Virtual World: Conquering the World

Chapter 112: Xue Yue forever

Chapter 112: Xue Yue forever

Looking at the time, it was already six in the morning.  However, my name was still red, which was the lesson of blood. PKing felt good, but you had to kill monsters to return that feeling.

I chose the level 50 Skeleton Demons to level on.  At dawn, there were no players that came to level and the people of Flying Fire Link City were out of supplies, so they returned to the city.  There was only me who was in this tomb running around, aggroing a large amount of Skeleton Demons.

With my current stats, my level 38 bow dealt 552-668 damage, so it was quite easy killing the Skeleton Demons.  It took seven to eight Thousand Bladed Arrows to kill a single Skeleton Demon.  Although the experience of the Skeleton Demons with higher levels than me weren't much, it was quite a bit when there were many of them.  I could basically level with each two hours that passed.

At eight in the morning, the girls of the studio finally logged in.  After greeting them, they went to level and I continued killing monsters.

When it was close to ten, when I don't know how many Skeleton Demons I had already killed, I finally reached level 40.  There was a system notification.

"Ding~!"

System notification: You have reached the requirement to promote your Job!  Please go visit Sunset City's Master Hidden Dragon to receive your Job Change Quest!

...

I was surprised.  Master Hidden Dragon?  Why have I never heard of him before?

So I immediately returned to Sunset City.  There was already the sounds of players shouting out to sell their items!

Looking into my inventory, there were only a few Bronze Items and scattered equipment.  But I was happy about the finely made Blood Sucking Ring in the corner and I immediately headed to the appraiser.

When I put the Blood Sucking Ring on the table, the appraiser looked at it and calmly said, "Twenty gold coins!"

[Blood Sucking Ring] (Silver Equipment - Ring)

Strength: +15

Vitality: +12

Additional: For every close range attack, it can absorb 3% of the damage as the user's HP.

Required level: 40

(Unidentified)

Looking at the stats of the ring again, I confirmed that it was worth it.  I happily handed the gold coins over since I had quite a bit anyway, so I didn't care about this bit.

The appraised waved a hand and with a flash of silver light, a blood red glow appeared around the Blood Sucking Ring

[Blood Sucking Ring] (Silver Equipment - Ring)

Strength: +25

Vitality: +21

Additional: For every close range attack, it can absorb 4% of the damage as the user's HP.

Required level: 40

...

Seeing the stats of the Ring, I couldn't help breaking out in laughter.  Although it couldn't compare to Ling Xue's Dark Gold Purple Wind Ring, it was still quite strong, especially the additional 4% lifesteal effect.  This already greatly increased my effectiveness when it came to leveling in the future!

I immediately equipped the ring.  Like this, my stats would definitely increase again!

Easily Angered Bookworm (Beginner Dragon Whisperer)

Level: 40

HP: 2760

Attack: 392-520 (Spear)  594-710 (Bow

Defense: 490

Prestige: 16391

Luck: 0

...

Dragon Whisperers had a ten star vitality growth rate, so the 21 points of vitality added 210 HP to me, while the 25 points of strength increased my damage by 30 points.  Although I was only level 40, my max damage had already reached 710, which was a very terrifying situation!

As far as I knew, Ling Xue only had 600 attack power at level 45 and that was equipped with the Light Flow Sword.  If I had the Dark Gold Roaring Flame Spear, my attack would be greatly increased.

Thinking about it, I had to see if I should complete the quest or not!  After all, Dragon Whisperer was a Hidden Job and I didn't know where the Job Instructor was right now, so I just practiced like a fly without a head.  I believed that after I found the Job Instructor, I would get some broken Job Skills!

So I immediately wandered around Sunset City, but I was disappointed.  After wandering for around an hour, searching all of this second level main city's stores, I didn't find anything about the NPC called Master Hidden Dragon.

Feeling helpless, I could only log out.

Taking off the helmet, I felt the hunger that came from staying up all night.

I went into the living room and found something to fill my stomach.  I put a piece of paper on the door that read "call me for dinner" before entering the room to sleep.

In my dream, I was standing at an intersection in the city, looking into the distance vacantly.  I didn't know where to go, I just saw the indifference of people in my eyes.

When that time came, there was suddenly someone who pulled my sleeve.  It was a beautiful young girl who was around seventeen to eighteen.  She looked at me with wide eyes and a smile as she asked, "Hey, what are you thinking?"

I looked down to see the girl wearing a wool coat and a white dress shirt with a red tie that was being held up by her impressive mounds.  She was wearing a tight fitting pink skirt underneath.  This..if it wasn't Ling Xue, who would it be?

I quickly took Ling Xue's hand and said, "Ling Xue..is it really you?"

Ling Xue didn't say anything as she revealed a faint smile.

I was stunned, was this a dream?  I pinched myself and felt nothing, it really was a dream.

Since it was a dream, there shouldn't be a problem teasing her a bit, right?

Seeing the proud chest of this little beauty, I slowly reached out my hand.  Softly touching it, it really was soft and tall, with a shocking elastic feeling to it!

Ling Xue's eyes opened wide as she looked at me, but she said nothing.

...

At this time.

"Dong, dong!"

There was knocking at the door that woke me up.  I heard Ling Xue's voice coming from outside, "Hey!  Little fool, get up and come eat dinner!"

I rubbed my eyes and felt a bit of regret.  If it was a few minutes more, I could have felt it!

I put on my clothes and when I opened the door, I saw Ling Xue standing there.  She was holding a cup and it was filled with an orange coloured fruit juice.

Looking at me in surprise, Ling Xue pursed her lips, "Why are you panting, is sleeping something very tiring?"

I revealed an awkward smile.  If Ling Xue knew about my dream, she might throw me off the building!

