Chapter 117 A Stunning Apartment And A Great Deal
While Arthur was surprised at hearing about Felicia Martel, he also realized he needed to answer the man.
'Shit… Felicia Martel basically had no reputation until she started playing Morpheus Online. It might be strange for me to know about her.' Arthur thought as he looked at Johan.
His mind ran at a high speed, trying to come up with an excuse.
"I read about her a few months ago in an article. The Grand Fest at Starfall City." Arthur finally remembered something that might just work.
He recalled vaguely about Arnold Martel attending the Grand Fest with his family and thus reckoned Felicia should be there too.
"Oh, didn't know that they mentioned Miss Felicia in it too." Johan replied.
"Paparazzi doing paparazzi things. You know how it is." Arthur added.
"That's true." Johan nodded his head. "Miss Felicia doesn't like them much either. Though it helps that she has two elder sisters that take away the attention from her."
"Indeed. Who doesn't know about the famous Martel heiresses?" Arthur could speak about this without worry.
"Miss Alessa and Miss Alice are indeed quite impressive." Johan couldn't help but praise.
Unlike Felicia Martel, her elder sisters Alessa and Alice Martel were well known. Both were older than her and were in their thirties. They were strong businesswomen and were known to be quite fierce.
They had already taken up positions in Martel Holdings since a decade ago and were handling it very well. It could even be said that the future of Martel Holdings was basically secured due to them.
Felicia on the other hand was about 10 years younger than her sisters. The gap between the sisters meant that she had a different kind of childhood experience and didn't have the same demands and expectations.
'Though Felicia would become more famous than her sisters after he rise in Morpheus Online.' Arthur thought. 'No wonder she was always pissed off with the media. She didn't really like the attention since before the game launched.' He remembered.

"The elevator is here," Johan said as he gestured for Arthur to enter first.
"Ah yes." With the topic over, Arthur became calm again.
Though he was still intrigued by the fact that the owner of this building was Felicia Martel.
'Wonder if I can meet her?' Arthur thought to himself. 'She should start playing the game soon enough. If I recall correctly she was in the later batch of players since the launch.'
Though Arthur didn't know exactly when she had joined.
'If I can meet her then perhaps I can get more clues as to her character in the game. Partying up with her would help out a lot.' Arthur thought.

While he was thinking, the elevator finally reached their destination.
"It's on the nineteenth floor?" Arthur saw the number.
"You're lucky this is the last apartment left here." Johan replied. "The previous tenant had to leave and break their lease, thus it became empty all of a sudden."
"Is that why the rent is low?" Arthur couldn't help but ask.
"Yes. Since the lease cost won't be refunded, the miss decided to lower the cost of the rental." Johan said before thinking of something. "Though you don't have to worry about the rental fees changing. The contract shall be for a year, and any modifications to the rent would be communicated to you before the end of the contract period." He clarified.
"That's good." Arthur felt relieved. 'No wonder the price was low compared to the quality of the place.'
"And here we are." Johan brought Arthur to Apartment number 199 before tapping his key card on the door sensor.

The door unlocked, before Johan swung it open, allowing Arthur to get a look at the inside.
The doorway was decently wide, while a small storage space and a table were next to it for keeping footwear and other things like keys.
"Please," Johan gestured with his hands, guiding Arthur along.
Passing the short corridor, Arthur arrived in the main living space.
On his right, there was the kitchen with all the appliances like a refrigerator, microwave, oven, and dishwater built into the wall. Several shelves and cupboards were also built above it, saving space and optimizing the kitchen area.
Opposite to the appliances, there was the sink and the countertop above which several mugs and glasses hung.
Walking past it, one could see a plain white wall on which a television screen hung. Opposite the television, there was a couch that was big enough for three people. Behind the couch, there was a partition that could be moved and behind this, there was a queen sized bed.
"The main living space is about sixty square meters and includes the kitchen." Johan introduced. "Just past this is the bathroom and a wardrobe which is about ten square meters in size." He explained.
Having shown that, Johan moved to the side that was exactly opposite the kitchen counter.

Johan pressed a switch on the wall, causing the curtains to move.
"And you also have 10 square meters of balcony space." He added.
Arthur opened the glass door of the balcony, allowing him to get a proper view of the cityscape beyond it.
"Whoa…" He couldn't help but feel stunned at the view.
He could see for over ten kilometers and all the skyscrapers were fully visible to him in the distance. Being on the nineteenth floor also meant that he had one of the best views in the building.
"I'm guessing you liked it?" Johan asked with a smile.
"Quite a lot." Arthur replied. "How much would it be, then?'
"Five Thousand union credits for the rental and deposit," Johan answered.
'If it was any other place like this, the cost would be two or three times this. I can't let this go!' Arthur thought.
"I'll take it!" Arthur immediately replied.
He was itching to say that the moment he had entered the apartment. After all, the deal he was getting was possibly the best he could.
