Winter Swan

Chapter 114:

Chapter 114: <Chapter 113>

Silje shivered as his words seeped into her soul.

She didn’t want to accept him. She needed to deny him, so Silje replied coldly, “Now you are dabbling in shamanism too? You need to remember the most important thing. I left you despite everything and you came here for your revenge.”

Kail’s eyes filled with anger. Quietly, he replied, “In one of Finland’s myths, there was a goddess who was pregnant for nine years. After roaming the riverside for years, she finally gave birth to an old man. Apparently, this man was one of the most famous poets in Finland. Just like this poet, I swear to you that no matter what happens, I will remain forever yours. All I am trying to do now is to make you realize what you did to me five years ago. How cruel your deeds were... That is all I want. I just want you to know.”

With that, Kail became silent. He was being genuine, but all Silje could feel was fear for him. His desire and obsession for her were unearthly.

“What are you trying to say? If you want me so much, then just do what you need to do. Take me and then leave me alone when you’re done.”

She was afraid, but she wasn’t going to run away. Silje straightened up and looked into his eyes. She wanted to show him that she was angry, but all Kail did was smile. Even his smile was frightening, but Silje didn’t look away.

She came this far, and there was no turning back.

They will keep going until the end. Whatever happened, neither of them was willing to back down. Perhaps someone would die, or maybe both.

“Just get it over with, will you?”

Kail didn’t respond. He just continued to smile as if he was vastly entertained by her bluster.

After a long silence, Kail finally replied, “Don’t rush, Silje. I will start when I am good and ready. You are forgetting that I am the one who gets to decide when to start and when to finish our relationship.”

Kail was in control and they both knew it. Until he was done with her, Silje was going to belong to him.

The way he looked at her was suffocating. Kail was telling Silje that he was the only man who could have her. She couldn’t take the tension anymore, so when she tried to turn around, Kail moved faster. He had her face him and made Silje look at him.

Then, he took her arms and started to walk.

Silje tried to get her arm back, but Kail held her firmly and continued to walk. People in the museum stared with interest and it was no wonder.

The gorgeous man over 190 cm in his black suit and a tall slim Asian woman in her white suit.

They were a striking couple.

Everyone turned around as they walked away. Silje bit her lips and whispered to him angrily.

“Let me go.”

Kail’s eyes burned as he looked down at her.

“Did you already forget? You just told me to get started right away.”

Kail dragged her into the elevator. The door closed and they were the only ones in it. As they went down, the tension inside the elevator was overbearing. Kail looked at her for a few seconds before he kissed her roughly.

“...!”

He always looked so cold and rigid like a cruel villain, but his lips were hot against hers. Kail pushed Silje against the elevator wall hard and took her lips over and over again. She could barely breathe, and her senses were too stimulated. She gasped, “Let me go! I said...!”

“But wasn’t it you who wanted to get this over with? Isn’t that what you said? Did I not hear you correctly?”

He cornered her without mercy and his baritone voice made her tremble. Her mind became foggy but Silje gritted her teeth and replied, “You are very much mistaken! You can’t do this here! I may have allowed you to take me, but not in a place like this. Get the hell away from me.”

Silje slapped him hard, leaving a red hand print on his cheek, but Kail only smiled darkly.

“You haven’t changed at all. I salute you for your bravery, but you also need to remember that when you behave like this, you only make me hotter.”

With that warning, he took her lips again.

“Let me go! Didn’t you hear what I just said?”

But her protests were swallowed by his lips as he continued to kiss her crudely. Kail didn’t want to hear her anymore.

Silje didn’t want this. Not here.

She fought back as hard as she could in his arms. She may have allowed him her body, but not like this. She didn’t want to be trapped and lose all control. She refused to be forced into a situation like this.

Silje twisted her body to get away, but she was no match for Kail when it came to strength. He stopped her easily.

“Ah!”

She gasped as the green eyes looked down at her. The fury in his eyes was deadly. As much as he desired Silje, Kail hated her too. He was here to avenge his heart, and he was not going to let her go.

Feeling his smooth luxurious suit rubbing against her body, Silje froze. Kail pushed her harder against the wall and trapped her with his body. With an livid smile, he kissed her again.

“Ah...!”

His kiss was like a hurricane. Silje’s lips swelled up and reddened, and she was covered in the scent of his cologne. When she was about to lose her consciousness, Kail finally stepped back and ordered calmly, “Your hair is a mess now. You should also straighten your suit. I don’t like my woman looking all ravished. And get ready for the second round because it will not be as easy and quick as this.”

It was a declaration of war.

He was telling her he was going to destroy her.

An elegant yet terrifying threat.

However, Silje had no intention of becoming an easy prey. She rubbed her lips angrily as if to erase his kiss and replied, “That’s fine with me. I am ready for whatever is coming for me. I am looking forward to the damage you think you can do.”

Kail smiled in satisfaction, making Silje even angrier. She added sharply, “Don’t be so smug.”

“We will talk later. Let’s get off this elevator and get into my car first. By the way, it will be better for you to stop exciting me like this. I am so close to just taking you right now.”

With that, the elevator door opened and Kail walked out alone, like he didn’t care about her. He knew she would follow him, and Kail was right. It would’ve been ridiculous for her to run away now, so she did go after him and walked out of the museum.

Walking with him on the street as if they were a normal couple felt strange. Silje wondered what was going to happen next. There was so much of winter left in New York and she realized that she had to be strong.

Silje was chewing her lips nervously when the familiar black Benz arrived for them.
