The Elders continued talking for hours after Blake left.

Thinking that he had become so insolent despite being a mere clone they created made them go mad.

"Who does he think he is?!" Stay updated via empire

"Braveblitz, that talking machine warrior is still our property, we created it, right?"

"Yes, he's the only one that can pilot it, but that will change once we're on our new planet."

"The first thing we must do is apprehend him and throw him into jail, perhaps execute him once he's no longer needed."

"Once he's dead, we'll simply dismantle Braveblitz and inspect his interior piece by piece. This way we will be able to understand how he was made and replicate him."

They resembled dried out, frozen mummies, it was insane how they were somehow still alive, they had been extending their lives for perhaps thousands of years now.

"They sure love to talk behind my back…"

Blake sighed, as he ordered the worms to do as he told them before.

They quickly jumped into each of the Elders bodies, unable to feel anything as they were in a state of cryostasis.

However, this changed the moment their souls started being eaten by tiny worms, and then rapidly parasitized by them.

"Ugh?!"

"W-What is this sensation?"

"It hurts?!"

"Agh! W-What's going…!"

Before they could do anything else or call for help, they suddenly went silent. The robots looking at them ran to see if there was a problem, but there was no response.

"Good, now slowly, eat their souls and replace them."

The worms easily ate the Elder Souls, who were so small and weak without any supernatural powers. They took over their consciousness, emotions, memories, and more, and controlled them all.

In just an hour, the Elders had completely changed, becoming awfully silent as well, as if still processing what they had now become.

However, it wasn't as if there was any discomfort anymore, they felt perfectly fine.

"Right, what were we talking about?"

"Yes, that we should aid Blake and the colony to survive as much as possible."

"Indeed, he wasn't wrong at all with his words!"

"We were simply full of ourselves. Let's work together and invest everything we have so the pilots are well prepared!"

"Shall we allow them to use the version 2 and version 3 of the Machine Warriors then? The ones we were saving to use as our military force for the future?"

"Of course! It's the only way to save humanity!"

"We must also equip them with Photonic Weapons and Plasma Armor if possible."

"Let's also increase their salary, and don't limit how much they can buy."

"We must also create more clones to pilot the robots. Hasten the process, also inject them with more knowledge necessary, which Blake will donate himself, he said that after all, right?"

"It's not like you ever taught me anything like that, old man," Blake shrugged. "Anyways, we'll also purchase Fang, Woo, and Celestina's robots, so they can go around…"

Blake ended doing many purchases that night, before finally going to sleep with a smile on his face.

And once the next morning arrived, several news spread through the entire mothership colony.

The Elders did a whole speech announcing their complete support towards the defense of the people.

They garnered everyone's attention and happiness, and the citizens became very content.

The pilots as well, as that morning, they were all surprised with giant new Machine Warriors.

There were two new Versions.

Exo-Machine Warriors, which were like a Mech for their mech.

They were roughly five times as big as Machine Warriors, and by placing a Machine Warrior in the core, they could control these gigantic titans of steel.

And Beast-Machine Warriors, which were at least 2.5 times as big as the original ones, they didn't work like the Exo versions, but were more powerful, faster, and had more attack power.

They were mostly all shaped after beasts and creatures, optimized to move and battle in a land with gravity, however, through several modifications, they were also capable of space flight and fight, and exploit their agility and attack power.

But that wasn't all, they were given Photonic Lasers, Plasma Swords, Repulsion-Field Barrier Armor, and even Graviton Shields, amongst many new gifts.

They were all that humanity had been doing so far, which they never desired to ever share with the pilots risking their lives to protect them!

"Insane!"

"I can't believe this!"

"S-So many new things?!"

"Woah…!"

"Wait, what?! I can pilot the Exo-Machine Warriors?! Really?!"

"I want the Beast ones! They're so cool!"

"With all these weapons, our chances of losing have decreased quite a lot!"

All the pilots celebrated, and even more when they saw more reinforcements arriving, two hundred more pilots joined the fray, injected with data and information from Blake's resources, they came already pre-equipped with knowledge and experience to battle much better.

And then…

[WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!]

[XENOID ATTACK HAS BEEN DETECTED! ALL PILOTS PLEASE MOVE TO THE FIGHTING STATIONS!]

"This is the beginning of the end." Blake smiled. "Braveblitz, are you ready?"

"Yes, Blake! Let us save humanity together, friend!"
