Chapter 80 - DON'T COME CLOSE!
"Martin, are you all right there?" asked Ellena when she had just received a phone call from Martin.
"I'm fine, Sis. How's Mom?" Martin's voice on the other end sounded so enthusiastic.
After one day returning to the village, he was finally able to talk again with his older sister, even though it was a long distance away. At least being able to know the news of his mother and sister was fine, that was enough for him.
"Mom is fine." Ellena replied as she got up from the sofa in the living room. "What about the results of the announcement at school?" She asked curiously.
"I passed, Sis!" exclaimed Martin without further ado. "You know what? Looks like God answered your prayers. I graduated with top marks." he explained so happily, he didn't even give Ellena a chance to speak.
"Really?" Ellena looked surprised. Instantly she covered her mouth with teary eyes. Between happy and not believing that her younger brother will get the best grades in school.
It is undeniable, Martin does have a smart brain. This is evident from the achievements that the young man has always achieved since he was in elementary school.
It would be very unfortunate if outstanding students like Martin did not continue their education to higher education. That's why Ellena really wanted Martin to go to college.
"Have you forgotten that your brother is a genius?" Martin asked starting to brag, but he wasn't serious about what he was saying.
Ellena pursed her lips in response to her overconfident brother. "Besides, I also wouldn't want to have a stupid younger brother. So, study hard if you still want me to think of you as a brother." She replied jokingly.
"I'm sure you wouldn't be willing to lose a brother like me." Martin didn't want to lose.
However, it suddenly made Ellena laugh out loud. At a glance she managed to forget the problem that had been bothering her for the past two days
"Congratulations on your graduation. I hope you can become a successful person in the future." Ellena whispered with tears in her eyes because she was holding back emotion.
"Thank you, Sis. Thank you for your struggle all this time. Without you and Mom, I am nothing. I was able to graduate with the best grades, it's because of you," replied Martin with a slightly sad tone. Maybe he remembers the struggles of his sister and mother who were willing to work hard to pay for his schooling.
"You really deserve that grade. I'm so proud of you." Ellena replied with a wide smile. "You want to talk to Mother?" She asked then.
"Yes, give the phone to Mom."
Ellena walked to her mother's room. The door to the room opened and she went straight into it. Briana was seen lying on the bed sleeping.
"Martin, Mom is taking a nap. It's a shame if you wake her up, her rest will be disturbed," Ellena whispered, deliberately lowering her voice.
"Okay, Sis. Maybe I'll call again later. Don't disturb her rest." Martin answered, no problem.
"Okay, I'll let you know later when Mom wakes up." Ellena replied in a still whispering tone.
"Elle ...."
Just as Ellena was about to end the conversation with Martin, suddenly her mother's call woke her up. She immediately turned her head to see Briana who was trying to sit up.
"Ma'am?" Ellena walked over to Briana and sat on the edge of the bed, late beside her mother. "Sorry I disturbed your rest." She regretted.
"No. I've had enough rest," said Briana, who was already sitting on the bed. "Who are you talking to?" She asked curiously.
"Martin, Ma'am. Martin wants to talk to you." Ellena immediately handed the phone to her mother.
"Congratulations, My son. I'm very proud of you. From the start, I thought you would get the best grades." Briana said after Martin delivered his graduation results.
"This is all thanks to your prayers. Thank you for your struggles all this time," replied Martin.
"When did you come back here?" Briana asked then. A day without seeing him, it seemed that she had missed her son very much.
"That's why I called Mom. It seems I can't come back soon enough. I have to wait until the farewell party is over. After that, I'll go back over there. Are you okay?" Martin clearly regretted not being able to see his mother soon, considering the farewell ceremony that would be held in the next two weeks.
"When will the farewell ceremony be held?" Briana asked curiously.
"Two weeks, Ma'am."
"It's been a long time, Martin!" Brian protested.
However, Martin managed to convince the mother. Finally Briana also allowed Martin to live alone in the village for a while, although she was a little reluctant.

The days went by so fast. After one week Martin returned to the village, Briana's condition gradually improved. However, Ellena and Lucas' relationship was not much better than before.
Yes, since then Ellena has always tried to avoid Lucas, even though she was always acting as usual. She only spoke when there was something important. She didn't even dare to approach Lucas anymore, especially when she was alone.
