As always, the Demon King couldn't leave the Demonic Impure Land unless all the heroes died.

But with how Alister had announced his ascension to godhood and his establishment of the Wright Pantheon, the Demon King might have already given up on living and was just waiting for his death in order to complete his role.

Even if the Demon King wanted to, he couldn't commit suicide since Fantasia and the Will of the World prevented him from doing that. He could only do it when he was confronting the heroes but since he hadn't even encountered any of the heroes, it was impossible to perform self-delete.

And with the pride of the Demon King, he likely wouldn't even attempt suicide and would rather die at the hands of the heroes. After all, it wasn't shameful to die at Alister's hands since the Demon King of Pride would go down in history as the first Demon King to die at the hands of a god-level hero.
