Chapter 10
Chapter 10:
9
With the birth of the mist the world in Layton eyes completely changed but he had already expected it, he could vaguely perceive the overlapping dimensions of reality, the most glaring was the elements that flooded his vision although he could see the elements he could not manipulate them at his level, he did not have a rune that manipulated elements and his spirit was not strong enough for forceful manipulation, Layton could vaguely perceive some other semi illusory planes that overlapped with reality but it was the same situation as the elements.
After a period of time adapting to the chaotic vision his promotion had brought him he finally activated his rune to form a connection with the spirit plane.
The spirit dimension or astral realm is one the hardest layer of reality one can connect to, it is deeply hidden on the edge of reality and intersects with almost all other layers, its large size and chaotic tendency makes it hard to properly position and maintain a deep connection .
Those who had the opportunity to deeply ascertain and manipulate aspects of the spirit dimension always had weird and almost unsolvable powers that where a nightmare for those at a low level, an example was the curses or voodoo that could be launched at the opponent almost without a trace even illusionists made use of astral realm to cast spells, although these only made use of the surface of the astral realm that was intersecting with other planes, it was still a formidable force, it has been rumored that the way fate witches saw and manipulated fate was because they had a deep connection to the spirit dimensional core.
One of the important reasons Layton had not chosen another rune was that solace had vaguely hinted that he had confirmed that with his inspiration talent and the soul nature of the domineering rune there was a high probability of connecting to the spirit dimensions’ core.
With the activation of the rune countless information seemed to flow in and out Layton’s mind, although the information was loud and fuzzy at first but after a few minutes Layton seemed to have adapted to it, Layton’s inspiration talent has fully merged into his rune making his perception wider than expected, he could precisely feel the various parameters of everything around him, his perception almost even extended towards the quantum realm.
.....
Layton guessed if he fully released his perception he could even predict the short term future which was one of the advanced forms of domineering color.
As his connection was with the astral realm deepened Layton was able to feel vaguely some connections and lines of those that had come into contact with and had relationships with him, it was like the legendary feeling of the lines of cause of effect, feeling this Layton instinctively followed the lines looking for the silver haired figure that haunted his dreams, as his perception scanned the lines and finally found the one representing her he was stunned by the huge amount of information that suddenly flooded him and suddenly he seemed to have lost something, his memories were blurring, the last thing he remembered perceiving was a masked silver haired figure with countless threads originating from her fingers that seemed to be weaving the thread of fate.
In a magnificent castle floating erratically in the void of the multiverse there was a masked figure at the top overlooking the countless planes and planets that floated past the castle, the figure looked lost in thought as if contemplating the meaning of her existence and suddenly she felt something tugging at her, suddenly familiar memories and emotions poured into her mind and shattering her indifferent state of mind,
“emotions are nothing but obstacles to detachment.”
recognizing the origin of the memories the figures icy blue eyes seemed to harden as she spoke, then a thread extended from her finger into her head and then pulled a blue light from her head, one could see various beautiful scenes of happy memories being projected from the blue light but the masked figure ignored it, putting the light in her hand she crushed it the light was resilient and then her dainty hands increased its pressure eliminating all traces of its existence from all levels, her actions caused the void to shake destabilizing nearby planes causing them to crash on themselves destroying its inhabitants forming numerous black holes.
The magnificent scene of destruction caused no waves in the figures blue eyes, the dangerous scenes only caused her silver hair to flutter slightly in the void.
