Chapter 534 WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO HIM?

Chapter 534 WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO HIM?

July looked at Knox with so much pain in her eyes, she begged him not to take her daughter away and when he barely acknowledged her plea, July turned to the devil, as she asked him for help, just like how she had asked him to help her get pregnant with Knox's child, which was a wrong move in Knox's eyes.

How could July turn around and ask for Aaron's help when she knew exactly and very clearly that she couldn't do such a thing? July knew every reason not to associate herself with the devil, but that was exactly what she was doing right now.

"Aaron, please..." July looked at the devil, tears welling up in her eyes.

However, Knox had disappeared right before her eyes, which made July become hysterical and the last thing that he heard was her screaming in pain as he took away their only child. He saw disbelief in her eyes and also fear. A lot of fear...

One second Knox was facing July, but in the blink of an eye, he was already in their hideout. The house was protected by the magical power from Chaos himself, therefore it could be said that Aaron wouldn't be able to follow him here.

All things aside, Knox indeed got his daughter. The only problem was, he didn't know what to do with this little child.

What should he say to her? What must he do when she cried, asking for her mother? But most importantly, what would Chaos do to her when he found out about her, when he got his hands on her...

What would Knox do? Would he stand by and watch in ignorance when Chaos sucked his only daughter's soul? Would he be able to do that?

Knox covered his daughter with a blanket and then looked at her face, there were still stains of tears on her cheeks and a furrow between her brows.

He decided to stay there for now. He didn't know when Chaos would return. He needed time to reorganize his thoughts.

The fact that his daughter was right before his eyes was something that he didn't predict at all. He learned that he was a father, but it was all only an idea, yet right now, when he could see and touch his daughter, everything was so real.

Knox rubbed his face roughly and then sighed deeply. He felt so tired. Exhausted.

"Why did you do this, July?" He whispered to no one in particular. The look on her face when she begged him was still etched in his memory.

"You shouldn't have come here, Gael," Vanesha said, there was sadness in her eyes when she managed to knock Gael down.

Sol had fought Gael before, thus he managed to create a device, which was able to hold his magical power back, not to mention that Sol had done research on River for years, who had a similar power to her father's.

Therefore, he managed to anticipate a situation like this and came up with a plan on how to counter Gael's power, especially when Sol was being helped by the devil. He got his hands on a lot of knowledge about supernatural creatures.

Most of that knowledge was something he had never heard or known about before.

"I don't want to do this to you. I hoped we would never encounter each other again, but here we are…" Vanesha stared at Gael, who was lying on the floor, looking very weak.

Gael didn't die, but the device she managed to put around his ankle had sucked all of his energy and power and right now, he was struggling to keep his mind conscious.

"I didn't mean to do this to you… only if you have stayed away from here…" Vanesha bit her lips when she gestured to the two shifters, who had shifted back into their human form. They were only wearing boxers, which showed their toned bodies and muscles.

The two men approached Gael and lifted him up easily, as they walked out of the room that had been burned down because of Gael's power.

Not only this room, but almost a quarter of the facility had been burned down. A few people and shifters had died because of him and it was not a small number of people that was injured. All of that happened because of this one supernatural creature.

They managed to capture Gael because Vanesha threw herself in the direction of his attack, which made him withdraw his power and those precious few seconds were used efficiently to put the device on him.

Vanesha didn't feel glad at all to see the damage had stopped, since the perpetrator had been caught, because she thought Gael would be able to run away from this place.

Vanesha was conflicted, half of her didn't want Gael to be caught, but the other half of her wanted to catch him, so she could prove to Sol that she was loyal to him.

"Take over this place and call Vice Commander Nikolai, make sure there he knows everything that happened here," Vanesha said to Anika, one of the members of the hound.

The girl named Anika bowed her head politely and then walked out of this ruined place to inform Nikolai about this.

Meanwhile, Vanesha stared at the second door that Skylar managed to walk through, she stayed there for a little while, before she turned around and then left.

The door had been ruined, the entrance of the second door was completely blocked, therefore there was nothing Vanesha could do to chase after Skylar, but even so, she didn't think the girl would survive there.

And after deciding that she couldn't do anything to Skylar for the meantime, she walked away from there and hopped into her car to drive straight to where Sol was right now.

He was a city away from here, but Vanesha managed to find him after two hours of driving, but even so, she didn't stop to take a break and immediately walked into Sol's study room.

"How many times should I ask you to knock on the door?" Sol asked Vanesha with a frown. He didn't reprimand the person that had let her in, but he didn't look like he was happy to see her, after all this was not the first time for Vanesha to do this kind of thing.

"Tell me, Sol, what are you going to do to Gael?" Vanesha asked, her voice was slightly trembling, which made Sol lift his head from the document on his desk and pay more attention to her.

"You managed to get him?" Sol leaned his back against the recliner and stared at Vanesha intensely.

"He is here…"

"Did you put him in the dungeon?" He wanted to make sure that Gael was placed right in a place that he deserved.

"I put him in one of the bedrooms in this house." This huge house had several rooms, he wouldn't mind if someone occupied one of those.

"He is a prisoner, not a tourist that you can treat like a king." Sol couldn't believe that Vanesha would do that.

Not to mention a dungeon, he wouldn't hesitate to put Gael in hell if he could do that.

There was no way Sol would be fine if his enemy was treated better than he deserved.

Sol immediately stood up and walked toward the door, but before that, Vanesha stopped him. She grabbed his arm, which made him frown.

"What are you going to do to him?" She asked again. She was scared thinking about what he might do to Gael.

It was not only about the problem between humans and supernatural creatures, but the grudge between them was way deeper than that.

Gael had taken the girl that Sol loved and even in her last moments, he couldn't be there, he was not able to meet with her, not to mention that it was Gael, who had killed Sol's father.

Even though he was not a good father, the fact that he was his father couldn't be denied. He had taught a lot of useful things to Sol, for him to fight against the supernatural creatures.

"This is not your business. You have done well, now you can rest." Sol reciprocated Vanesha's gaze, she looked like a mess.

"Sol… please, tell me, what are you going to do to him?" Vanesha asked again, she felt her throat get parched and her lips dried when a horrendous thought came to her mind.

Sol was silent for a while. "You're still worried about him."

Vanesha gritted her teeth. "I helped you with everything I could, I just wanted to know about this." She didn't give him a definite answer.

"If you are so worried, why don't you come with me?" Sol softened his expression and then extended his hand to caress her cheek tenderly. "You can come with me if that's what you want."

Vanesha hesitated for a moment. She didn't want to meet with Gael anymore and see the hatred in his eyes.

However…

"Can I?" Vanesha was doubtful when she heard about his offer.

"Of course, you can." Sol could feel the grip on his arm loosen, thus he continued. "Nikolai is my second in command, but you hold the same position as him."

Vanesha lowered her head and Sol kissed the top of her forehead. He needed Vanesha. He needed this girl because she was very useful and the love that she had for him was almost absurd, until Sol couldn't even picture himself with her.
