Chapter 24: Chapter 24

[Location: Mystic Falls Highschool] [3rd POV]

It was the day after the Arachne fiasco, and some rather important events had taken place. First, Kaleb was thrown into a werewolf transition space in order to detox off the human blood he had been drinking. He ended up threatening, and attempting to attack, Matt and Alaric, hence the punishment.

Due to her little showing of magic, Talia was also on the receiving end of a lot more questions from the group, primarily MG and Lizzie. Her magic was entirely different than there's, which caused more and more interest in not only their little super squad, but also the other students in the school.

On Talia's end, she had completely ignored all of this in favor of planning the little date with Hope. She had gotten the tribrid a gift that she believed she would like, while also setting up the date that she hoped the girl would like. She had already informed Hope that she could wear just about anything she wanted, as it was just going to be a casual date.

It was late into the day, and it was time for the date to begin. Talia was already dressed up in some casual, but elegant clothing (imagine what you want). Walking up to the door to their room, she knocked, knowing that Hope was getting ready. Slowly, the door opened, and Talia was greeted by a beautiful sight.

Looking at the dress Hope had picked out, Talia cracked a smile "You look beautiful, Hope" Hope hearing this smiled with a slight blush "Thank you, you look...handsome" Hope replied looking over Talia's outfit.

Holding her arm out for the girl to grab, Hope raised an eyebrow and grabbed it. Holding her hand out, Talia made a gate in front of them, that would lead to their first destination. Leading the girl through the portal, Hope's eyes widened slightly as she walked through. On the other side, was a table already set with food and drinks. In the background the eiffel tower lit up the evening sky.

"Y-you can teleport this far?" Hope asked in shock, as she realized that they were currently in Paris.

Chuckling, Talia responded "I can teleport just about anywhere I want" Pulling the chair out, Hope sat in it, as Talia took her seat.

"I wasn't sure what type of date you'd want, so I've made some plans that would have some rather elegant stuff like this, and later will be the more fun stuff" Talia said, causing Hope to smile. The fact that Talia was putting so much thought into the date, meant a lot to the tribrid.

Digging into the food, the two began to converse with one another while eating "So, I know from Emma that you are rich, but how rich exactly are you?" Hope asked, having wondered about this for a while now.

"Well...as of right now, I believe I am the second richest woman in the world, and am in the top 15 richest" Talia replied casually. Hope's eyes widened at this "Wait, so you're a billionaire?"

"Mmhmm. Like I told Emma, money is not a problem for me" Talia replied, causing Hope to sigh in defeat "You really are the weirdest person I know, you know that?"

"Oh? Am I weird in a good or bad way?" Talia asked, causing Hope to think before responding with a slight smile.

"In a good way" Hearing this Talia responded "Well, I think you're weird in a good way, as well" Hope giggled at this, as the two continued to eat their food while conversing, using this chance to get to know one another better.

"Um...you don't have to answer this question, but, what was it like to live alone for so long?" Hope asked cautiously. It was a question she had been wondering for a good while now, but didn't want to bring it up.

Hearing the question, Talia softly smiled "Lonely, lonelier than you could ever imagine. It had it's upsides that I'll miss, but I definitely wouldn't return to it. I prefer what I have now, over what I used to have" Talia answered softly. She could tell that Hope was nervous to ask the question, but Talia wasn't all that against answering it, as she had long since gotten over the loneliness she had experienced in her past life

"Counter question, what's it like being a tribrid?" Talia asked, actually wanting to know the answer. While she herself was a combination of species, Hope's was a bit different than hers, it was more...innate.

"Uh...different I guess? I'm only a hybrid right now, but having the urges of a werewolf, and the magic of a witch, is...overbearing at times. I don't even know how I'm gonna deal with the increased emotions when I inevitably become a vampire" Hope answered.

Talia hummed at this, before replying "Well, when the day comes, I'll make sure to be there to help you through it" Hope blinked at this, before smiling slightly.

The rest of the first part of the date went off without a hitch, with the two continuing to talk about themselves, and finding out more about one another. After that, Talia had brought Hope to a carnival where Talia proceeded to crush every carnival game, netting Hope a large amount of stuffed animals. They had also made sure to get pictures in the photo booth, went on the ferris wheel, and all the other must do's when at a carnival.

After the carnival, Talia brought Hope go karting, which was another round of fun where the two competed. This time Hope had "crushed" Talia, which in reality Talia let her win, as she thoroughly enjoyed the adorable look of excitement on Hope's face when she won.

Now though, Talia was preparing for the big finale of the date, and the best part of it all in her opinion. Hope who had a wide smile on her face, followed Talia until she brought her to a location where they were alone, so that she could open a gate.

Opening the gate, Talia turned to her "Close your eyes" "Why?" Hope asked, only for Talia to reply "Trust me"

Hearing this Hope sighed but nodded, as she shut her eyes tightly, as Talia walked behind her, and led her through the gate. Hope who's eyes were closed, could immediately tell that something was different.

Leading Hope, Talia made sure the time was right, before she spoke "Go ahead and open your eyes, love" Opening her eyes, Hope gasped in shock at what she was looking at. "A-Are we-" "Welcome to the moon"n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

That's the end of this chapter! Next chapter will be longer, and will cover the rest of the date, and the truly juicy stuff.

This chapter was primarily just showing the first part of the date, and that was about it. More will happen next chapter (maybe at least), just think of this chapter as a sort of build up to it.

Two chapters from now, we'll get back to Talia's dungeon adventures (for only a portion of the chapter) and episode 5, which may or may not be quicker than the last episode. After that, it'll be Josie and Lizzie's bio mom, and then the Necromancer, in which canon will begin to

completely change!

Sorry if the date so far, sucked. As I have never written any sort of date, not like this anyway. I am pretty awful at romance, which is why I tend to make it happen rather quickly.
