude, but they were hesitating to step forward anymore and were only baring their fangs.
They were afraid that if they made a single step, they would only be sent flying and would have a hard time rolling furiously on the pool of blood and a hard time coming back. Just what the heck was this? How were they supposed to touch the other party? They even felt that their opponent was just toying them.
What a freaking monster! Jim's Blood Warrior thought in unison. Even with their field advantage, they were still being toyed.