At this time, Ling Xue pulled my sleeve and said with a smile, "Come and take a look, there's something fun here!"

I was surprised.  I found that there was a bottle of ink on the coffee table outside and the girls of Xue Yue were gathered around it.

Being pulled over by Ling Xue, I found that it was Rain Fall who was painting.

"This..What are you doing?  Calligraphy?"  I said in a surprised voice.

Zi Yue said with smile, "Bookworm?  Che, we are bringing culture to the studio!"

After saying this, Zi Yue came forward and wrote a few large lines, "Do it yourself, have enough food and clothing!"

I was speechless.  I looked at Ling Yue crossing her arms at her chest and took a meaningful look.

Zi Yue's writing wasn't considered good, but she still excitedly asked me, "Bookworm, what do you think?"

I said, "I remember that when I lived in my hometown, when the ducks came out of the mud and wagged their tails on the ground, it looked just like this."

Zi Yue's face turned red, "Wu, wu, I practiced for several days!"

Summer looked at Ling Yue and said with a smile, "Director Ling hasn't said anything.  You must have some skills, want to give it a try?"

Ling Yue revealed a faint smile, "Alright!"

It had to be said, Ling Yue had the style of a big family, she looked dignified holding the brush.  With a wave of the brush she wrote "sharing hardships" on the paper.  Her writing technique was quite good, there weren't any mistakes!

The girls all praised it.  Ling Yue came from a distinguished family, it was no wonder she was good at calligraphy.

I said, "Not bad, not bad~~"

But I never thought that I would bring the fire to myself.  Summer immediately shouted, "Bookworm, since you are a scholar, I want to see your calligraphy!"

I said, "It's not good to shock you"

"Don't be polite, come, come!"

Actually I wasn't being polite.  When I finished writing, everyone was stunned.  Ling Xue muttered, "This..Little fool, I never thought that your calligraphy really would be this good"

On the tea table, there was a line of words, "Xue Yue forever, conquering the world!"

Actually this was filled with flattery, but I really did think this.  Ling Yue and Ling Xue were the soul of Xue Yue and as a member, I really hoped that this studio could continue because everyone's dreams were here, which was to conquer the world!

Ling Yue was very touched.  She looked at me and asked in a meaningful voice, "Bookworm, can our Xue Yue really conquer the world?"

I nodded with a smile, "As long as everyone works together, I believe we can!"

Ling Yue pursed her lips into a faint smile, "Alright, I will hang up your words.  We'll hang it up in our living room and treat it as our Xue Yue's slogan and goal~!"

None of the girls rejected this and I was very flattered.  Ling Xue wanted to try writing, but after writing just a single word, her face turned red and she quickly crushed the paper, "No, no, I'll write it again!"

Everyone waited, but Ling Xue had crumpled her writing eight times in the end.  Finally she explained to everyone with a red face, "I'm not writing anymore!  I'm hungry, I'm not feeling well.."

Everyone was speechless.

So we began having dinner.  Drinking the winter melon soup that Bing Cha made, I asked, "in your time in Sunset City, have you ever heard of a NPC called Master Hidden Dragon?"

Ling Yue asked with a smile, "What?  You need to find this NPC for a quest?"

I nodded, "I'm already level 40, I need to do my Job Promotion Quest, so I have to find this quest NPC."

Ling Xue revealed a smile, "I never heard of it"

"Forget it, I'll search the web myself later!"

...

After we were full, the girls of the studio played in the living room while I returned to my room to surf the web.  I searched "Master Hidden Dragon" on the official forum.

But I received the prompt, "No results found."

My heart sunk, could it be that no one had seen this NPC before?

There was no other way, I could only surf the forum and see if I could find anything.

The Spirit of Grief Forum was still as hot as before and the Chinese Server level ranking was on it.

While I was wildly leveling, the others weren't idle, especially Ling Yue whose speed was quite fast.  What people saw was that she was first in the Chinese Server and second in the world!

I didn't know where I ranked at level 40, I couldn't find myself at all.  But with my superior leveling abilities, in the next few days, it wasn't impossible for me to return to the Chinese Server level rankings.

There was a flaming war going on the forums and the saliva weapons never stopped.

When I opened the Sunset City forum, I saw that Xue Yue, Bloodthirsty, and Fated took up half the posts.  As for the rest of the posts, they were about beauties.  Ling Yue and Ling Xue became the representatives for Sunset City and all the people were drooling over these two twins.

As the matter of my falling down to level zero and gradually returning, there were few posts.  But when the matter of my PKing Fated Bloodthirster's group of assassins and when the video of me PKing Bloodthirsty World's group came online, a level 38 player killing nine players that had their Job promotion, what kind of concept was that?

Instantly, it was the talk of the town and many people called it the "return of the king".

I revealed a faint smile and kept reading.  The rest were all different gossip.  Like a cleric who had been surrounded by men when leveling, opening up a room looking for a husband.  Then there was someone looking for a girlfriend online, but he was caught by other players and robbed of all his Bronze Equipment.

After reading for half an hour, I finally found a valuable piece of news in a corner.

There was a post that a noob player had sent, "Can the names of NPCs change?"

The post only had several dozen views.  Everyone was interested in beauties, no one cared about questions.

So I quickly opened it and found the content of the post, "I went behind the weapon shop in the south of Sunset City and found an NPC named "Wandering Poet Darwin", but every hour, there would be a minute where the name would become transparent.  I don't know what is going on, is there something wrong with the game?"

Faced with the question of this noob, there was no one who could reply.

I calculated in my heart.  A NPC that could change names, could it be the person I was looking for?

I immediately logged on and appeared at the eastern gate square.  After getting my supplies and fixing my equipment, I headed to the southern part of Sunset City.