Even so, Ellena continues to carry out her duties as a wife as usual. Even in front of Briana they always try to show that their relationship is fine.
Lucas looks out of the room with a gray office suit that has been attached to his body very neatly and elegantly.
"Could you please get my bag in the study?" He asked as Ellena had just come out of her mother's room and was passing through him.
Ellena paused for a moment, then took a deep breath. However, without responding to anything, she immediately went to Lucas' study which was not far from where she was standing.
It was not uncommon for Lucas to be responded to by Ellena's cold attitude. He just smiled as his wife passed from in front of him.
Without wanting to linger in the room, Ellena immediately grabbed a black briefcase that was neatly tucked away on Lucas' desk. After that, she intended to immediately go out and bring the bag to Lucas. However, just as she turned around, Lucas suddenly entered the room.
It suddenly made Ellena feel shocked and afraid. Reflexively she took a step back until she ended up on the desk. Ellena had not done much to avoid her husband who was walking closer to her.
"What are you doing here?" asked Ellena putting on a scared expression.
Yes, scared. Ellena was afraid to be alone with Lucas in a closed room like that. She was afraid that what happened a week ago would repeat itself. Even though until this moment she still couldn't remember what happened, she still felt disgusted when she remembered what Lucas had said.
"Why are you scared like that, am I not your husband?" Lucas continued to walk towards Ellena at a slowing pace.
"Don't come close!" said Ellena, holding on to the desk when her steps came to a dead end.
I don't know where to run to. In the back is a desk and cupboard. Even if you want to run forward, you are blocked by a sofa set. The only empty place that she could pass to escape, was actually blocked by Lucas. Meanwhile, Lucas was getting closer. Ah, how frustrated she was in dealing with such a situation.
"How long are you going to stay away from me?" Lucas asked, now towering in front of Ellena. Even their distance was so close that it seemed that there was no distance that separated their bodies.
Lucas leaned his head forward so that he was closer to Ellena's face. However, Ellena swiftly dodged and looked away in any direction.
"What would you do?" Ellena sarcastically leaned back until her back arched backwards, while her lower body couldn't move because it was blocked by the table.
As hard as Ellena tried to dodge, Lucas chased after her. Even Lucas seemed to have bent over trying to keep up with Ellena's body position.
Ellena's breath started to hitch as if she was exhausted. She wasn't running a marathon, but Lucas' attitude made her feel tired from constantly forcing her to dodge.
Instead of answering Ellena's question. Lucas just straightened his body and put his hands on his hips while looking at Ellena annoyed.
Ellena immediately stroked the chest that had felt like something had hit it from inside. Yes, she was always overwhelmed with every heart attack when she was around Lucas. Luckily this time the man relented so that she could breathe a sigh of relief again.
"Why do you always avoid me? Am I that disgusting to you, huh?" Lucas annoyed as he pouted his lips without lowering his hands from his waist.
"Think to yourself, do I deserve to approach a coward like you?" Ellena didn't want to lose. This seems like the right time to express her anger to her husband.
"What did you say? You called me a coward? How dare you call me that!" Lucas rolled his eyes.
Of course he accepted with Ellena's words. So far no one has called him a coward, except for his own wife.
"Then what is the proper name for a man who snatches the chastity of an unconscious woman, if not coward?" Ellena began to put her hands on her hips with a slightly upturned face.
Lucas frowned as if surprised by what his wife had said. He was silent for a few seconds, trying to digest every word that came out of Ellena's mouth.
'So she really thinks I've snatched her chastity?' Lucas muttered as he contemplated Ellena's words. 'You stupid woman!' He cursed in his heart.
"Why are you silent? Have you just realized that you are actually a coward?" sarcasm Ellena, who was already very angry because she had kept those things under control for too long.
Lucas smiled bitterly as he took one step forward. Before Ellena had time to dodge, he had already grabbed his wife's head and pulled her closer to his face.
Without giving Ellena a chance to say anything and dodge, Lucas boldly scooped up the luscious pink lips in front of him.
The thing that really surprised and made Ellena widen perfectly. At that moment she immediately rebelled by hitting Lucas in the chest repeatedly.. Meanwhile, she was no longer able to utter a word, other than a scream stifled in her throat, because Lucas' lips were already pressed against her.
