Chapter 86: Niflheim
Chapter 86: Niflheim
[An isolated element that is often compared to the unknown and a mysterious element which is feared and sought after, the perfect unison of the dark and the ice element, the unison of the unknown and the cold, the deadly and the misty]
[Niflheim- skill tree unlocked!]
Was controlling an opponent's spell easy? no, was mixing two random elements easy? definitely not, only a handful of people could probably wish to pull it off and all of them were probably mages or Arcane Knights. A huge mass of black and white dust was floating in front of Night, who was now drenched in sweat with his knees visibly almost falling to the ground.
"Niflheim....s-kill tree??"
He launched the sphere the second he finished questioning the notification, to be more precise, he couldn't control the sphere anymore and launched it straight at the Draugar Duke, but just the size of the sphere was huge enough to drag the nearby Generals in.
"Ha...." Night panted, this was his first time something in Genesis made him sweat so much, he watched as the sphere engulfed every draugar there before exploding, completely blinding him.
"Where.." Night walked forward, hoping he would find something to lean against or something that could hold him up. He limped forward, tripping and almost falling multiple times.
"Stairs...? the seat....whe-"
*????*
"Finally.." Night said as he closed his eyes once he found the stone seat the Draugar Duke sat upon, completely unaware of the notifications that popped up in front of him.
"Wouldnt...hurt....to rest a bit.." Night said before leaning on his hand that was on the armrest.

"I realize it's a little too late to ask this question since we're practically almost at the end of the dungeon but I thought nobody could enter the dungeon?" Shade asked as they hurried past the hundreds of broken bones on the floor.
"Well, nobody can, unless they have the rights, and as the Einherjari of this dungeon, I possess said rights," Njal said. "We're here...I don't hear anything, let's just hope Night is alright.."
"I trust My Lord," Shade said with wavering.
"Y-yes...Guards! The door, quickly!"
"What..."
"My Lord!!"
The group opened the door but nobody other than Shade and Noctis dared to move, Night sat on the stone seat in the centre, with one leg on the other and casually leaning on his hand as if nothing happened, the Generals and the Duke's bodies were thrown around the room, completely broken down with no 'life' in them.
But that wasn't what caused them to hesitate, the dark and cold presence of Night, was familiar yet it caused fear among them, especially among the Norse, it reminded them of something forgotten, something their ancestors experienced, they weren't sure what it was but it was in their blood, something made their blood tremble.
"Ah, Shade, sorry, I was just resting for a bit," Night said as he got up, instantly the deadly presence around him was eliminated, almost as if the others were imagining it.
[Congratulations! You have cleared the 20th dungeon of Valhalla]
[Dungeon clear reward: Token of the 20th Valhalla]

"....Uh, si-"
"No, Reed, I do not know why or how he unlocked Niflheim skill tree, while it does have something to do with mixing the two elements at the same time, just mixing the two elements isn't enough, so I'm not sure as well? maybe it has something to do with the fact that he's in the Norse Kingdom?" Kenny replied with his hand massaging his forehead.
'Niflheim, the last of the worlds, the cold and deadly region ruled over by Hel herself, is it a coincidence?' Kenny thought to himself as he watched Night absolutely obliterate the Draugars.
