Villainess Wants To Turn Over A New Leaf

Chapter 451

Lin Feilu leaned forward, rubbed her face against his chest and asked sleepily, “What are you doing?”

He said with a smile in his voice, “I’m watching the Princess sleep.”

She was a little embarrassed, “What’s so interesting about watching me sleep? It’s not like I have a good sleeping form.”

Song Jinglan laughed, held her wrist and wrapped his arms around his waist. He then lowered his head and kissed her forehead, which had messy strands of hair around it, “Come on, get up and eat.”

She buried herself in his arms, “I’m not hungry,” After a pause, she continued, “I went to see the Empress Dowager today and she even gave me an ice jade bracelet.”

Song Jinglan liked that she was initiating and seeking out intimacy from him. He stroked the back of her head with his palm, combing his fingers into her hair and hummed in a lazy voice, “Mmm.”

Lin Feilu raised her head and could only see his defined jaw, “Do you not like her?”

His breathing remained calm and there wasn’t even a hitch in his voice,”I can’t say I like her, but I can’t say I hate her. As long as she doesn’t overstep her boundaries, I won’t do anything to her.”

Lin Feilu didn’t speak for a while.

Song Jinglan lowered his head, gently pinching the back of her neck with his fingers and asked slowly, “Does the Princess hate the fact that I think this way?”

Killing his father and brothers, and neglecting his biological mother, all of his actions were inconsistent with this era that valued filial piety and benevolence. This stain would probably be marked in the future history books and he would most likely be called a tyrant.

Nevertheless, he didn’t care about those things. The only thing he cared about was the girl’s opinion that snuggled in his embrace.

Lin Feilu leaned back slightly before she raised her head and rubbed his chin with the tip of her nose. It was as if she was trying to comfort him while also feeling empathy for his past before she softly uttered under his gaze, “Our Little Song must have been suffering all this time.”

No, she was sure that he had been through an endless amount of suffering.

Whether she was talking about his life in the Great Lin Empire or the Song Empire, it didn’t matter— they were the same.

Song Jinglan’s drooping eyelashes trembled slightly.

Then, he lowered his head and kissed the pair of doe eyes that were fixated on him.

His movements were gentle as his lips brushed her eyelids lightly as if he was worried he might hurt her. He kissed her from her eyes to the tip of her nose before inching lower toward her lips.

All the tenderness and gentleness his soul had to offer was given to her and her alone.

Lin Feilu responded to his kiss with closed eyes as she felt the person who was once lying on his side gradually leaning down. With his palms venturing lower, he stroked the back of her neck before lightly rubbing circles over her spine. When he caressed her waist, his fingers pulled away the ribbon of her corset.

She was only wearing a single garment, so when the tie was loosened, the loose garment slid to the side, revealing her entirety at a glance.

The removal of her fabric froze Lin Feilu and as her brain became less muddy, she opened her eyes slightly. Her arms were still hooked around his neck, but her voice sounded in a pant, “Are…are we doing this now?”
