Chapter 182 - Who Swindled His Future Boyfriend?
Ji Yao sent him an intense vicious gaze, its effects felt across the street by the audience. Even they felt shivers down their spines when they weren't the criminal. They watched Ji Yao storm off before Rui Fei followed behind coaxing him.
Rui Li wanted to follow and watch the rest of this live-action but Rui Yewan stopped her. Grabbing her arm he pulled her back and said, "You can ask him what happened later..... for now just listen to Huishe Yue's story. That should keep you satiated for a while."
The last sentence was said in a murmur Rui Li could barely hear. In as much as she wanted to watch the YaoFei show, she knew if Rui Fei found out she was spying on them she would pay a heavy price.
"Fine," she said folding her arms across her chest in dissatisfaction.
Huishe Yue didn't appreciate the attitude but he still wanted to tease Lan Wu so he was forced to continue. "Trust me, our scandalous affair is more intense than those two. Those two are playing house but the two of us are the real deal," he said pulling Lan Wu closer.
"Where was I? Oh yes..... so I reached over and loosened the belt of my robe for him to rub the ointment on my bruises but he swiftly turned around with a face as red as cherries and said..... don't! He was panicked like a new bride in the bridal chamber... he was so cute," he said elbowing Lan Wu.
Lan Wu almost humphed at Huishe Yue's lies. This fluffy sugar-coated incident didn't happen exactly as he said. If he was to narrate this story it would be short and precise. Huishe Yue took off the top part of his robe and stood in front of a mirror admiring his physique while Lan Wu applied the ointment, end of story.
Well, Lan Wu underplayed what happened while Huishe Yue overly exaggerated the story with sultry words and excessive facial expressions. The interesting part was that the smart girl who usually isn't so gullible was eating it up with a contented look.
Lan Wu didn't want to burst her bubble so he tolerated Huishe Yue's lies that were rolling off his tongue with false sincerity. While Rui Li was swimming in so much dog food like a little baby fujoshi, Rui Fei was trying to convince Ji Yao that he wasn't a pervert and this was all a misunderstanding.
But unfortunately for him, he fell in love with a tough nut. No matter how many sweet words he spoke to him, Ji Yao treated him like air all the way to Red Bane. As soon as they reached the deck of the ship the remaining crew sensed immediate danger and made themselves scarce.
It was only when the cabin door closed did they poke their heads out of their hiding places. Xunshi Zhe slightly raised his head from behind the barrel to check the coast as he said, "Well that didn't last long."
"We are so dead. He is going to avenge yesterday's little incident," whispered Big Hei before sinking his head back behind the barrel.
"I will pick a lovely coffin for you," said Old Du as he passed by with a smug look.
Big Hei, "..."
Xunshi Zhe placed his hand on Big Hei's shoulder as though comforting him. Assuming he was being reassured Big Hei said, "You are a great friend..."
But before he could continue with his speech of gratitude, Xunshi Zhe said, "I will be there every year to see you on tomb-sweeping day. I will even burn you paper money so you can be rich in the underworld."
Big Hei, "QAQ," what loyal friends he had.
As soon as the door closed it was opened again and Rui Fei who had the door slammed in his face before walked in rubbing his nose. Of course, he didn't get hit by the door. He was playing on Ji Yao's sympathy.
Ji Yao who knew that door didn't hit Rui Fei just ignored him as he sat on a cushion pretending to be busy. The feeling of his ass being squeezed still lingered but the upsetting thing was the thrill of it spreading all over his body.
He was so embarrassed by his reaction that he got mad at the culprit who made him feel this way. Who knew a light touch on the butt by someone you like was this thrilling?
What he didn't realise was that this response to his ass being touched by Rui Fei would upgrade to ass slapping which he would end up liking so much that he would constantly ask for it.
Seeing that his pitiful act wasn't moving this mountain Rui Fei sat opposite Ji Yao and tried to act coquettish. "Yao-ge, it was an accident. I promise it won't happen again," he said obviously lying. How could he not touch that place when it felt so good?
"Liar," replied Ji Yao a little upset that he could say such a thing. Who says he shouldn't touch in the future? This anger was directed at Rui Fei but he was more upset with his body for liking it this much.
"Okay, okay you got me. I lied but what can I say to stop you from being mad at me. Oh, I almost forgot... here," he said taking out the set of brushes he bullied an old man to get.
Ji Yao narrowed his eyes at him before opening the fancy leather pouch with the previous dynasty's family crest on it. At first glance, you would think they were of superior quality with pure sable hair but upon closer inspection, one could see it was a cheap imitation good enough to full inexperienced clients.
He liked it because it came from Rui Fei but it was of little use to him and would need replacing after a couple of uses that is if the handle didn't snap while he is working.
Ji Yao traced his fingers on the handle of the brush with an unreadable expression. Rui Fei on the other hand was on pins and needles. He had bought Ji Yao a gift but he couldn't tell if he was happy or not. Unable to bear the suspense he moved over and sat beside Ji Yao with their bodies pressed together and said, "Do you not like it?"
Ji Yao snapped out of his trance and looked at him furrowing his brows. "Where did you get this and how much was it?" he asked with a serious look on his face.
Rui Fei, "....."
He explained the location of the shop but as for the price he had no idea because he asked Rui Li to take care of it. As soon as he mentioned the name of the shop Ji Yao got up and stormed out of the cabin.
Rui Fei suddenly had a bad premonition.
He had pressured that old man to sell the set and if he had known Ji Yao would have a strong reaction to it he wouldn't have bought it.
He caught up with Ji Yao who was crouching down by the dock doing something.. It seemed he was going to stand up for his future boyfriend who had been swindled.
