Type-Moon, but the Servant is Tom

Chapter 34: What's the commotion?!

Chapter 34: What's the commotion?!

Bai Song at this moment was quite eye-catching. Almost all passersby immediately turned their gaze in his direction, only to quickly avert their eyes afterwards. If there were parents with children, they would cover their child's eyes and say, "Don't look, there's a weirdo," while hurrying their own child away from the area.

If you're wondering why this is happening, just take a look at Bai Song's attire. The lower half of his body appeared perfectly normal, with standard black jeans and a pair of white sneakersnothing out of the ordinary. But as you move your gaze upwards, things start to get strange. Bai Song wore a long-sleeved white T-shirt with a stuffed toy resembling a mouse sticking out from the neckline. His hands were covered in furry gloves, tightly concealing his arms to the point where no hint of skin was visible.

Moving up to his neck, you would notice a blue-gray scarf tied like a caterpillar, and finally, a black hood that only revealed his eyes and mouth. The atmosphere instantly became unsettling. Coupled with the plastic bag he was carrying, it was hard not to suspect that he had stolen money from somewhere.

It would be a waste of this criminal novice outfit if he didn't go for a robbery. However, Bai Song clearly wouldn't and couldn't engage in such activities. As an upright citizen... or rather, an upright male, Bai Song would never do such things. Moreover, he was currently being pursued by the police, so he needed to find a place to change clothes quickly to evade their chase.

"Why... Why are they chasing me so relentlessly?" Bai Song muttered as he weaved through the alleyways, glancing back to see another police officer appearing. He felt exhausted both mentally and physically. To put it simply, he was worn out.

Not only did he not get to sleep in naturally this morning, but he was also woken up by a bomb from his own servant. After finally calming down his two servants, the police showed up at his doorstep. Since the moment Bai Song opened his eyes today, he had been tormented.

"Tom, give me something quieter!" Bai Song quickly surveyed the surroundings, seeing no other police officers arriving for the time being. He immediately made a decision: first, he needed to prevent the officer from contacting his teammates.

As soon as Tom heard this request, he froze. Something quieter? In Tom's dictionary, the word "quiet" simply didn't exist.

However, that didn't matter. After all, Tom was the world champion in catching mouse! This request was just a minor issue for him!

Tom's lower body was wrapped around Bai Song's neck, facing backward. His left arm crossed his chest, while his right elbow rested on his left arm, and his palm held his chin as he began to ponder. Soon, it seemed like he had come up with something, and a shining light bulb, symbolizing inspiration, appeared above his head. It was the kind of light bulb that could be seen with the naked eye.

Just as the police officer behind him was about to press the communication device to report that the suspect was right there with him, he noticed the floating light bulb above Tom's head. It was bright enough to stun him for a moment before he started reaching for the communication device to report. Seeing this, Tom had to abandon the idea that had popped up in his mind.

He grabbed the floating light bulb, representing his idea, and swiftly threw it towards the police officer's direction. Startled, the officer quickly lowered his head, attempting to dodge the attack. His evasion skills turned out to be quite impressive, even in his bewildered state, as he effortlessly avoided the light bulb thrown by Tom.

But just as he raised his head, relieved that he had dodged the bulb, it seemed that the bulb realized it hadn't hit its target. It stopped its flight about one meter behind him and floated in mid-air. The bulb turned in place, and in an instant, it went from 0 to 100 in terms of speed without any visible acceleration. It shot directly at the back of the officer's head at full speed.

Crack!

With a crisp sound, the light bulb hit the back of the officer's head perfectly, and he promptly fell to the ground without a sound. If one were closer, they would see a half-spherical bulge, 5 centimeters in diameter, rising on the spot where the bulb had made contact.

"Well done, Tom." Bai Song exclaimed, relieved that Tom had dealt with the officer so effectively.

After running a short distance, Bai Song found a secluded corner and didn't care whether the ground was dirty or not. He simply sat down, feeling like he had already completed his year's worth of exercise. If he continued running, he might just collapse from exhaustion on the road. Along the way, he had lost count of how many officers he had taken care of.

Duang~~~ !!!

Just as Bai Song sat on the ground to catch his breath, suddenly, from not too far away, came a loud noise that immediately made his relaxed heart tense up once again.

Bai Song swallowed a mouthful of saliva and quickly looked towards the direction where the sound came from. It was a dark corner, and there wouldn't be any discoveries just by looking from this side. "What's the commotion?!"

"Tom, why don't you go and check?" Bai Song looked at Tom.

Upon hearing this, Tom's head shook like a bell, and he firmly chose to refuse. As a scaredy-cat, hearing such sounds in this alley made it even more panicked than Bai Song. It would probably be scared out of its wits if it went to take a look.

After shaking his head, Tom didn't wait for Bai Song to say another word. He reached into Bai Song's pocket and took out Jerry, feeling around.

Without caring whether Jerry liked it or not, Tom immediately threw Jerry towards the corner where the sound came from.

Jerry was so scared that he almost shouted, "Are you sicko?"

The moment Jerry landed, he quickly rushed back at the fastest speed, grabbing onto Bai Song's trouser leg and rapidly crawling back into Bai Song's pocket. The movement was extremely swift, no longer resembling a mouse.

Deep within that corner, there was a servant who looked extremely similar to Saber, back against the wall with a frightened expression, doing everything possible to hide her own figure.

She was Kirei's servant and had been following Bai Song all the way on Kirei's orders. However, she had just accidentally fallen from the rooftop and landed in the garbage pile below.

In that instant, she panicked because she had witnessed how easily that cat had defeated two powerful servants.

If she was discovered, she would be instantly annihilated!
