Voyage With The Pirate King

Chapter 154 - End Of Tedious Battle

Tightening the hold on its neck Rui Fei demanded, "Do it," in a tone that could terrify a child into crying. The creature almost wet its pants in fright. It was afraid of Qilin Kai but it was most afraid of Rui Fei. They hadn't met before but even it knew a dangerous person at first glance.

He had already offended Rui Fei once and it didn't want to add fuel to the flames. It walked a little closer to the Hundun with trembling legs. This wasn't the first time it had made the Hundun pass out but it was the first time it had done it without Qilin Kai's permission. Petrified half to death it moved closer and closer to the beast fighting to free itself from Ji Yao's hold.

It was raising dust with its bear like paws digging into the soil trying to gain a foothold but Ji Yao wasn't messing around. He had no plans of letting this Hundun go.

The creature stood close enough and shut its eyes ready to produce some sedative gas but under so much pressure it couldn't produce any. It tried channelling the rotten fish it ate last night but nothing happened.. When it was time for it to perform it failed miserably.

Losing his patience Ji Yao looked at Rui Fei like a supervisor looks at an employee when the big boss is around. The message in those eyes was clear and Rui Fei didn't keep him waiting. He had already gotten into trouble once because of that kiss and he didn't want to aggravate the situation any further.

He kicked the creature to the ground and stepped on its chest with his body upright. A fiendish smile appeared on his face as he said, "We can either do this the easy way or the painful way, which one do you prefer? It's either you do it or I slice your flesh off bit by bit until you release."

Well, that threatening tone and killing intent got the gas going. The only problem was that if it dared release in Rui Fei's presence by the time he can move it will surely be slaughtered.

Unwilling to be butchered by Rui Fei it raised its hands that closely resembled the slender man's long appendages in surrender. "I, I can't do it with you..... with you here," it said desperate to save its pathetic life.

With that evil smirk still plastered on his face, Rui Fei took his foot off and walked away. As soon as he got far enough a cloud of green gas rose in the air sweeping past some bystanders who had already suffered under the shook wave of the Hundun. Now they were being subjected to olfactory torture by a vomit inducing smell.

"Isn't that a little too much?" complained Ji Yao as Rui Fei approached him?

Rui Fei stood shoulder to shoulder with Ji Yao as he replied, "Yao-ge, you said I should take care of it but now you are complaining. You wanted him to release enough to knock out that Hundun and that's what I did."

"I didn't say anything," said Ji Yao still holding on to the hilt of his sword as the Hundun fought off the effects like a fish out of water.

Rui Fei almost laughed out loud at his words. He leaned closer to Ji Yao and pointed at his eyes and said, "You said it with your eyes... You looked like you were going to eat me if I didn't make him do it." As soon as his words fell Ji Yao gave him that look again but instead of asking what crime he had committed, Rui Fei found himself very excited.

He was busy thinking that he hoped one day Ji Yao would look at him like that in the cabin while they are alone half naked. That scene was so exciting in his mind that he couldn't help but purse his lips while ogling at him. This time his gaze lingered on Ji Yao's lips looking like a hungry wolf.

It seemed he had upped his flirting game ever since he held Ji Yao's hand. After having a taste of the forbidden fruit, he couldn't bring himself to stop. He found the feeling of teasing Ji Yao was much sweeter than honey though I highly doubt he knows what honey tastes like.

Ji Yao decided it was best to ignore him otherwise he might explode from anger. While these two were fight flirting someone was especially happy having received the world's greatest gift.

Zhang Li had been minding his own business trying to reduce his presence and not annoy his beloved when she came rushing over covering her face with a scarf.

Unfortunately for her the toxic green gas had already entered her system and taken effect. She was in the safe zone when the creature broke wind but a cool breeze swept past altering the course in her direction.

From her expression alone you could tell she hadn't expected that the first person she would run into would be Zhang Li. She wanted to keep walking but unfortunately, her body gave in and she fell right into the wolf's hands.

One might ask what did Zhang Li do? Well, he um..... he carried her like a gentleman should and um.... well, let's leave the rest of the story for tomorrow.

While Zhang Li was receiving an award greater than the Oscars, Qilin Kai and Huishe Yue had also had an encounter with the green poison. This was truly a blessing in disguise because the way they were fighting there was no sign of who would win and when the fight would end. This fight had no end in sight.

So when the universe acted accordingly and sent that easterly wind they were poisoned as well resulting in the both of them returning to their human form while coughing incessantly.

It didn't take long till the two of them collapsed to the ground. With the Hundun and these two taking a long nap, peace was restored to the world and Rui Fei was free to tease Ji Yao to his heart's content.

He stood in front of Ji Yao as he sheathed his sword and said to him, "How about we celebrate with some alcohol tonight."

Ji Yao, "...."

We all know what he was doing. He was trying to reap the benefits of a wasted Ji Yao. Unfortunately for him, Ji Yao had quit drinking especially after learning about the crazy shit he did to Rui Fei while drunk. There was no way he would drink again knowing what he knows.
