Chapter 79 [Bonus Chapter]The Remaining Ones

[Bonus Chapter because of the castle that has been gifted by Jason_Thomes. Thank you for the gift. Words cannot describe how happy I am.]

As Phoenix and the man from Horace left, the remaining people in the room looked straight at Jake with calculating eyes.

"I won't feel offended if you guys attack your chat windows. This is a big matter, and I know that you don't have any authority with something so big." Jake smiled.

Seeing him so nonchalant, the person who was so rude at the very beginning was about to go off again, but a single look from Jake shut him up.

Immediately, everyone started typing furiously, trying to get an answer from their higherups.

Just imagining an alliance like this, which had so many corporations together, it boiled their blood. An alliance that matched Jake's imagination wouldn't stop with one empire. It would be strong enough to go further.

It could expand ruthlessly, and no one else in the entire world would be able to compete.

"Sengu wants some time. How long are you willing to wait? Are you willing to give us a week so that we can give you an answer?" a rat faced man on the sidelines asked with a whisper.

"Sengu? A big company like that and all they could send is this guy?" Jake thought in his mind but didn't voice his complaints.

"I have only respect for Sengu. I am a big fan of their pioneering tech in the kitchen spaces. Looks like this is a wonderful place to spend the troves that they earnt. For you, I can make an exception. You have three days to come up with an answer." Jake said.

"Three days is too little! We will have to discuss it with my boss!" the rat faced man said.

"This is already generous. I have to delay my plans with the guild. We were planning an expedition at the end of the week. And now, because of the new alliance, I will have to start preparing." Jake said.

"Your terms are too outrageous, Shadow King. We demand a stake in your guild if want to partner up with us." the rude man up front said.

Jake lazily looked at him.

"You want me to give you a stake? Fine. For Aries, I will give you a stellar deal. One that you can actually afford. As long as you hand over a hundred thousand gold right now, I will give you a five percent stake. That is already undervaluing my guild a lot. So then, can you even afford to cough out a hundred thousand gold coins right now?" Jake smiled.

The representative's haugty smile froze.

"Do you think you're funny? Who in this world can actually afford to buy a stake in your guild then? What, do you want to make an enemy out of Aries, you bastard?" he shouted.

"Fine. Let us say that I actually do make an enemy out of you. Do you know who I am? Do you know where I live? Leaving all that aside, do you even know what my real name is? I highly doubt that. But I am sure that Aiden Peters sure is famous. Look at that disparity! I know you, and yet you don't know me. Do you think that you can threaten me?" Jake shrugged.

"Do you think that you can actually do anything in World Online if Aries wants you to die? I promise you boy, as long as we want to, we can make sure that your guild will never grow. We can all put bounties on your heads that will make you the public target of everyone in the world." he spat on the floor.

"Fine then. If you are willing to spend all the money that you have trying to get me to cave, then go on ahead. I don't know what idiot would do that instead of trying to grow in this world. Go ahead. Get the hell out of my store." Jake's expression was frigid, and he glanced at the guard.

"Get him out of here." he waved his hand.

"Yes, Baron King." the guard nodded, and his baron glinted as he approached the representative.

"I know my way out. You don't need to force me. I will remember this, boy. I will make your life a living hell just for treating me like this." he spat out again.

"Truly, some people are so arrogant that it pisses me off. Pisses me off so much that I am willing to do this." Jake shook his head and moved his hand.

He went to the forums.

[Guild Leader of Bright Horizon posting a bounty: Ten silvers for every kill of the man: Thousand Slaughters. He is a representative of Aries, so you have been warned.]

He posted it, and immediately looked up.

"Well then. Just for your attitude, I am going to go against this great Aries of yours. Do you really think that I will back down in front of someone like you?" Jake scoffed at the leaving Thousand Slaughters.

He then refocused his attention toward those who were still in front of him.

"Forgive me for showing you such an ugly display. But this has completely soured our mood, and distracted us too much. I am willing to show that the guild is worth this alliance, but a single way does not pop up in my mind." Jake smiled.

"We could do something though. We could wait till the expeditions, and see if the first guild to ever clear a raid is actually strong." Jake said.

"How did you find this raid that no one else found before, guild leader?" someone finally asked.

"There are way too many raids, and they are only available to guild leaders and coleaders. That too, only for guilds that have more than a hundred active players. We must sort through every single raid, the majority of which are too difficult and will need better levels. I understand that many are surprised that I have found a raid that the guild could complete." Jake nodded.

,m "Then how did you find them?"

"I'll cut the crap. Only my allies will have access to the valuable information that I hold."
